This place is great! the teachers are nice eh the bathrooms hold it till home.

My son loves going to his karate classes. He was so nervous and unsure in the beginning but after just a few classes he really enjoys it! The instructor is stern and very patient with the kids. I really appreciate that. I definitely recommend this martial arts school 👍🏻

I spent a very significant portion of my time at Clifton Martial Arts Academy for over 6 years. In that time, the instructors not only helped me grow as a martial artist, but also as an individual. I came out with greater discipline, determination, and leadership skills. All of this culminated in my acceptance to an Ivy League school. I cannot recommend CMAA enough.

My son had a great experience at this school for several years. The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging. Definitely recommend if you are looking for quality martial arts training.

CMAA is absolutely great!! Our older son has been a student for the last 6.5 years and recently obtained his black belt, training under Mr.Meghdir. The staff are absolutely professional and our sons have been thriving at this school, making some great friends along the years. We live about 10 miles away from the school, but choose to go to this school battling heavy traffic every evening, because of our very positive experience here over the years. Love CMAA and we only have good things to say about them.I am seeing posts about negative reviews. There seems to be a vendetta going on here. Please check with actual parents / kids who have been with the academy over the years for their experience. Again, we only have positive feedback and will highly recommend CMAA.

We sent both our kids: an eight year old girl and a five year old boy to Clifton martial arts academy. My daughter made significant progress going from white belt to senior yellow belt in about six months. I could see that her social skills, confidence and ease in physical movements improved. My son used to be completely distracted when he started the classes. We could see his focus Improve. All the instructors are genuinely interested in teaching and have immense patience. They are professional, friendly, calm and composed. The classes start on time but do not end abruptly when the time is up. They let the given activity run even if it takes a few more minutes. They also train before or after the class if need be. Sadly, after shifting to our new house we cannot continue with these classes because of impractical duration of commute. But I highly recommend these classes. I wish this institute good luck in its pursuit to contribute to our next generation.

I cant say enough good things about Clifton Martial Arts Academy. Jim Meghdir is a pillar of the community. While other Dojos went out of business during the Covid pandemic, Mr Meghdir quickly and nimbly adapted to include virtual classes, outdoor gatherings, and modified indoor instruction, as allowed by the CDC. Mr Meghdir can frequently be seen supporting other local businesses and sharing his presentations at local schools, street fairs, and the like. His commitment to the community and charity (St Jude Childrens Hospital, etc.) is unparalleled. Mr Meghdir is a consummate professional whose record, both on and off the mats, speaks for itself. The Dojo itself is always immaculately clean and is manned by an incredible staff. My Son has trouble focusing, but since starting at Clifton Martial Arts Academy a few years ago, his grades have improved, hes more confident, and hes able to stay on task much longer. CMAA teaches so much more than Martial Arts. They teach discipline, respect, professionalism, anti-bullying, physical fitness, and much, much more - all while making it fun! CMAA has my highest possible recommendation for both children and adults looking to better their bodies and souls. I will be forever grateful.

My daughter has been attending CMA for about 10 months. She is young and has benefited from the instruction, focus and exercise she gets. She is progressing as a young girl building confidence and independence. The instructors are extremely patient and supportive. Initially she was excited to learn martial arts. Then we had a period where coaxing was needed, and now she is starting to see her own growth and her enthusiasm is growing. The atmosphere is positive and it is a safe and encouraging environment.

Jim Meghdir and his staff are amazing! They always encourage and challenge students in all of their lessons. I highly recommend this place!

Jim runs a great program and offers enough options during the week to ensure your kids can learn as much as possible. All the kids love their instructors and there are plenty of activities outside of karate that the kids enjoy (nerf nights, charity events, etc).

My wife has been attending classes here for nearly four years. In that time, she has gained strength and self-esteem. She speaks highly of all her instructors, and they clearly foster a positive, friendly atmosphere for students.

My daughter has been attending for seven months already and enjoys her classes. She has learned a lot from this school and continues to learn every day. Mr. Meghdir, Mr. White, and Mr. T are great teachers and encourage their students every step of the way. The staff is all profesional and adapt to every childs needs.
