I go to this chain store a lot- especially for birthday supplies, bags etc. I had the nicest man, Michael as my cashier. He was so polite, and we had a wonderful conversation. This man needs a raise. It’s just nice to have someone that interacts with you like he did, thanks Michael!

Old man at the register was rude and annoying. We told him no bag and he still put our items in a bag. Didn’t greet us at the register or tell to have a good day. Not a friendly place at all won’t be going back.

I walked into this store at 9:30 am the place was filthy. When i first walked in there was glitter and fake flower petals all over the floor. The farther i walked in the worse it got. I turned around and left.

Has this location never had a corporate visit? The store has quite a few operational and customer service opportunities. I would advise some helpful training or maybe work on the team moral... Also, the cashier proceeded to shove every item into one bag. I understand everything is a $1.00 but it would be awesome if they didnt just shove and fold bags, tissue and cards with no regard. But, more importantly... the shelves are empty and the floors are disgusting. Time to take a visit.

Short on staff but have good products

This Dollar Tree is the best one I’ve been to. A fantastic shop to go to, they’ve got all kinds of food stuff, greeting cards, soaps & detergents, dishes, cups, silverware, etc. It’s very rare that their shelves are even close to empty, and the service is as good as it’s gonna get at a Dollar Tree

Did didnt have what I was looking for

Store is totally filthy! Worn carpeting, debris on carpet in every isle. You have to walk over items that have fallen or have been dropped from shelves.The cashier, Kim, is obnoxious and rude.She cleat doesnt want to be there and makes it known to her customers by her demeanor.Honestly, The city should shut this store down. Its a black eye to the city of Clawson.Ill never set foot in there again.

This is my go-to for basics, or pantry staples. I have purchased numerous hardcover $30 value books here. Their little hardware area has been indispensable. I replaced all of the lights in my house with their 2 pack LED bulbs, and they even had dimmable 2 pack LED bulbs for can lights. I tend to stock up when I shop here, buying multiples of an item I like because they often are one hit wonders. It is also fun to hear someone new to the store asking how much is this... and then upon hearing the answer, theyre filling a cart.

Very dirty store! As people have said, the place is rarely vacuumed...if at all. Nothing is ever unpacked and stocked and the staff are ambivalent at best. There is also the matter of the blinking outdoor light that would take one call to their building manager. Though its a bit out of the way, the dollar tree off 13 and Rochester is very impressive and well maintained. I definitely recommend it over this location.

I’ve never been in a dirtier store than this dollar tree. I don’t think they have ever ran a vacuum once since opening the store. Never again.

I walked into the store and asked the cashier if she could give me a quarter in exchange for 2 dimes and a nickel. So I could get a cart for my daughter. She told me no. The whole staff was very rude. I had to walk around with my daughter and the manager just gave me a dirty look. Really?!! The staff needs to work on curiosity for their customers since we are the ones making sure they have a paycheck 😣😣😣

Dollar tree has very good things but my daughter wanted something from this toy machine. i gave her two quarters and she put them in. she twisted the handle thing the right way but nothing came out. we did everything we could but it wasnt working. my daughters hard earned money is gone. the not so nice staff siad that they would not give us our money back. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Lately this place has been a mess! Stuff all over the floor, they never clean it up.. sparsely stocked with everyday items. Lots of new holiday stuff.

Love this place. Great for cards, gift boxes, wrapping paper, bows, candy, decorations (they sell out quick). Great stuff !!

I check out the Dollar Tree before going to regular stores to see if they have items that I need. Generally they have something that will do I am pleased with. But they are my first resource!

Pretty good Dollar Tree, its usually well stocked. Its not the cleanest of all the Dollar Trees though. The carpet is always dirty and there is always a dishevelled look to this one.

What has happened in our clawson dollar store? Aisles are too cluttered to walk down unsafe because products overloaded on carts falling off. Metal shelving all over floor to walk over. Rude staff. I asked for a balloon & was told no more given out today. Then customer behind me got one. We have shopped here since first opened but now will go to Maple Rd. store. Its too dirty & unsafe. What a shame.

Carpet is disgusting, it seems to have never been vacuumed. Aisles blocked and boxes everywhere. I have experienced this on multiple occasions. Very long lines also.

Needed an emergency order of 31 balloons and even though there was only two people working and it was really busy, they came through for us and were really friendly! The cashier was Conny and Im not sure the mans name who took our call, but great service!

Over 50% of the aisles are inaccessible, unorganized/disarrayed merchandise, and only one cashier open (with quite a long line of upset customers)..youd be better off going to another location in my opinion.
