Am I ever going to learn anything here. I have attended over ten course and was only able to take away good information from one class. I have not learned anything relevant to my current field and end up doing classes requiring assignments of my professional goals. Every time I complete a course like this I want to drop out. The only reason I dont is to get the useless piece of paper that goes with it.

I have been enrolled for a year now. It has been a great experience so far.The workload can often be heavy but it is about prioritizing and organizing yourself to succeed during the terms. The only thing I dont like is that the degree plan requires 180 credits. Luckly, i was able to transfer 74 credit from my previous university.

I have had a wonderful experience thus far, my advisors were great and very consistent. They answered all of my question and if they havent heard from me they reached out. I came from a school that was nationally accredited not Regionally that I received my Associate Degree from, Purdue Global took 83 of my credits and applied it to my bachelors degree I started September 22, 2021 and I graduate Aug 2023. I would have a few others friends that went here and they loved it I am glad that I made this step.

I got my Bachelors degree with Purdue in June and that was a fantastic experience so I went and enrolled for my Masters degree with them as well. BIG MISTAKE. I had my advisor changed within the first term and no one told me. Then I had my terms changed completely and that was never explained. My professor this term is rude and asking personal questions that are none of his business to ask. Horrible overall experience for this degree.

I cannot recommend Purdue Global. They dont go out of their way to maximize transfer credits. Their Bachelors program requires 180, and at most theyll give you 30% of that. This is because theyre a for-profit school whose mission is to maximize how much money they get from students and student loan debt.

Trying to finish my degree and it is nothing but teaching yourself, the lack of instruction has made it impossible to do my work and maintain a steady job at the same time. I go into each lesson having no idea what to do, and the seminars (lectures) do nothing to remedy this. I would not recommend this school. Go to a school that the workload and instruction will provide you the tools you need for success.Update For Reply:I have reached out on several occasions, I fill out each of the surveys and contacted the team below. I have not seen a change since I started, I will soon be done and will not be responsible for the recommendation of this to prospective students

I would give zero stars if I could. The professors (most but not all) are terrible and don’t actually teach. They do the bare minimum and expect you to pass. The seminars don’t go into detail about the topics and they seem to just read word for word what’s in the book without explaining. But the worst part is the advisors. Before enrolling I specifically asked if my financial aid and student loans that I would be receiving will cover me all the way through (because a major concern of mine and the reason I didn’t go to college right after high school was that I did not want to start, have loans that I would have to pay back and then not finish) and I was told that it would, my financial aid and student loans would cover my classes until I graduate. Well, 3 weeks into my 3rd term and I found out that this was very much not true. They wanted me to pay out of my pocket for the classes and since I could not afford it I had no choice but to withdrawal from the school. I never changed my degree I never switched classes or changed anything that would have affected the price I simply showed up to class and did what I was supposed to do as a student. The advisor even caught an attitude when I confronted her about the fact that she told me I would be covered, my advisor also keeps telling me I can have my parents take out a loan for me but 1 I was told I would be covered and 2 i am not in contact with my parents. So now I am in debt and without a degree. I highly recommend not enrolling in this school, save yourself from the headache.

I do not recommend this school at all! I talked to Natalia Bermudez at the beginning of August. I enrolled into the Medical Assisting program and went through the FAFSA process, my start date was August 25th. A few days before my start date, after I submitted my documents I found out that they were not going to process my documents in time and had to push my start date to September 22nd. I called today to make sure I was good to start on the 22nd and come to find out I wasnt enrolled this whole time! I wasted a WHOLE MONTH. Natalia Bermudez was also very hard to get into contact with. I am very upset because I was looking forward to starting.

Only do it if you really have to. In terms of classes, those are fine, but everything behind the scenes is SUCH a pain. I dont really feel that I learned anything. Financial aid office is never helpful. I feel like I had to work three times harder than necessary to do practically anything.Update: the lack of information given to students is terrible. They didnt send out any information regarding graduation, for instance, and now I cannot be involved in the ceremony. They expect students to go out of their way to get assistance and that is not how it should be at all. Also, if youre graduating, they will NOT stop harassing you about staying for their Masters program. I have declined politely via email three times and during two phone calls. Absolutely ridiculous.

7/01/2021 - Update:As requested, I contacted Student Relations, and I have to admit that I was wrong in my initial assessment of this organization.I am pleasantly surprised at how much they went out of their way to assist me in resolving this issue. Thank you!6/26/2021:I can confirm the previous review regarding their lack of support for credit transfers.I re-entered the school after a short break, and suddenly they take away 40 credits from my degree path!!! Because now I have to declare a focus area. 🤦🏻‍♂️So now, if I want to continue with them I have to pay another $15,000+ ...💸💸💸Its all about maximizing their profits...

I would probably give no star. Currently enrolled in program and have worst experience so far. I would not recommend this school for health care degree. Heavy work load and no input from instructor. No instructions how to study just doing weekly seminars and finishing their job you have to study everything by your own. If follow up with instructor about the study guide no appropriate response received even though they reply within Time. Please choose another school for your best future. I did big mistake by choosing this school. Overall bad experience.

I started going to Purdue as a Military Student in 2009. as I enrolled I was looking at 110 of 180 credits through the advanced start program. Things were looking pretty good until I went overseas to Japan. I had to take some leave of absences due top military mission and they were accommodating with all that until I would try to return. Each time I returned from a leave of absence my degree plan would have to be changed and always resulted unfavorable for me. Fast forward to my most recent attempt to return after nearly 2 and a half years (non-consecutive) of classes taken, I am somehow sitting at 98 of 180 credits. After speaking with 2 different advisors and being promised that it would be looked into I have yet to receive any reasonable explanation on how a student can be in school with a 3.9 GPA and have fewer credits than when initially enrolled. At this rate, I could probably graduate from another school sooner just by transferring credits. what a waste of time and gross disregard for military service. I dont recommend this school if to anyone unless you feel like wasting money and taking the most inefficient route toward a degree. Good bye Kaplan, Purdue, or whatever name youll assume next time people catch on to this BS.

Please save your time and energy. Immediately the school did not want to take the credit hours I wanted to take and as allowed by their own policy. Then, a professor refused to grant me credit for an assignment. I tried for 4 weeks to resolve the issue with technical support, the dean, and the owner of the technology. They never resolved the issue. Do not attend this school.

I switched from UCF to PG to finish my Bachelors degree in BA. Ever since I enrolled I was guided the whole way by my advisor and admissions counselor. I am in constant communication with my professors about questions and assignments, and I feel more supported in general than I ever did at UCF. I’m so glad I switched!Side note: I had to retake accounting since I didn’t make the cut at UCF, so I did have a class I could compare both educations systems to, and I was learning the same material, doing mostly the same activities, and putting in the same, if not more, effort into my assignments.

Do not give them your business. We were dropped from classing for not signing up for classes when we did not need financial aid. We were paying in full each month. Dropped when we had a $0 balance. All they want is your financial aid to tack on fees and interest. Not a company with good morals.

Straight A student. Finished bachelors with kaplan before purdue bought over. Finishing masters program, got extremely sick. The professor said to provide doctors notes, etcAnd he would be willing to allow work to be turned in after course finished. The teacher never followed through, missed work for a month, after providing all documentation and asking the professor what to do, pursue dropped the course and gave a failing grade. I expected more from purdue global. After all the money I have spent and the hours in course work, they literally just through an amazing student to the side without a care. Currently having to fill out an appeal form so I can just finish the program.... I honestly hate the fact I have to return to this school after seeing the way they treat long term alumni students and ontop of that a straight a student. Very disappointing, my advice would be to find another school

I was suppose to have been enrolled at Kaplan University as an online student back in 2006. My sister worked at the Kaplan University at the time and had brought the online school program at Kaplan University to my attention. I was signed up through her! I followed what I was told to do in terms of utilizing this online school program through use of my computer system at home. On the first night of my online course I was successful at logging into the class. The second time I attempted to login , I was unsuccessful and the third time an email from the online instructor had wrote me to say that she removed me from the online course as she felt that I did not benefit from it! Kaplan University charged me for attending this school for the whole school year without my authorization as I did not request the online instructor to remove me from the course of study! Therefore, the school did not notify the financial aid department upon removing me from the online school program as a student and I received nothing in reference about the school ever. I do not recommend Kaplan University!!!!

I studied at Kaplan University. Purdue University is exactly the same University with a different name but they dont recognize my credits from Kaplan. I had been trying to find a way to get my transcripts from Kaplan and it is a lot of obstacles. I consider this entire system a scam. I feel disappointed and frustrated since my student loans appears now under Purdue University. I didnt studied there. I havent credits from Purdue University. They changed their name to avoid complaints for their high tuitions. They initially said that the University was sold to Purdue University, now appears to be the same administration. The Department of Education, DOD, and The Department of Veterans Affairs must be aware of their fraudulent activities.

I WILL NOT THIS SCHOOL UNLESS THEY CAN SHOW THEY ARE ACCREDITED. So, Purdue University Global is really Kaplan. I been told by several people, while in their euphoric state speaking to me about their new college (as they should be) how much their tuition was for simple medical programs. Like $35,000.00 for a job that was going to pay them maybe $11-$13/hr. I felt awful. I wanted to tell them reach higher, but some were already in their Kaplan scrubs. Broward College would have been a good start for her base classes. They probably cost less. Because I didnt know if they had a nursing program there, I didnt tell them to go there, but I was adamant about letting her know that I was sure she was paying too much for her classes. McFadder had a nursing program, and so does Florida Atlantic University. Nowadays just because something cost more it must be better. We have to get that slightly quicker education so we can live shorter. No. Turn around go down the rabbit hole if you are going to, or dont and fall down the trap door. We all are in the ocean trying to keep our heads above water.-jcbegoodCollege may not be for everyone, but I encourage anyone who want go to go. Go to college within your means, because it is not a joke. Know whether the course you are taking is worth the money you are paying and/or borrowing, and will be paying for as soon as you finish your do iundergrad. I am choosing to continue college, but Purdue said they were offering grants. GRANTS! For how much? I dont know, but they sucked me in, and ALL of your comments saved me. THANK YOU!-jcbegood B-)

This was once Kaplan University, doesn’t matter still a crappy place to go, if you choose an online program make sure it is not from here. The instructors were fairly on point I did have one of two idiots though. For example, I had one instructor for a science course who when I started discussing physics she did not understand the concepts and admitted to it! She was also no help in explaining instructions or assisting in a viable manner, which messed up my final grade and perfect 4.0. I had another instructor who when teaching the virtual seminar stopped talking when her phone went off (there was a text beep heard in the background) of course Kaplan/Perdue has eliminated most of these virtual craps but there are times (inconvenient ones) in which you must drag yourself too. Otherwise you may incur the wrath of the professor. If the Academic department is inept with dealing with complaints for issues with instructors that I have aforementioned. The academic department cannot tell you in any detail what benefits or dates to join any of the many honor societies you may qualify to join in a timely manner. Why? Because these people would not qualify for an honor society if it hit them in them square in the chest with a golden ticket to that said honor society. Then you have the Financial aid department adding to the chaos with their stupidity. During my time at Perdue/Kaplan these idiots decide in my last week of attendance, meaning last class of my degree program and in the final week to tamper with my loans and try to block me from class. Block. Me. From. Class. In. MY LAST WEEK! These scholars adjusted my loans and sent back a small portion back to the Department of education (under $500) in their due diligence they then decided to send me to student accounts to “pay for the balance” otherwise I would be blocked from attending my last week and turning in my final assignment. Nice!I am not sure who is in charge in Florida yes Florida not Chicago or Indiana should be fired, because over the years I have been at Perdue/Kaplan nothing has changed. Only thing that has changed is the name the structure the people in charge nothing has changed this University still plods onward like a dinosaur waiting for a meteor to put it out of its misery. This University is still going because it has financial backing for one source or another and it will not change until people get smart enough and go elsewhere for their education.
