Wow! They had ALL the checkers going all at once trying to get us all in and out in a timely manner. KUDOS to you beautiful people manning those registers. Lines were way down the isles to the freezers and yet it all went smoothly. And if Im being honest I can be a rip roaring witch if forced to wait but watching these women frantically working to get us all through the lines was humbling at best. They were polite, store was well stocked and everyone was friendly as could be. Ten stars. An dont act like you dont shop here cuz we all do.....even the rich & famous. Love ya all!!

Whenever I visit any .99¢ Cents Only Store I make My List of items I need and know they carry. From there, I always leave with at least double the items. Recently I have purchased more food items which I have discovered are great deals.These include snack items, chips, trail mix, soda, juices, ice cream (Dove & Dryers brands ~ Yum!), granola bars, Bakery items, fresh fruits & vegetables, canned goods, a wide variety of frozen foods, lunch meats & dairy products.I completed about 80% of My biweekly grocery shopping and only had to go to one other store for some brand name items that I prefer.But let Me mention to You, the seasonal items they carry.They now have their Valentines things out and I can say for a fact that pretty much Anything You need related to Valentines Day, they carry it.I even saw a few Easter things, which Im sure multiply by the time Easter is here.Lastly, I wanted to mention some of My higher end finds.Sheets, comforters & blankets, decorative pillows, battery operated callous remover, lava lamp and a unisex, cordless, unwanted hair removal kit.Can You believe that?I was not only pleasantly surprised by the finds but the prices were Amazing as well.Happy Shopping ♥️

Didnt have Cherry Jello cups but the aisles were filled with boxes and more boxes for items to go on already full shelves. Well stocked store compared to other stores Ive been to recently.

Good deals found here. As you would expect a very clean and organized new store. Very abundant in items. Nice frozen food section and complete wall of canned food items. There is no customer service or any greeting which I found surprising. Items were not bagged correctly (i.e., food items with car airfreshner) but I do see that with a little more ongoing training the new staff will improve this stores rating over time. Customer service is important to make a customer comeback over and over.

Great place to pick up sparkling water other items that you need. Word to the wise come early or come late that way you will avoid the crowds.

The cashier are very rude there is no cart for costumer to shop in the front of the store. I guess that is the compensation for been a sharp store sad.

Horrible customer service I will never go to that place again it felt like they just spit in my face the manager was unruly and I left with a bad taste in my mouth never again well I stopped at that location horrible.

This place is crazy. The shoppers become zombies and the employees have one speed XTRA SLOW. IF YOU WANT A DEAL THIS IS THE PLACE. There are always treasures to be found and for he price it cant be beat!

The manager Alexis is rude. The inventory in the back is stacked in a ridiculous manner preventing passage, I have no idea how it would be possible to inventory. The fridge for overstock smells disgusting. This place should be shut down. I wouldnt buy anything fresh from this store. And it blows my mind that someone like Alexis would be put in a position of responsibility.

You can always find something in this store. Cleaning supplies, party supplies, school supplies, toiletries, kitchenware, seasonal items, snacks, produce, etc., etc. Best of all, cheap! The location found best stocked, organized and cleaned (one being best and last being worst) is National City, Chula Vista, San Ysidro and Imperial Beach. Staff at all stores visited wasb helpful and theyre all working hard. Masks are required to shop in-store and hand sanitizer is also available upon entry. Usually a person at the entrace monitors in and out shoppers to comply with COVID capacity regulation. Occasionally Ive had to wait in line to enter but not often. Early evening is my usual shopping time there and is not too bad. I avoid early hours because Ive seen lines and theyre too long. Check their website for early bird hours for seniors only.

The store has name brands and unfamiliar brands from cleaning, personal products & ect... . For food it has a selection of vegetables & dried goods. The shelves are just the right size for the average person to see what is on the top shelf.

This store has a lot of the stuff at an extremely inexpensive price, notwithstanding you should still know your prices of the items you choose. Some stores will sell them for a few pennies less. So if youre counting pennies be cautious.

Great prices on some daily use items. Sometimes messy. Now, usually a long wait to get in then to pay also.

This store has everything but gets pretty busy. The past couple times I came the cashier let ppl just cut in line while I was waiting for about 20 minutes! Please take care of your customers in the order they get in line, thanks.

I love the Area of this 99 cent store. A lot of Car park. They constantly appear to have adequate cashiers when its active. You never ever feel like your below too long. I have actually constantly been obtained like aristocracy here not one trouble ever before. Absolutely the finest 99 cent shop in all of San Diego.

I love this store everything you need and more.

Its a spacious .99 cent only store and they do a great job of keeping the isles organized and clean.Always great deals to be found. I didnt give them 5 stars because my biggest gripe is that more often than not they dont have sufficient cashiers and the line to pay is long.Their parking lot is a bit cramped, but eventually i always find parking. A good go to spot for seasonal items and the random things you do not need to pay more than a dollar for.

This is a good, big and busy 99 cent store. Very close to my house, tends to be clean all the time. They have a great selection of things and items. They switch things up and move things around which is good. I really like two cashiers , I dont know there name . But one is pregnant African American lady and Chinese or Lao girl, I think. All the cashiers here are polite and courteous, the security guard is nice also. But those two cashiers named had went out of there way for me. But overall I like this 99 cent store, its like the one in El cajon off greenfield Dr. These two are my favorite.

Rude Mexican employees. Military families, stay clear! Very hateful and unprofessional. A cashier told a woman in front of me to come to her check out line. I speak Spanish and I am studying the culture. You have no idea that you are being filmed. A man moving merchandise in this store nearly ran over me. Are they looking for an incident or a confrontation??? These people are here in the United States and are seeking a better life. I will not tolerate this. I will complain until I have satisfaction for all non-Mexican customers. I am contacting the corporate offices right now!!!

I genuinely do love this store, Ive been shopping here since it opened but Ive noticed a drop in products being offered, especially in the beauty department. They used to offer a high variety of beauty products. Now Im lucky to find a decent brush that isnt damaged. I still shop here but I might end up switching to a different location.

This is s very clean and well kept store compared to all the others in the chain. This location is the only one Im willing to buy produce at due to the higher quality. Other 99 cent store locations have rotting produce that I wouldnt even feed to a dog.

Prices are getting to high. And its always a mess

Love to buy my fruit, ie. Blue barries, strawberries, ras berries there because the are typically half what the super markets charge. Store stacks boxes of products in aisles that are already too crowded. Clerks are friendly but very busy. Take your own bags or pay for plastic.Use cash, not credit cards to save.

This is the best 99 cent store Ive been to. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, bagged salads frozen foods. Store is well stocked so you can expect to find items that are in stock regularly. Shortest lines of all the 99 cent stores!

The lines on the checkout counter are long. 99 cent stores are selling items at far greater prices but the products they sell are more varied then it use to be. Bananas were 49 cents a pound. Went to the store hoping to find some Teflon tape to hook up a gas line to a stove. The tape wasnt available at this time. It isnt just 99 cents anymore. It is the best bargain around if you dont mind standing in line to checkout, lol.

Shop here at least once a week, I use a basket not a cart for ease. I usually leave my items in the basket to save space in the check out line and ease for the cashier but today this rude cashier insisted that I take all my items out, was it to hard for her to reach in the basket? I dont know, ,,,,,she seemed very capable. Unfortunately I dont remember her name or maybe it just wasnt worth remembering. Next time Ill shop somewhere else. Plus the name 99 cent store is false advertising. Its a regular store with regular pricing.

Love this place. But customer service has to be faster. I know people have a cart full of stuff, but you guys should find a solution for the slow line. Either add more cashier, a self service checkout like Walmart does. But, as of 7/11/2020: things are just too slow

This store has everything from christmas decor to groceries. Went in looking for ideas for my christmas sweater and left with bread, some curtains, napkins and some extra crafts for my kids. The four stars are for customer service, its a busy time of year and they only had 5 checkouts open.

Employees are extremely rude. One of them nearly ran me over with a huge crate. He was too busy flirting with his coworker and not paying any attention to what he was doing. I told him to be more careful and he copped an attitude. No apology, nothing. Im a disabled woman, not an acrobat and I shouldnt have to jump out of the way every time some oversexed employee needs to move inventory from A to B. I will not return to this store.

I just love this store, tops for everything you can think of, I even found lactose free milk, the fruit and vegetables are fresh and great price. Customer service is magnificent.

Very misleading. I think that everything there must be $1.00 or less. I found a bow and arrow for, you would think $1, but no $2. And I found a Zuru X-Shot gun, and again you would think it is $1, but it is $5. But on the good side, there is actually tons of good stuff like, but not limited to, Cotton Candy, White Fudge coated pretzels, rice krispies and pop up toast candies.

Great selection, always great value. Feel like Ive won Everytime I leave and usually spend more than I wanted to.

Its always well stocked up...But the lines to pay get super long that they wind up in the isles where people are shopping and your in each others way😑

The best 99 cent store i’ve been in, and trust me i’ve been in a lot. They have really good products for a good deal. They have some name brand stuff and really great toys, room decor, cleaning supplies, school supplies and foooood :)

On my way home from work I decided to stopped by at the 3rd ave, Chula Vista location and it happened to be closing few mins before I got there. I didnt realize it until after the manager on duty Yvette was yelling that they are closing. I was near the soda isle and I said oh let me just grab a soda. She said no !and I was grabbing one anyways and she said you lucky Im still going to charge you and I just told you no! At this point my blood was boiling because regardless what the circumstances are you do not speak to customers like that. Remember you paycheck are the customers coz without them you wouldnt be working. Without customers company wouldnt be making money. I felt like I was treated like a damn child. I cant stand rude employees, rude people period!
