We had a lovely experience at Stages. On site (albeit paid) parking made the experience nice from the start. We saw Charm City Junction and the Hackensaw Boys in May 2021. It was the first time we had seen live music in over 16 months. Both bands were exceptional. They were just as excited as the audience was. This was their first time playing before a live audience since the beginning of the pandemic in the US. The garden style venue was exceptional as was the sound You can bring your own chairs or use one provided by Stages. You can even throw down a blanket, sit down and spread out to enjoy the music. The staff members at Stages were very polite and professional. It was a nice relaxing and fun evening. Thank you to everyone at Stages, to Charm City Junction, and to the Hackensaw Boys for bringing us one step closer to normalcy. We look forward to returning to Stages to enjoy more live music.

Fantastic place to learn and grow as a musician. I have always loved to sing and finally decided to take lessons. My vocal coach (Shannon) is great and I am learning so much! I’m also trying “Adult Jam” with Mitch as a mentor...the most fun I’ve had creatively in years. State of the art facility, fantastic community of like minded people who just love music. Thank you Stages.

Stages Music Arts is a pretty amazing music school full of instructors and staff who care very much for every student who comes through their doors. My daughter has been taking drum lessons with John B. for two years now and guitar lessons with Brennan M. for the past few months. They really know how to nurture her love of music in a way that both challenges and encourages her. My daughter has also worked with various other instructors through camps and band settings and has had awesome experiences with everyone she has worked with. The front desk staff have always made her feel welcome since day one. The facility is state of the art and all the musical equipment is top notch. We have been so grateful for the way that Stages Music Arts has handled the situation with the pandemic in such a safe and profesional way. As a parent, I have full confidence in their ability to follow through on safety precautions. If your child loves music, I would highly recommend joining the Stages Music Arts family! My daughter has experienced so much joy here!

Stages manages to be both professional and like family. Everyone is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. My daughter has been in ukulele and piano lessons for over a year and has made tremendous progress. However, the best part is she looks forward to her lessons with Molly each time. Thank you, Stages!

I can assure you that you will not find a finer facility in the country. Do all the searching you want and nothing will compare to this place. Charles Simon, the GM, runs the best music school in America and its not even close. Top level instruction, gorgeous facility and state of the art recording studios. During Covid they are following all CDC and State guidelines to keep everyone safe. Thank you Rob Smith for creating such a special place for musicians in our community.

Stages is a wonderful educational experience for our son-studying electric guitar under Brennan McShane for 4 years. (You rock, Brennan!) Teaching quality, environment, and professionalism at Stages Music Arts improve all the time. It’s a beautiful place composed of many parts such as a recital area, outdoor concert area, recording booths, etc., and worth asking for a tour of the building. Stages is filled with positive, energetic, and highly educated staff who really care about, and are tuned in to, their students of all ages. Note: the building is extremely clean, has a new filter system due to Covid, and staff follow all necessary measures. We highly recommend enrolling you and your child(ren) for vocal lessons and instrument lessons with the amazing instructors at Stages Music Arts.

Stages’ studios attract clients from around Baltimore & the region (& beyond), artists such as Carl Filipiak, Los Lobos, Jon Zorn, Mark Stanley, Joe Keyes & others. I’m currently preparing to release an album that I recorded @ Stages w/my band ACCOMPLICES & I think it sounds great in large part due to the studio’s capabilities & the masterful work of Dave Nachodsky!
