This place felt like home. The professors and staff are all such hard working, kind, and inspiring people. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone. It is a place that truly cares about the success of their students and gives them the skills necessary to succeed in a law career. I feel incredibly blessed to have attended this law school. It enabled me to transition into a law career smoothly with an abundance of confidence. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

I would not change a thing about San Joaquin College of Law. The staff and faculty are good people all around. Thank you, Diane Steel and Francisco Rosas, for your service to the community. So many people’s lives have been changed due to the location of the school and more importantly by the inspiration of the staff and faculty who provide access to a legal education here in the Central Valley. If you are a Veteran like me and are looking for another mission, consider pursuing a legal education with San Joaquin College of Law. Cheers San Joaquin College of Law to many more years of service.

I am a first year law school student and enrolled in San Joaquin College of Law in Fall 2020. I work fulltime and am the primary breadwinner in my family. I am married with 2 children. Since starting law school I have discovered that this is where I am suppose to be. The school and faculty have gone above and beyond to make sure we have the resources we need to succeed. The TA’s are outstanding and the guidance they have provided in study sessions over Microsoft Teams has been instrumental to my success. Their support profoundly impacted my experience in the first semester. Overall, I am so satisfied with the institution and grateful to the staff and professors.

I know that I was nervous about beginning law school remotely this semester, but through all the outstanding efforts of the faculty and staff at SJCL I honestly felt like I was immediately at-home at the school. Never would I have expected to be so supported by any school, let alone one limited to online classes by the pandemic, but I am so grateful for all the hard work, outreach, and ever-present support I received! Diane Steel, thanks for going above and beyond. If you are thinking about law school, I highly recommend San Joaquin College of Law. Reach out to Diane Steel, Director of Admissions and she will walk you through the application process.

Growing up, I was always the class clown and never wanted to focus on school of out fear of trying and failing to do well. Somehow I found myself becoming accepted to San Joaquin College of Law (SJCL), despite having no background in law. Thanks to the professors and staff at SJCL, I was able to discover not only a passion for the law, but also one for learning. For the first time in my life, I was not only excelling at school, but also enjoying it.The professors have high expectations and accept only the best work. This often felt difficult during my studies; however, Ive come to realize it was thanks to these professors that I was able to pass the CA Bar exam on my first try.Furthermore, the administration and staff work tirelessly to ensure the success of every student. There was an incident where I had missed an email from the CA State Bar, which almost caused me to be withdrawn from being able to take the bar exam. The Director of Student Services, Joyce Modoromi, was able to pull some strings which allowed me to stay on as a bar applicant for that exam.I was hired as an attorney just 5 days after receiving my bar result by an alumni of the school. Not once in my life did I ever think I could become an attorney, but it was SJCL that gave me that opportunity and drive to get here.
