Went to a catholic school for six years then I was sent straight here. Did not feel welcome the first few months. Got bullied a bit the first half of the year till the second half where I poured juice all over a kid and got detention. One of the best things I have ever done. 8th grade is going a lot better than my first year hear though.. . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It Is A PRISON

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Experience just TERRIBLE. There were kids vaping and teachers never noticed, kids getting bullied and teachers never noticed, kids cheating and much more. Most of the staff is mean and can not work with kids well. Nagel was the worst school I have ever been to in my life. I hated my experience here and DO NOT recommend this school at all. Im very happy to be home schooled now.

It has bad subs once I helped a group of partners and got in trouble because of a sub. And there have been reports of vaping in bathrooms, but so far I didnt spot any vaping in bathrooms. I got my Chromebook white-walled and got a website I needed for science blocked, and a website called edpuzzle for social studies had all its videos blocked, also one small website in language arts blocked. I honestly searched for a picture showing nagel middle school being bad but then i saw a image of the news that was honestly just really bad which says that a teacher had sex with a student, and I have certain links to google websites like a link from schoology to google forms. Also their celebrations suck you have to have some good grades which is reasonable but you have to NO MISSING ASSIGNMENTS I would be fine with a few missing assignments but you cant have any missing assignments so if you want to go to a celebration you have to work really hard to just go to one substitute. Overall nagel seems to blend together to make a pretty bad mix and it also has some pretty mean teachers like Mrs. ErvIn to top it off.

Looks like a prison. Feels like a prison. It is an unpleasant learning environment. They have good teachers at that school though.

I was a student at nagel middle school and I had a terrible time there. Even though I worked hard and studied harder, I could never get anything above a B. The teachers didnt like me either, and I was a good kid, I never got in trouble. Im just saying that I didnt like forest hills, this is my personal opinion though. If you like nagel, thats great. If you dont, thats ok. I have nothing against you if you like nagel.

Nagel has been great for our kids - they know 7th and 8th graders inside and out. While its a big school, they divide the grades into smaller teams, which helps a lot. Its a positive environment, and parents are very involved too. (At a recent internet safety program Nagel offered, the cafetorium was PACKED.) Finally, the orchestra, chorus and band programs are excellent.

My child came home crying every day because of mean kids and teachers being to hard on her. We will be switching school very soon
