Went to get a birth certificate. Line was long but moved quickly. Took about 1 hour. Service was great. Employee was very nice. Sheriff deputy was great.

For it being one of the citys landmarks note a must see! More than courtious in giving out accurate direction to other important location. Above and beyond in assisting the disabled with what ever is needed

I visited the Dept of Revenue to get my window sticker. I received exceptional customer service. I decided to go downtown after I stopped at 95th & Jeffrey to met by a room full of disgruntled customers who felt the service was slow and next to none. The man who waited on us had the worst customer service skills Id ever experienced. This location should be closed for business until they hire some people who want to work and realize they are in a customer service job. Never again will I stop at 95th Street.

Birth certificate office now.. Get there before or around 11:30. Allllllllllll the employees go to lunch at the same time 🤣 😂 😆

I love the way they treat senior citizens and people with disabilities both employees were great

They really should make an express lane for people with disabilities , nice that we got to sit down but issues with oxegan and elderly they should let those people go first no matter what shame on the ones in charge

Rating is due to the slow service to have them answer your attempts at a permit let alone the inspection to start work on our driveway. We started work because one county says were good. So its a mess- the driveway is all rubble and grates right now because we need another inspection. Oh, did I mention we need the permission of two counties because our house lies on two zones?! Once the inspection by Leyden Township was done (inspector merely drove past our property) he made up parameters of how the driveway should be! Oh it should be three feet deep to this many feet wide. Etc, etc... Even tho the contractor has had over 20 years experience and the neighboring county knows and trusts him. But Leyden Township will pull your strings and have you jumping through hoops because they think theyre funny and cute.

I went to get my window sticker. Service was great and the lines wer not long. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Hot on the inside, slow Customer service. They need more employees. The officers that work there are friendly and helpful.

Social distance and mask are required. The line was long on the day I went and only two services clerk available in the line I needed service. My business was complete when I finished.

I received great service during my visit. They maintain good social distancing and great safety precautions.

My fiance and I were there to finish the process for our marriage license and it was super quick and easy! For those of you looking to marry your person make sure you start the application online first and theyll have you come in and make sure everything is correct and you pay for everything right then and there as well!

The cook county building and the city hall are the same building. Its really beautiful, built in a time when they used a lot of stone and brass. There are a lot of details in the building that make it stand out.

The old building is looking more n more classic as time goes on. Lobby staff were friendly and helpful and in the tax redemptions area from the security to the people that look up the amount all did a fine job and are helpful n friendly.

These people never answer their phone! The only way to contact them is to go in person. It is already a headache to drive and park in the city, and getting awful customer service at my destination was not helpful at all. The guy who I spoke to at cook county assumed right away that I was in the wrong place for my building permit and treated me as if I was an inconvenience to him. Yes, I was in the wrong place, but if they had just answered their phone then I wouldnt have been. I hope to never have to go back!

Building number 4 Super racist against people that are not african american. I came here with my sister and took a number which was useless since the lady that was gonna call us said step up in a very mean way even though it was not our turn! We come up and she still gave us a mean look and directed toward us with attitude when we were nice all along.We had all of our paper work and before checking our paper work assumed that the payment increased and was about to send us back to order another paper which did not increase since the paper said it would not until next month. After that she even asked a man if he would take the payment even though that was not a question to be discussed since everything was right!People talk about racism all the time and sadly the people who work for the city act racist toward people that are not the same race as them, how sad. The only nice one was the security lady just fyi.
