Received a call regarding my child having an uncleared absent. Nonetheless, we did drop our child off at school so this gave us a huge scare/panic as we believed our child was at school. I call the front office and they say it was a mistake. I asked to speak to my child to verify my child was there and my child was. However, I spoke to Christy in the front office after and explained to her that there accountability needs to be double checked before the teachers submit their attendance and she said, Sorry people make mistakes were only human. I explained there needs to better accountability for attendance, she reiterated about mistakes. I said thank you for letting me speak to my son, she say, youre welcome, and just hung up on me.

I sent my daughter here for 6th grade only. Doesnt seem like there is any bullying and kids look like kids. I say that because Tarpy girls wore fancy high heels and clothes teenagers would wear. The school lunch at Cole my daughter says u get to pick what u want to eat, they write it down, but since they are the last to eat all the kids who come before will change their mind and not get what they picked, leaving my daughter with something she did not want. Not that she is picky but this happens alot! I pick her up and she says she is starving several times! She said the chicken pattie was raw one time and even the others kids said it to and the teacher told them to eat around it!!!! Also she says sometimes the food is cold and that happened a few times. This school is just a school to go to. My daughter has been failing math all year because she got behind in 5th grade because of stomach problems and nobody has yet told me she needs help or offer a tutor nothing! You can clearly see she is not doing well all year. Like i said its just a school..nobody really cares if u achieve or not. They r to busy preparing kids to go to different classes thru out the day to get them ready for middle school. So nobody really has time to teach them one on one. I would not recommend this school especially for 6th graders.

Cole is a great school. Staff is good, grounds are (mostly) clean, and the neighborhood it sits in is mostly gorgeous.

I went to this school and idk if mr. bloomer still teaches there but hes lowkey terrifying. Everything else was cool, but because of john, im gonna have to knock this down to 4 stars.

I went to this school and it sucked. In sixth grade my teacher always said to my mom that i was caught up on my work but alawys told me that i was missing somthing. dont send your kids hear. i hear sierra charter school is better, teachers are actually nice and VERY helpfull.
