I went this this school in 2020 and LOVED IT. Although, time was cut short because of covid they made the best of it and Ms. Karoline tried her absolute best. I gained amazing experience and amazing friends!

Niya Wilson was supposed to give me a relaxer, semi for color, trim my ends and a roller wrap. After the relaxer and semi color, my roots and hair was curly. This has NEVER happened before. I was shocked but remained calm hoping the style would get better. She rolled my hair with curly roots and after sitting under the dryer for 45 minutes, my hair came out hard and lifeless with no curls and curly roots😳. She attempted to fix her mistakes by flat ironing/bumping the hair. This did not work. The style/service did not come out as expected. I still had to pay $75 for the services. I get home and looked through sections of my hair and the semi color did not take or wasn’t applied correctly. This was a horrible experience! I left the student salon with a ponytail. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a student salon and the owner/supervisors/teachers did not seem to care!

I scheduled an appointment and they told me they could dye my hair the color that I wanted. When I arrived the next morning the lady told me “it’s too advanced for the students.” Previously when I had called 2 ladies told me they could do it.

Just had my first chemical peak by Pauline. Im hooked! It was fantastic, so relaxing. My skin already looks better!

I’ve been going to Mississippi Institute of Aesthetics, Nails, & Cosmetology for facials for about 6 months, every 2 weeks to a month, and my skin has never looked better! The students and staff are professional, very well educated, and they have helped me alter my routine to provide the best possible care for my skin. Honestly, they have been far more helpful than the dermatologist (whom I’ve stopped going to)! It is a spa quality experience for half the price!I will also say that I have been to other schools in the area, and the service does not even come close to the quality I have received at Mississippi Institute of Aesthetics Nails & Cosmetology.

MSI is a wonderful school, they are very thorough with their teaching process. You couldnt ask for a better learning experience. If you have ever entertained the idea of learning a trade in the cosmetology field this is the place to go. They come highly recommend by many professionals, like myself.

I came to get my brows tinted and waxed. My aesthetician was Tori she was super sweet! She started the tint and I expressed that I didnt like it and asked her to remove it and Ill just get my brows waxed. Then the instructor Ms. Caroline came up to me and asked what was wrong and I told her I didnt like it and she said in a nasty voice that since I wasnt satisfied she suggests that I end all services. And I told the aesthetician that since the instructor was nasty and basically told me to get out that I was done and no longer wanted my brows waxed. Tori was so nice and apologized. But Caroline was very rude! I wont be back

Absolutely the best cosmetology nail aesthetics school in Mississippi extremely educated teachers family-owned they go above and beyond the call of duty to teach their students beyond the book and to prepare them For a successful career!

Saw on the website that they had a nail salon as well & went to go give it a try. When I walked into the building I immediately started getting employees and guests stare at me with an unfriendly look. I looked around and realized that this was an “all white establishment” which I’m used to seeing in Clinton but this was on a whole nother level. When the receptionist finally came to the front desk she told me that they could only do manicure & pedicure but I couldn’t get a full set because they didn’t have any nails. How is a cosmetology school not have acrylic nail?! I ended up just leaving after that I just really felt uncomfortable being in that building surrounded by ppl that don’t want “my kind” using there services.

Best Cosmetology school to attend by far.
