This is a great school,my son goes there, and it changed our life, he has autism, now he talks more, no behavior problems like he use to have ,no more tantrums, he more independent in his Evey day life , this school is a miracle place, I love the teachers and staff they care very deeply for these kids, thank God for Childrens Guild.

I went here during the 90’s. They have bad restraints and seclusion practices.

I truly miss this school. So many memories.

Do not send your child here. This school is not safe and the focus is not on helping the children. The turnover rate is over 90% and the administration has changed over three times in 3 years due to leadership issues. School lunch is inadequate and one to one employees are inexperienced and underpaid. The school was on probation due to safety issues discovered on unscheduled visits by dc and msde and for a period of time no children were referred to the school. The school has faced closure more than once and only avoided it by employing intense interventions for short periods of time to get off of probation. staff are treated extremely poorly and do not even receive lunch breaks. turnover affects services given and many kids were behind in receiving their iep services. stress levels are high and it is a negative environment for children who already go through so much.

I graduated from The Childrens Guild Chillum in 2013 & I Rode K42/K43 Bus 1264 in Aug 25 2011-June 8 2012 & I rode K43 Bus 1250 in July 12-28 2011 & I rode K42/K43 Bus 1264 in Aug 27 2012- June 4 2013. I go to The Harbour School in 2013-2020.

I like my new school so much it is fun and i made new friends their names Pernell, Titus, Korrine, Aaliyah, and Wesley. And my teacher name is Ms wottorson Mr Ward and Ms Layman. And im in this class autsim center 6. When we are walking to the bathroom the teacher saids be quiet in the hallways.

I been to this school before do not send your child here send your child to a residential school.
