I worked as a substitute teacher at little hands learning center an this was by far one of the most unprofessional schools Ive worked at. The teacher that I worked with named Ms. Krystal was very unprofessional & not very pleasant to her students. I noticed that she was not very tity with diper changes, and she was not very interactive with her students. I even heard Ms Krystal tell one of the 3yr Olds that she wish she went home. I was not very pleased with my experience

Little Hands is an AMAZING early childhood education center! My husband and I chose Little Hands because of its reputation for creating a diverse learning environment with a curriculum that offers Spanish, Mandarin, music, science, and more! Our son is very comfortable in his class, with his teachers, and we just adore watching how well he is developing socially and cognitively. At age 2, he has learned to count from 1-20, sings songs in Spanish, recognizes shapes like pentagons and hexagons, and reads some sight words.Cathy and her team keep parents well-informed, host a number of engaging and fun activities for the families, and were delighted to have this center located in our neighborhood.

I love Little Hands so much. This is my son’s 1st year of preschool there, and I wasn’t sure how he would adjust to school but the staff make it so easy. They are very experienced, the atmosphere is very warm and loving. What an awesome community of parents, and I love the teachers as well. They’ve made the transition for my son a breeze. He is even eating new foods now at home thanks to them, and he’s a very picky eater. I would recommend Little Hands to anyone looking for a school ❤️

As first time parents at Little Hands Learning Center, we elected to enroll our child in summer camp at LHLC and are so happy with our choice! Everyone has been incredibly warm, nice and extremely informative. Ms. Krystle and Ms. Vanessa are AMAZING!!!! The Executive Director, Catherine Griffin, truly takes her time to deliver high quality learning to each and every student and makes time for her parents. We are staying on for Fall and confident things will be great!

I am not normally one to write reviews, but this program is absolutely AMAZING!!! The program is warm and loving, nurturing and educational and all around a friendly and happy environment for the parents and children. My daughter started here as an infant and she is currently graduating and going to one of the gifted centers and I could not be more pleased with their curriculum and execution of the curriculum. The administrative team is always friendly and helpful, the teachers are open and communicate with the parents and they create a very open and friendly environment where you feel comfortable leaving your child here. This place set the bar extremely high for preschools and kindergarten programs everywhere and I am so happy my child was able to enjoy the Little Hands Learning Center Experience. Be sure to check it out....I guarantee you will be pleased!!!

Little Hands Learning Academy has been an wonderful experience for my 4 yo. The learning environment has smaller classroom sizes which allows the teachers time for1:1. Within 5 months we noticed the development of many concepts including site words, basic writing skills and reading simple sentences. The teachers are compassionate and friendly. Overall we are very pleased, thank you to the entire Little Hands Staff.

Little Hands Learning Center is amazing. The staff is so attentive and the Children learn so much. Im very impressive with the gift prep programs. This program incorporate activities that are designed to challenge your child in key areas that will help them prepare for testing as well as reduce any test anxiety that they may experience prior to taking the exam- and its working!!!Lastly, the classrooms and center as a whole is soooo clean and impressive-looking. Highly recommended to those seeking a better day care experience.

This school is nothing short of amazing. The staff (teachers) are like a mother not only to my child but to me many times as well. They treat my son as their own and they challenge him to be great. My son has been reading and doing math since age 3 (so imagine what he is doing now). His vocabulary and worldly knowledge has no limits. I have also enjoyed the extra curricular piano lessons available with Ms. Claudia that include a fall and spring recital. I had an idea of what I would have liked the school my son would attend to be like. I never thought Id get this. They have exceeded expectations. My childs education is an investment Little Hands reminds me is well worth it

My husband and I love the Little Hands Learning Center experience! I call it an experience because it has many beautiful things to offer. The curriculum the school offers is phenomenal. The administration, staff, children and parents are the best. LHLC is such an awesome community and we believe our 6 year old and 3 year old boys have made memories and formed relationships that will last for years to come.

We love so many things about Little Hands. At Little Hands, you find all youre looking for in child care - a focus on the childs well-being, a focus on the childs development, and a happy and loving environment. On top of those impressive offerings, Little Hands stands out by having passionate and driven teachers and leaders. The ambition to be the best and offer the most they possibly can is easily seen and greatly appreciated by the families of LHLC.

My daughter has been at little hands for about 3.5 years and to see her grow into an amazing little girl is an understatement . She is well spoken and the lhlc curriculum makes her so well rounded with dance, Spanish , mandarin, private piano I dont think I could have ask for more- the academics is amazing and builds an excellent foundation for little ones - she has been reading books on her own since 4 years old and doing math on a first grade level. The field trips and special events are icing on the cake, the mother tea party and father feast. The little hands community includes super involved families and the most caring directors you will ever meet! If I had to do it all over again, I would choose little hands... As a matter of fact we just enrolled outer 9 month old there as well, we are so happy to be a part of the little hands family

My son never attended this school but I was in the process of enrolling him. Secured his spot by paying registration fee, curriculum fee, and activity fee which came up to 560.00. I talk to director Cathy about him starting after labor day. I was expecting an email that stated time and date of phone interview but instead got an email of them refunding my 560.00. They never stated why just stated something with the preliminary application. It would have been ethical to call the parent to say why you were not allowing my son into the school, after I paid to secure a spot. Told me to try for fall of 2020. I think not. Not the only preschool in Chicago area.

Hands down the best program for children...PERIOD!! I have searched high and low for a suitable facility for my two children and couldnt be more pleased with the curriculum, the music and fine arts and academics! Mrs. Griffin is amazing with the parents, staff and children. The entire staff is very patient with the students & very creative and innovative with their teaching practices. My kids never want to leave! While its not the cheapest facility out there it is not the most expensive, either. I have toured other preschools downtown who charge nearly twice as much and dont offer half the services and amenities that Little Hands Learning Center does. Bottom line: Little Hands Learning Center doesnt just meet my expectations...it EXCEEDS them.

This summer is bittersweet as my baby will be leaving behind a family that helped mold him into the intelligent, kind, nurturing, charismatic young man that he is today. After a year of searching for a school that would challenge our son and love him as we do and when I walked into Little Hands I literally fell in love. The state of the art equipment and advanced curriculum was only an added bonus to the genuine staff that closed the deal of sending Daylin here. These 4 years we have witnessed the immense growth of Daylins learning ability, speech, social interactions and overall maturity, for that we will always be grateful for Little Hands and recommend this school to anyone we may encounter in need of exactly what we were, an extended family!!!Tamika Watkins

Directors, teachers and staff are extraordinary, kind, considerate and make the kids excited about attending Little Hands Learning Center Academy. We have been to other preschools and none of them compare. LHLCA has set the bar that no other school has been able to reach (i.e. technology, accelerated programs, foreign language, etc.). They are light years ahead of all other preschools. The children grow so much due to the care and guidance provided by their highly trained staff. I noticed that the teachers regularly attend professional development and refresher training. And with the new addition of their Mobile App, all of the parents are never left out of the loop when it comes to communication. We are convinced the reason the children are doing so well is because of the education and care they received from LHLCA. Thank you Little Hands for your commitment and nurturing of all of the children you serve!

My daughter has been with Little Hands for the past two years and I am beyond impressed with this school. The curriculum is very advanced. The teachers are amazing. I am very proud of my daughters academic growth over the past two years. One thing I love about Little Hands is the children are exposed to a variety of topics and subject areas. For example, my daughter and I were watching TV one day and an actor was holding a magazine. My daughter said, Look Mommy it says Taj Mahal. I asked her what did she know about the Taj Mahal and she said, its a building in India! I was instantly stunned. My daughter was only 3 at the time!!! This is a testament of what the children are learning at Little Hands and their understanding of the curriculum.Another strength of Little Hands is the strong sense of community. When you walk into the school, you will instantly get a sense of love and family. Every teacher knows every students name. The parents are very friendly and welcoming. Never once have I felt uncomfortable or felt as if my child was unsafe at Little Hands. They foster an atmosphere of learning, trust, love, and respect.Overall, this is a wonderful school with wonderful teachers and a wonderful administration. I am really sad that my daughter has to transtion to a new school for Kindergarten in the fall. I am going to dearly miss Little Hands!!!
