I recently had the opportunity to attend the first part of the implant course in NJ. I really enjoyed the experience. It was the right mix of didactic and hands on education. Every instructor bought something different to the table and it was a great experience .Dr. Schulman strived to make the learning fun and interactive. Dr. Oh helped streamline the thought process behind the dos and donts of implant dentistry. Dr. Anita touched upon personal experiences to help us understand why we do what we do with implants. I just came back from Clifton, NJ where the implant seminar course was held and I have to say that I had a great experience, I am now confident to place implants by my self. All the teachers Dr. Shulman, Dr. Anita, Dr. Russo, Dr. Oh, Dr. Braun are great, very much experienced, and very patience while teaching. A good number of implants were placed by students under supervision of doctors, some exclusive cases were also included in the program. The batches are small and even before we reached the facility we had online didactic sessions with the doctors where we discussed treatment planning, CBCT, history of dental implant.I highly recommend this course to the dentist who want to start their implant journey or want to get some more experience in treating moderate to tough cases.

Great course, very informative, hands-on and group interactive learning. Dr. Shulman is definitely a professor that I will remain in contact with and continue to learn from. I cannot wait to get back to the office to start placing implants. My confidence level has increased exponentially with extractions, bone grafts, implant placement and much more.

I took this course in sept/nov 2020 . I would recommend this course if you want to get hands on experience. The course has a good mix of didactic and clinical experience but mostly clinical . Do your due diligence and read read read ! . You will get to learn from all different styles of clinicians, which is awesome. The accommodations are a great (imagine sipping fancy Italian water in the lovely garden state ).

I just attended and finished the week long surgical implant course in Jamaica. I have practiced dentistry for 18 years, taken several CE courses. Just a great course. True hands on training. One of the best courses I have ever taken. The staff in Jamaica was very friendly and helpful. Five days of intense training followed up with evening dinners to discuss our cases. I can’t believe anyone could be disappointed by this course if there true objective is to start placing implants.

This is by far the comprehensive implant hands on courses in US. Dr. Shulman does a fantastic job to make students ready for everyday challenges in implant dentistry. He not only teaches how to avoid mistakes but also how to improvise when the cases are not ideal just like . Working with different teachers also helped me to learn different way of achieving same results. What I like about them is unlike other course they dont sell and are not biased towards one implant system. They teach you concepts of implant dentistry and not just one system. To be honest this course has exceeded my expectations and we placed more implants than we could handle.

Great didactic and hands-on experience in Jamaica for 5 days. What I was able to see and do there is probably the best primer I would ever get to start with implants at work. Dr. Shulman is quite the character, full of knowledge and experience in implantology, yet able to poke fun at anything and everything. Dr. Oh is also an excellent instructor, who is able to teach with much clarity. I am grateful to have had this experience and to have had the chance to know these two instructors. What a worthy implant seminar in beautiful land of Jamaica! I would like to go again. This is based on my experience with Dr. Shulman during his Jamaica course. Dr. Shulman is both an amazing clinician and a mentor. His course covers everything from basic suturing to more advanced sinus lift and ridge split sx. I definitely got my tuitions worth out of his course. It is quite intense, going from 9AM-8PM every day, with tons of surgical experience back to back non-stop. It is intense yes, but if you are really trying to up your implant surgical skill and become confident when you return, this is the right course for you.

Dr.Shulman and Dr.Oh both rockstars...I have learned a lot and gained lot of confidence from his courses. Even Im done with course long time ago I still send my X-ray and cases and able to discuss with them, nothing can beat that. Dr.Shulman is an excellent instructor who not only is an amazing implantologist, possess a great sense of humor. I just came back from Nov 2018 Implant seminar that was held in Jamaica. I have to say, this is the best CE course I have taken so far. Not only you will have 15+ implant placements experience(plus 15+ implant assists), but also you will learn how to placeem in a RIGHT way. Course instructors (Dr. Mike Shulman, Dr. Francis Oh) are very knowledgeable and easy to approach. Not to mention that they are also successful business men.You will learn flap designs, suture techniques, 3-4 implant systems, Socket preservations, edentulous patients, ridge augmentation techniques with various membranes, PRF, management of post-implant complications etc etc...If you have limited experience with hands on implant placement, this is the course to attend. After completing the course, you should be able to place single to double implants with moderate difficulty. Thank you Dr. Shulman and Dr. Oh.

This course is very hands on and you will dive right in on your first day. After a lot of research on implant courses with live patients I found this is the best deal when considering the number of implants you will place. I left feeling confident and ready to place implants in my own office. I called Dr Shulman before I started the course with questions about purchasing equipment and he was very helpful. He also offers his help after completion of the course. The course satisfies requirements for Fellow in the American Academy of Prosthodontists (AAIP )a position that would otherwise require review of the candidates implant placement/restoration portfolio. It closely follows implant fundamentals developed by Carl Misch and Leonard Linkow.
