My son has been at Grace for 9 years (grades 1 through 9). I am thoroughly happy with the school. The Christian standards are a wonderful addition to our family values as is the support of the staff and other parents. I would highly recommend the school to others and have done so. Academics, extracurriculars, spirituality, and the family atmosphere are why we are staying at Grace. Go Eagles!!

My wife and I love this school. If you are looking for a Bible based school where academic rigor is stressed and a biblical world view is carried out, look no further. The teachers here really love the students as evidenced by their desire to travel far distances to come to work, the extra time they spend with students after school and by their countless acts of encouragement. Sending our children to Grace was the best choice we could have made. We wish we sent all of our kids their sooner...

Grace Brethren provides a great atmosphere for parents who want their children to receive a Christian education that prepares them for college. The responsibility/accountability grade is a great feature to spur independence. Its so nice to be around believers. We have even found new best friends in the parents of our sons friends. This is a community that is raising disciples of Christ - God puts your child where he wants him to be.

This school is awful. They present a wonderful family atmosphere, but it screams of nepotism. Every faculty member has 4/5 kids that go to the school and those kids wreak havoc on the other kids. There is no fairness nor accountability. The kids whose parents dont teach at the school are afraid to speak out because they feel like they will be targets. I pulled my child out with three weeks to go in the school year, because a child lunged at and grabbed her purse, she pushed him away and hit him with a three piece. This was all captured on video and they did nothing. She was suspended and we were told the child that instigated it, was just horse playing. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me. I accepted her suspension because she did hit him, but to tell me that his horse play which instigated the incident was not a mitigating factor in him being hit and nothing happened to him was more than I could stand. If you want your child to get a fair shake and go to a good school, this is certainly not the one. This school is some straight garbage. Do you children a favor and sent them somewhere else. Cause if they are not part of the clique, they are going to be in for a long agonizing school year.

My son has been at Grace since first grade and while things have changed (not always for the better) I remain happy with my decision to keep him enrolled. I am a believer that every institution has its issues and parents should make the choice of school based on the needs of their child. For all of the negative reviews it is apparent that GBCS Clinton must be doing some thing(s) right. This past graduating class had a student to receive the Bill Gates scholarship. Not only that but another received and appointment to the Naval Academy; not to mention the over $4M in scholarship money offered the graduates. Will I say that there is nothing about the school I dont like?...NO. But what is more important to me is the good that comes out of those things that I do like!! I try to teach my son to be part of the solution and not to harp on the problem. We can affect change if we choose to be the change we want to see. It may not necessarily come immediately but I believe it will come. Call me an optimist...but GBCS has been a safe environment for my son to get the education and development needed.

I went to Grace Bretheren and it was the worst experience of my life. First of all the schools main purpose is to force their opinion down your throat. If they dont agree with it they wont even think about trying to listen to what you have to say they will just ignore everything you said...no matter how logical. Second of all the education is terrible. The teachers act like they dont even care about your questions and get annoyed if you even raise your hand. Also, I dont know what happened to these teachers or whats going on in their lives, but they have the worst attitudes, theres this one teacher who just stomps around the halls mad at everyone. Not to mention he taught us more about his personal life than anything that was worth knowing that could help me in college. The substitutes taught us more than they ever did. Then you have the building itself which has a ceiling with missing tiles and cockroaches roaming every sq ft of the building. Also the school just reeks of nepotism.

I am new to the school, but so far I love it. Two children, one in PK and the other in 5th grade. As many others have already written, nothing is perfect, but all is perfect in Christ! They hold children accountable and although some parents may find it harder to adjust to, it is what children need. A safe environment full of people who care to teach them what to expect from this world and how to hold on to your Christian values while you live in it. I am happy, academics are great, the school and all teachers are responsive and again I am so happy! My 5th grader had to adjust a little to the system as he was coming from a public charter school that became disorganized and frustrating, but now he is eager to try and happy to do his work. They are inspiring him to learn and to me...that alone is a job well done! Thank you GBCS. I look forward to many more years with you!

The one who loves discipline loves knowledge, But the one who hates reproof is unreasoning. Proverbs 12:1My husband and I have been partnering with GBCS, Clinton, MD for 10 years. Our daughter who is now a 9th Grader is doing exceptionally well spiritually and academically. We appreciate the partnership with GBCS as an extension to our daughters growth and development during her tenure at GBCS and the love she has for God, family, friends and her community as well as the importance of education. We are very proud parents and we thank God for his love, guidance and discipline.
