Ms.T taught me a lot and I appreciate her so much. Progressive school is about patient and learning much has you can. It’s all mental can’t be weak coming to school gotta have a strong mind and ready to go. Be patient with them and learn. It’s not a race take your time. Thank you progressive 🙏🏽

Happy I went here. Overall decent school but Needs improvement(instructors/trucks). Some Trucks needs major improvement at the very least, mechanically. There are a couple of instructors that are very good on the road such as Dennis which is patient and knowledgeable on how to teach which is important when you’re instructing students. He’s not the only one. So I thank him and the others that take the time to actually instruct.

Facility is clean, personnel is friendly. If you get nauseous with the cigarettes smell just be advice some instructors do smoke while training you.Also it is up to you how long you take to graduate. It took me roughly two months to graduate. Make sure you find your self a crew of people who want to graduate and push each other. Do not stand around and just talk and have fun or you’ll be here up to you a year

Since i have been attending, the school changed instructors to those that are very knowledgeable and hands on. Tom and Mack are great additions to the program. All the instructors have their own way of teaching, but if you take a little from all, you will be find. I highly recommend joining Progressive, you will not be disappointed.

Over all good school. The whole team is very helpful and knowledgeable. The more you put into this course is how fast you graduate. Very pleased i came here and the outcome.

Progressive is a great trucking school!! All the teachers are super motivated. They are here to help you pass . Super friendly and all around a great school!!

Listen to the instructors and you will be just fine.Also loved the fact that you could come in on a Saturday and practice on whatever you need help with. They also have a variety of inventory trucks new ones and old ones so you will learn how to drive and both of them.

If you take the time to put in your part, listen to the instructors and apply what they say, you will do just fine.I got my CDL and was hired immediately by Werner. Now after finishing their training for new hires, Im making a good living.My thanks to everyone over at Progressive.

This was a wonderful success towards my biggest goal in life the teachers here will push you to be the best you can be stay focus and take the training do not give up the teachers will make you very angry very angry but that’s just to make you better I came in not knowing anything it took me two weeks to learn the whole truck, Reginald foot is a big role model in my life, Tom is a bigger role model in life just from hearing his story about how he started, the stories he gone to tell you about trucking when he never had a CDL license how he started you have to go to the school to hear the story don’t give up don’t give up ON YOUR BIGGEST GOAL ........... this is Tom

This was pretty good school. Some of the instructors sucked, but majority of them were really good. Would recommend to future students. Just watch out there are some heavy smoking instructors when driving the trucks.

Overall experience was overwhelming the first 2 weeks but after getting to know the instructors and staff they made things much easier and hard at times but luckily they give u the time to show and tell what u need to know to get out there and drive those trucks. Would recommend for future family and friends.. Good luck!

Pretty good school for the most part they will get you ready for test day. My only problem was that some practice trucks need to be work on as the instructors but for the most part pretty good school that will help you pass!

Good instructors at this school- Jerry the driving instructor was very safety focused and I’ll remember his words about the “oh shit” moments I’ll have working. López was my skills guy and he helped me nail that part of the testing which I was worried about. The trucks were pretty beat up though

Stay away from this place,not enough instructors for all the people who go there get their CDL. They will make you waste your own time.

Marta, Ewelina, Mac, Lee, Lopez, Mark, Dennis, Jerry, Tom, and Bob you guys really push your students through this program I can really say every dime was worth it. Every one take your time and listen as well as memorizing the pre-trip. Keep all hints to yourself do not ruin it for next person in passing.

Great school recommended to everyone getting their license great instructor they do help alot with skills and driving. Tom and lee helped me alot thru pre trip, lopez and jerry help me alot with downshifting and upshifting. Mack helped alot with skills when i needed the help. I recomend this school to everyone!!!

This is a very good school! The instructors were very helpful. Mr. López especially, he helped me step by step an I was able to complete the exam regardless of being under a lot of pressure.

The instructors are there to help you. One thing I learned here beside learning how to drive a semi is that everyone has different ways to teach you here and are not robots. They will break down everything you need to know about the truck you will drive in the near future. Some instructors do tend to smoke inside of the tractor but besides that this school really is good. Sometimes they might not have you on schedule to drive but that’s more time to get in and do your pre trip.

Progressive is a great school to get your CDL. As long as you listen to all your instructors and put in your part, you will succeed. I appreciate Mark the road instructor for always motivating me and giving me great advice on what to do in the road. Shout out to Tom the pre trip instructor for always teaching the pre trip well and shows you why doing the pre trip plays an important role in trucking. Tom is the big reason why I understand the pre trip properly and he makes sure you succeed in pre trip.

I had a great experience with this school first I’m going to start with Jerry he always told me to feel the truck then Mark let me make mistakes then showed me what I did wrong Tom beat me up side my head with the pre-Trip and Mack had me ready for Skill’s this is a very great school and I highly recommend it to anyone!!!!!

I was a student and the instructors were terrible, but the manager was even worse... she told me that the only way i can pay my balance was in cash payments only!! several employees told me that was a false statement because they accept checks and credit cards, now i’m attending 160 driving academy and i wish this school was my first choice!!!!

Great fast paced program. If you decide to go, definitely put in the effort to get through it and get your CDL. Instructors are great and take the time to teach you. But ultimately it’s up to you. Definitely recommend if you you want to make money or have it for a back up.

The Director Ewelina was professional and encouraging. She is also very sweet. The skills instructor Reggie an excellent teacher. He has an effective way of teaching students how to navigate the truck. Mark is a very good road skills instructor. He has helped me with my shifting so much. I am grateful to my skills instructors and happy with my experience.

The experience I had at this place was amazing. Although I feel it can be a little bit better in captivity size. The staff is excellent here as well as the utilities they allow you to use. Majority of everything is hands on activities. So therefore I highly recommend Progressive Driving School.

They did what they said they were going to do, and that was to help me get my class A CDL. Which I did get but unfortunately not on time due to the COVID-19, nothing related to the school though.

My experience was for most part was okay. But I felt like I should’ve received some more training on skills. Driving instructors was okay and admission advisors are pretty nice.

I did not know what to expect but I went in with an open mind. I meet great instructors who actually cared about my experience there. I recommend going the the Cicero location, you will be in great hands. Look for Ricardo he is the Class instructor, great teacher with a great personality. Regi over on skills knows all the tricks, listen to the man trust me. Like Mr. Ricardo always says In this business you have to be willing to suffer. Anyway he has taught me that in order for me to be successful I have to be the 007 in everything that I do.

All I can say is they picked the right name for this school. I made progress from day one and didn’t stop. The instructors are wonderful, The patience they have with students is amazing!! You absolutely can’t fail at Progressive unless you are dishonest with yourself when you said “this is what you want”. I’m so glad I chose progressive!!!

I enjoyed my time in progressive. Adam is a good teacher really shows you how to get the class room part down packed. Cicero progressive is good school to attend. Takes hard work of your own as well. But they were there to help me in many ways.

I had some challenges with my driving where I needed extra practice to pass my road tests. Progressive was very accommodating in scheduling the extra time I needed to improve my driving skills. My instructors Steve and Lee put a lot of effort in helping me to improve my skill levels.

One of the better trucks driving school I havent seen. Good Intructors, staffs. Every body works on their best to provide real professional drivers They provide job placement. Really friendly.I wasnt just at school, but in family too.

I came in very nervous and truck driving even though Ive always been a driver. Here at progressive everyone is very helpful very nice. Progressive school overall is a good school. If you come everyday or when you’re scheduled to come you’ll do just fine. Mind you nothing or no one is perfect but even this school but as long as you pay attention to the instructors and listen to what they have to tell you, all will go well! It’s NOT easy and you may not pass your test in the first try but that’s okay it took me twice for skills and road and as if today I’m DONE... COMPLETE!!!! Cdl driver here I come!
