Principal is biased of difference in any Color or Illness. Ran into a very distressed White Grandmother. Principal refused to allow her grandson to help with stage props or take part in any capacity. Young boy arrived home in tears and of course grandmother reached out to principal without success. She was crushed. Language Arts teachers comments to my grandson always start with What makes you think you are so different? He receives numerous Feathers (nice kid) from all of the teachers, including her! Parents asked for and received a meeting which included school psychologist and 4 other outsiders, parents and grandmother. Upon arrival this teacher was made it very obvious that she was Angry that she was asked to be their to discuss This students activities at White Oak. She was sullen, short and snappish when we asked her a question and when asked to clarify statements that she made that were vague. Kept looking at something and stating that she had a job to get back to We were of the assumption that meeting with the kids parents and other school personnel regarding students was her job. We assumed wrongly!..Arriving with Angry Language Arts teacher was Equally dismissive, annoyed guidance counselor who sat by language arts teacher representing their United Front against these interlopers that Dare question anything they do or not for While Oak students. Shouted at me as she left the room that If I have the time ill try to return his homework and tests in a couple of weeks, but I dont know if I will have the time!

I love Woms I am currently enrolled as a student. It is a great school with a great family.

This place is horrible and I have 2 more years and the agenda in the bathroom and the staff here is terrible when you lose the agenda you get a referol and they dont want you to learn and there so mean plus they need to make a better walkway. And the stairs they give me leg cramps when i finnaly get to the top I feel like i dont want to open the locker and they dont get to do field trips my opion is never go there

Son is in IP there none of the teachers seem to care. The past 2 IP teachers were rude and seemed like they were bothered by dealing with the parents. I was under the assumption that teachers wanted students involved with kids education. They show otherwise its like were bothering them to do their job. Past IP teacher was said to have a foul mouth a lot of obscene language. Seemed harder on son after we contacted her regarding anything. I have hopes for the new IP teacher my son seems to like them. If theres any more negative bias against my son such as over punished for minor offense. New IP teacher seems different last one seemed more involved with planning her wedding. New teacher goes day by day and rewards good days. That makes them want to behave better and with the new IP teacher hes been behaving better. The past IP teacher was supposedly promoted I hope not for all our kids future. As far as Im concerned Struble elementary is the best school care about students and encourage parents to participate.

If you are thinking about coming to this school Dont come because the principle aka Mr.gale does not like kids and the staff is terrible and not to mention they are racist.
