I graduated from this school 5 years ago! I love the school. I have a amazing experience while I was there. I was taught so much. I feel I had amazing education while there. So much that I came back to work for the school. The students are very educated, and get lots of hands on practice. The services are amazing and you cant beat the price!

Eyelashes came off in less than 8 hours done by a student who told me she never did them before and no one was the to instruct her. I left with wet lashes and when I called them to tell them they fall off, there was nothing they could or would do. Horrible customer service

I stopped in for the first time to get a cut. A young lady named Katelyn Lacey did an excellent job on the cut. I loved that the instructor didnt stand over her shoulder but did the initial consultation with her and checked the cut throughout. They were both very professional and made the experience great enough that I will go back for other services. Thank you Katelyn and Kim!

UPDATE: my gel manicure is chipping after less than a week. If the teachers had been checking in I dont think this wild be a problem, but they didnt.I dont expect the best because these ladies and gentlemen are students and they were learning, however! The teachers are not really checking in on the students tho give them help! It took offer 1 and a half hours to get my nail polish off because the young lady just had never done it before and was never taught how. This is not her mistake but the fault of her teachers. My appointment was at 9:30 and I didnt leave till after 1:00. I only got a manicure and gel polish. I wont go back and suggest you not go. My girl was very sweet and I liked her a lot but am unimpressed by the entire thing.

The service today was horrible. A Caucasian girl work on my natural hair. She did not wash it right. She acted like she was scared to touch my hair and she dryed it with no moisturizer and flat iron it with no oil. I didnt realize it until it was over. My hair is so dry. They should not have had a white girl on a black woman hair, if she didnt know what to do.

I love going to the Empire Beauty School. I started going about 6 months ago. I have two awesome ladies that do my hair. Jessica Phillips and Abby are the best ones there. I wouldnt go to anyone else. I started there with long hair that was multi colors. Which Jessica and Abby took my multi colored hair and turned it into one beautiful color. I did cut all my hair off but I love it would never grow it back out and with the encouragement of Jessica and Abby I was able to cut my hair and become the person that I really am. Now I go there once a week to have my hair trimmed. Always have friendly staff but remember that Jessica and Abby are the best ones there. I also took my best friend and she went from yellow hair to a beautiful blonde with lowlights. The cut was done perfect. Thanks ladies!!

The student were nice, I did not like the pedicure, you cannot give a proper pedicure in a foot soak plastic tub.please invest in real pedicure chairs. I dont think the student get all the supplies they need.

The part I liked was Shannon washed my hair, while I was in my recliner wheelchair, with a tingling type of shampoo, rinsed it well then added the conditioner. However after leaving the shampoo bowl she noticed she hadnt rinsed away conditioner on the right side of my head. I backed up to the bowl again where she rinsed it away.The part I hated was her drying my tangled hair as she brushed it while wet. The top of my hair sizzled and hurt me when she flatironed it. I told her it was wet. She said, no, it was not. She helped me out to my bus, bringing my packages.When I got home, my aides and my husband asked if I had my ends clipped due to the shortened length of my hair that Shannon brushed fervently out!!! I did not ask for a hair trim.I suggest not brushing wet tangled black hair. I dont believe Ill be going back to empire anytime soon if at all!Wanda AndersonP.S. I have before and after pictures.

Great place for students to learn their craft, under supervision. As always students are STILL LEARNING.

Very bad communication! Called to ask about full highlites the same day, they tell me to arrive by 1pm. Arrived at 1240, they ask me to come back at 120 bc lunch. But they would be able to fit us in. Come back and now they cant do it?!! Poor communication & a very unorganized feel

This place is worthless. Mark my words do not get your hair cut here I was told by a student they tried to hide so they didnt have to cut my hair. Ghetto school ghetto mentality running it do not support this business. Plus its dirty hair everywhere counters dirty Id rather get my haircut from Freddy Kruger.

I most likely will never come back here... I was first to check in and everyone after me got called first... I arrived at 9 for a haircut... Its 10:15 as of now and Im seriously about to leave... Never again will I come here...
