This place was hard to find. So glad I was able to visit AND learn more about what they do.-Nice folks to talk with. Its a busy place at 6a and 1p weekdays. Other than those time most of the activity is inside.

My son is unable to to be bused this year beacuse a development opened that made a possible route to his school 1.9 miles away. What the transportation dept does not take into consideration, is there are no close crosswalks. In order to get that 1.9 miles of travel route, he has to to cross a road with a speed limit of 45 mph without a crosswalk. (There are crosswalks on this road but they are some distance away. It would put him at way over the 2 mile mark to go to them.)This same road Ive had a hard time getting people to stop for me to cross. Short verison, to cross safely he has to take more time to get to school than 2 miles would allow for. This puts him and other students in our area at a disavantage, if parents are unable to arrange other transportation..When I called them because google maps said the distance was 2.4 miles away, I was told that she measured it herself and with the new route it was only 1.9 miles. I asked about crosswalks and she told me. they arent in control of crosswalks the city is and all the kids made it last year. Ok, that was really inapproprate thing to say. Car accidents are a leading cause of death for children in the United States.I get that you only have limited funding, I get that things change. However just flat 2 miles away without any other consideration is a flawed approach. Further when concerned parents call, a defensive and dismissive responce, is proof that your not paying attention to our childrens safety. I expect better for our children and better from our school district. Consider this a public and formal complaint.

We live 1.9 miles from the school even though the bus stop not even a block away. Cant ride really! The way you guys measure to see if they can is not right. The bus dont stop at the schools property line but by the front door so that should be the end point not way out in the far field from the school. We should do better then that for kids. I dont mind my kid walking but be fair about who gets to ride, your house is .01 to short to ride even though the bus stops near by. Hope it improves.

Great people, invaluable service to the community!! Bus drivers have a very multitasking job: watching any where from 54 to 82 students, watching 7 mirrors, 8 gauges and all the other drivers on the road while driving a 40 foot 36000 pound bus!! Whats your super power!!😊😊

No real direction. Told a person ibwas going to come on monday and they were not there. Left request for a message and did not get a resonse. Not sure how to get help.

These transportation services do not take complaints seriously. I complained about a bus driver (bus 305 Jerica) and the woman I spoke to over the phone said they knew her and thinks she does just fine. Jerica kicked me off the bus once because my friend stole my phone and I reached over and grabbed it. The buses are a harmful environment(mostly 305) and I do not recommend anyone to ride it. Please send help.

I just witnessed at 5 pm one of your school bus drivers stop at the top of the hill on Antelope Dr. &1800 East and allow to students to exit the bus and he had no flashers on and did not, I repeat did not, open his stop signs to allow oncoming or traffic behind him to see and stop and allow these 2 kids to cross Antelope safely. In fact, he stopped about 20-30 feet past the intersection. Amazingly the traffic behind the bus stopped and one of the westbound cars happen to see them and also stopped. I was walking my dog and Im still trying to come to grips with what I witnessed. Had my arms out, looking at this guy like, you cannot be serious! Only God prevented this potential tragedy. I will be calling you people, first thing in the morning!

Wow really you people should follow the law!!!! We are new to the area and have been told there is no bus for where we live BUT we in fact live 2.2 MILES AWAY FROM THE SCHOOL OUR CHILD WILL BE ATTENDING!!! Thats over the 2 mile limit.(The law is the law FOLLOW IT!!!!!!!!)
