I’ve trained at a different gym long time ago and honestly have been looking for a good school to get back to it. My friend recommended this bjj school to me and as of right now I couldn’t be happier, everyone there is so helpful and patient to teach you the owner is such wonderful person as are all his black belts they have. I just got my brother to join up with me too. I definitely recommend this school if you wanna learn the art of Brazilian jiu jitsu.

My favorite aspect of this place in all honesty is the fact that at every corner of a gym there is going to be a teacher waiting for you. Everybody will help and will teach you and it’s honestly one of if not the most positive place I have ever been to. If you want to build character and strengthen your personal fitness this is the place to go.

Very welcoming environment with great instructors that care about their students! Everyone is super friendly here. Sean loves helping students with any questions they may have about a technique or an issue they come across while sparring.The vibe here is very chill, filled mostly with hobbyists looking to challenge themselves with a tournament every now and then. More and more women have been signing up recently, but the men here are also very careful with watching their pressure when sparring with a person much smaller than them. The instructors here dont put up with bullies. The kids are also crazy good!! So, I have no issue with finding great training partners!

The head instructor, Sean Roberts, is an excellent teacher and he makes training fun and challenging at the same time. I cant say enough about Sektor. I love the professors, the people I train with, the facility, the vibe- I love it all. I am new to BJJ. I started 2 months ago. As a women joining a male dominant sport, I was extremely nervous; but from the moment I stepped into this gym they made me feel welcomed. Now my teenage daughter and son train here as well and its become a family bonding experience. Youre also never too old to start Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Im in my mid-40s and its an excellent workout. If youre considering joining, join! But I warn you, its addicting!

Ive been training here for just about a month and everyone has been so welcoming.The instructors are super helpful and you can tell they truly care that you are understanding the movements and progressing.Laura at the front desk got me set up in just a few minutes.Im excited that I found Sean and Jackson at Sektor Jiu Jitsu.

Great detailed instructors. You dont get lost in the crowd. Very family oriented and friendly environment. Lots of different belt levels and body types to train with.

This place is amazing. My 6 year old son is so happy here because the coaches are so involved and pay great attention to detail. The teaching style of both Coach Sean and Coach Gabriel is the best my son has experienced and they both blend play, professionalism, and learning perfectly. Very welcoming environment and super clean gym too.

I was late to the game, starting Bjj in my late 30’s. But joining Ralph Gracie Chino Hills has been awesome. Great instructors & training partners. The techniques are top notch & it’s great to see everyone improving daily including me😊. If you’re on the fence, definitely give them a try.

Ive been training for a few years now at Sektor JJ under Sean Roberts and Gabriel Costa. This place has become like my second home. Both instructors are amazing and have such an incredible depth of knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu. This place offers something for everyone, whether youre looking to compete or more laid back. You can always find great training partners. Because of this school Jiu-Jitsu has really become a way of life for me. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for the highest quality training. This is the best place in the Inland Empore without a doubt.

First of all, I have to say a huge thank you to Sean and his mom Laura! My son used attend jiu jitsu here back when it was Ralph Gracie. I recently contacted Laura to see if they could do a self defense class for a group of girls on my daughters softball team, a handful of which are heading off to college over the next few weeks. She and Sean were able to set up a class for us and it was absolutely awesome! Sean provided the girls with some great self defense moves. They came away so much more confident and us parents feel much better sending them off knowing that they are able to defend themselves if they ever need to. Thank you Sean and Laura!

Best place to train with great instructors!

I trained at Sektor JJ for a year. I moved out of state and unfortunately had to leave to another school. But this is a special group of people. Everybody is super nice and skillful.Professor Sean Roberts is funny, sometimes goofy, but his bjj IQ is off the charts and to this day I my skills come from things I learned from him.Professor Gabriel Costa is super nice, he makes sure you understand the fundamentals.Laura is great and she always makes sure people feel welcomed.Whether you plan to compete; train regularly to be in good shape or find a bjj school for kids, Id recommend Sektor any day.

This is my favorite place to drop in and train some BJJ when I am in Chino Hills. The have a great clean place and the technique that is taught there is amazing. They have 3 black belts on the mat all the time and a lot of brown and purples too.

Top notch training in the Chino and IE area. Sean Roberts is a top black belt and a master of technique. Whats really cool though is the family environment and how welcome they make you feel. if you want to learn jiu jitsu, mma or general martial arts. This is definitely the place to be!

What a great place not just to learn jiu jitsu, but to make friends. Everyone here is kind and warm to each other. The training is high level, and the teachers adopt to everyone style and body type of each person, allowing jiu jitsu to be a personal process of each person. So glad and proud to train here. Ossss!
