I have been taking kickboxing at Sekai for over 2 years and love it. Not only am I in better shape, I feel I can defend myself as well. There are both adult and kid classes. My 2.5 year old son takes a class and looks forward to it every Saturday. Maria Brandt is an excellent instructor because she is patient as well as a good motivator (and not to mention a world champion).

After years of procrastination and wrestling with the idea of studying martial arts,I finally walked into Sekai and signed up for lessons. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The classes have challenged me both physically and mentally. I strongly encourage anyone on a similar journey to come in and give it a try!

Sekai is a terrific martial arts school! Both my five year old son and I have been enjoying our classes, gaining new skills and confidence, and making new friends in the community. Plus, we are very fortunate to have a renown world champion instructor teaching in our community! Kyoshi has incredible experience and a natural ability to train all ages and levels.

We love Sakai. My son has been going there for about a year now & loves it. Hes grown quite a bit. Kyoshi is wonderful with the kids & I love how she focuses on character development. I highly recommend it.

The instructors are really great, and my son, who started when he turned 4 and is now 5.5, loves it. They teach discipline, focus, respect and so many core values that transcend karate. He loves what hes learning in karate.

My 11 year old daughter has been participating here for over a year now. I have seen tremendous improvements inside and outside of the dojo. GREAT PLACE for people of all ages!
