My son has been going to this school for a few years now and we absolutely love it! The teachers are so passionate about their jobs and have treated my son like their own. My son has learned so many important social skills as well as academics throughout his time here. They have an app where you learn about their day and also provide pictures which is a great bonus to have. The cost is a great value too. They have flexible hours and food is included! There are fun family events hosted by the school as well as an adorable graduation ceremony. My son is ready for kindergarten thanks to Holland County Day School!

We have been sending our two kids for 2.5 years now. We love this school! Coming back from the Corona Virus was definitely nerve racking for us, but they have been doing an outstanding job meeting all CDC guidelines and communicating frequently with families. The owners are happy caring people and the staff are very attentive to the kids needs. We highly recommend this school!

From the beginning, I felt that sending my little one to Holland has been the best decision. We have been going part time 3 days a week and our 2 year old is already blossoming into a very independent and social toddler. We’ve noticed that his language skills have increased significantly even over the past few weeks. He enjoys going to school and is very happy.Lisa and Mike are amazing owners and have always been there to answer our questions or concerns. Mr. Talan is so sweet and our little guy genuinely looks forward to going to his classroom. We are always greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome by Stephanie. With everything going on with COVID-19, the school takes great care to social distance and to sanitize. The tuition is so reasonable considering all that is included. I love the tadpoles app and love seeing photos of our little one throughout the day. We plan on staying here until our little guy is ready for Kindergarten.Thank you to everyone at Holland for being so amazing and for providing amazing care! You guys are awesome!

My wife and I have loved the Holland Country Day School, since we enrolled our new born two years ago. Were very fortunate to have found such a wonderful Daycare for our son to make friends and grow. The teachers have helped him to learn in a fun and caring environment with a variety of activities each day(songs, crafts, games, books, etc.). Besides playing outside with his friends, his favorite part of the day is Circle Time!

Holland Country Day School is an outstanding facility. Both of our girls attended Holland after the daycare they were attending unexpectedly closed. I was so impressed with the overall school, very new and clean and all of the staff members were so nice and really cared about the kids. Communication from the teachers is very good, much better than what I had experienced at the other school. And I love the fact that they provide a healthy lunch! My kids ate vegetables there I could never get them to eat at home! My oldest daughter is in kindergarten now and I feel that Holland really did an excellent job preparing her for grade school. I really cant say enough good things!

This daycare is outstanding! My two children attended just the summer of 2019. They had a great experience in the pre-k room and school age camp! The facility is new and beautiful and grounds are kept clean, and an added bonus their are some chickens and goats on the property. Lisa and Mike, the owners communicate appropriately and often. Pam, the director does a great job keeping the place running smoothly. My only regret was not finding this place sooner!

We LOVE this school. Such a unique and loving place to bring your children. We have taken our kids here for the past three years. My husband and I couldnt be happier with the care our kids receive, the loving staff and the organization of the center. Communication is so often lacking in childcare but here we get in person detailed reports of their day and thorough daily reports with pictures! The owners Mike and Lisa are fantastic; very helpful and kind people that have their heart in what they do. Our kids couldnt be happier and they never want to go home!

Our experience with Holland Country Day School has been nothing short of fabulous. Our older daughter started in the Threes room and learned life skills as well as science, counting, letters, and more. Hollands focus on being a good friend, meal-time behavior, and PLAY was exactly what she needed. We have found the Pre-K room (Fours) to be full of education (counting, sight words, patterns) as well as continuing to build on those good person skills. There is plenty of playtime and outside activities mixed in, perfect for our very busy four year old. Their meal program is well rounded and exposes the children to different foods, while still being kid-friendly!If youre looking for childcare for an infant, I cant recommend Holland highly enough for this age group as well! The teachers in the infant room have been so kind to our infant during her time with them, and the daily photos and updates about her day (Tadpoles) are a much needed reassurance for me. Even the infant room participates in the schools weekly themes with age appropriate crafts, books, songs, and activities. We know both of our girls are well taken care of while theyre at Holland each day.

Hardworking, dedicated, staff that truly care for the children. The teachers and Lisa Holland are constantly working to come up with creative ideas and lesson plans that are enjoyable for the children as well as educational. Very positive experience.

Really surprised to read the positive reviews on Google given our experience at Holland. Gives me hope that we might have been an exception and not the rule. I certainly wouldn’t wish our experience here on any other parent or child. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is that there were some good teachers there. Unfortunately most of our favorites left because of issues with the owner and/or to take a job at another daycare. Our daughter started here at 13 mos. We fell in love with her teacher and the vision that was laid out to us for her care and learning. But as time went on, it became clear that the vision we were promised and pictured was not the reality. We started noticing some of the staff leaving their positions, including her beloved teacher. The turnover rate of staff seemed high but we had little to compare it to. Then we started finding our daughter in soiled diapers upon pickup. This led to extreme diaper rashes and ultimately, a fear of using the potty because of the pain. To top things off she was not allowed to move into her age appropriate classroom because of this...In spite of the fact that it was a direct result of the lack of attention and care from the staff that caused it.Because of this and due to what seemed to be a lack of classroom space, lack of planning, or both, she ended up in a “roaming” classroom. Parents were told to put their kid’s shoes and jackets in a laundry bin at drop off. At pick up, we often had no idea where the kids were in the building, much less where missing shoes, socks, or clothing was located. Then they stopped providing lunches, yet continued to charge the same tuition. Add to this several awkward and even intense conversations with the owner and we knew it was time to look elesewhere. The final straw was seeing my daughter and her classmates literally eating their snack off of dirty tables. No plates. No napkins. No nothing. That was 9 months ago and we’re incredibly happy and grateful to have found a preschool that she is excelling in. We don’t lose sleep at night anymore or wonder what’s going on during the day because of where she’s in school. We also like that it’s at a similar price point! As frustrated and angry as I was toward the end of our experience at Holland, I wanted to wait to post this review. Partly to calm my emotions and partly to see what other daycare experiences were like. I also don’t take posting these words lightly. As a small business owner myself, I know how important reviews are to a company’s image. But when it comes to the health and care of children and given what we went through, I felt compelled to share our experience. Hopefully others can avoid the same.
