Great school with caring faculty and staff.

I have drop off a line here after reading reviews about the counselor Dana Allen.This is the school I’m attempting to finish my LPN nursing program.All I have to say about this counselor is that she is being extremely helpful to me. Providing me options to ensure I meet requirements .she seems to care about the success of the students . So far a very professional advisor she knows what she is doing.I will keep you updated once I’m on the program.UPDATE I couldn’t get in the program because ELAINE COKE an unhelpful Director from this school Reject all my science classes after making me order an official transcripts.It is what it is. I should have paid more attention to all the reviews post in here. I wouldn’t have wasted so much of my time.Very unprofessional staffGood luck to all of you.

This is a fantastic school for higher learning! The teachers are great. I highly recommend this school.

Awesome staff, very attentive and have a lot to teach

My grandson goes there and he loves it.

An insurance instructor told me once that beside been well prepared for an state exam, eating a slice of pizza just before the exam, will boost our neuron connections. I did it again this morning before taking my Fl Health exam at Pearson Vue test center @ Atlantic College, and guess what? I got a PASS ticket!!!

I learned Automobile Repair at this school, under the tutelage of Kenneth Williams. It was a great course and I learned so much more then the course books could ever teach us. I would definitely recommend ATC!

Staff and administration aren’t very accommodating for Adult Education, Student services personnel I have been in contact with are quite condescending. I just want to hurry and get through this program and be out of here. I definitely would not recommend this school.

The Saturday computer class teacher, Ms Kay, is phenomenal. Shes so patience and helpful. I am computer illiterate, but after my first class with Ms. Kay, I no longer feel the anxieties that plagued me about the compute.

Had to come here to use the BCPS wifi and nobody bothered me while I made my stay, worked well for me.

Pretty good high-school. Alot of the staff really do care and want you to succeed. The classes are tough though. I cannot speak on the college portion but with the high-school taking classes 4 classes in 1 semester and getting 4 more isnt easy

I regret going to this high school. If I could do it all again, I would go anywhere else. When I think back on the teachers and staff, I dont know why I stayed at this horrible school. My advice? Go to a school that treats you with dignity and respect.

Atlantic Technical College is a fabulous school. It has wonderful programs such as HVAC, Carpentry, Drafting, Court Reporting, Medical Assistant, Mechanical and so much more. The location is convenient and the staff is very helpful and encouraging for new and potential students. If you are looking to change careers they have so many options to help you along the way.

The teacher for welding sucks Mr.Rose is a HORRIBLE instructor he doesnt teach and plays favorites the school is great but the teachers are questionable

I went there a few years ago, full time, for the 1 year culinary program. While it is a very short time to learn everything they want to squeeze in to teach you, you definitely leave with a lot of great knowledge. I liked that in the cold foods, if you show interest, Chef will teach you about food carving. In the bakery, if you let Chef know you want to try something, hell make time to do that with you or with the class.It was an overall great experience. The only negative I have is about one of the Chefs, I wont say whom in particular... she told me on a couple occasions that Id probably do better at the front of the house, I was not fit for the kitchen. Harsh truth? I worked in a commercial kitchen after graduating and loved it. I think she spoke too soon. I now make custom tiered cakes. Guess I exceeded her expectations..

Is great schoolAffordable

Great school. I dual enrolled in 12th grade, and Im currently enrolled in the HVAC Summer program. Mr. Youngblood is one of the teachers who instruct the HVAC program, one of the best teachers Ive ever had! For any high schoolers or persons looking for a good career, choose ATC!

Really amazing, fun & caring teachers. Its a low cost for the quality resources @ our disposal (regardless of the program). Very clean & convenient environment, no need to second guess this school. Im really picky & I honestly love it here, tremendous opportunities offered to every student.

I have to say we have very great staff the staff are very friendly their patient and very respectful they are very helpful. The school has a great education system. There is always security on campus 24/7 monitoring the campus and their there to help.The School has very amazing teachers thats coming from me as a student who has experience I have been going to this school since 2010.If you have any concerns the staff are there to help and address those concerns you may have. I have to say overall we have a very great school and many great people go to our school and we welcome many more new people who wish to come to attend our school. The school has all the resources available.

This school is garbage! The teachers are trash! Very Rude. Please reconsider going to this school. They demand respect but completely disrespectful to the students. Prepare to be a robot if u attend this school. The ONLY thing they have going for them is Mr. Newton! Everything else is STRAIGHT out of the ghetto! Its a very hostile learning environment. Constant confrontations with the students.

I was going to do web development , come to find you actually need a bachelors degree to be a web developer and graphic designer ,which I found out from my vocational rehabilitation counselor, not the school. Im so glad I didnt go to this school , some of there programs are a scam. Do your research before you choose to do any program at this school.

This is a great place to learn the hvac/r trade. The three instructors, Mr Youngblood, Mr. Blackford, and Mr. Williams, are absolutely the best top notch professionals that have shared their extensive knowledge and experience which has helped me to flourish in the Hvac field. I am very grateful for my time spent there and can’t say enough great things about them! 5 stars all the way!!!

I think ATC is an acceptable school but it could be better. By better, I dont mean the teachers, I mean the actual students and PARENTS themselves. One student that will stay unnamed said she is coming for 2 students. I dont know what that means and who she meant by that. But, that alone should be enough for these parents to control their kids. They need to teach their kids some respect and discipline them. Your child is an accurate representation of you. If you are disrespectful, it will show. If you are talking back, it will show. Ive only been at ATC for a couple of weeks in my second semester and I already wanna leave this school because of these very few disrespectful kids. The work load is a little more than middle school, meaning you have to try a little bit more. Its easy if you listen to the teachers and take notes. But, the one thing I must complain about is one teacher that will be unnamed, GIVES OUT DETENTIONS for not having your ID. Now, I understand I am supposed to have my ID for the seven hours I am in school, BUT if I FORGET you can penalize me. I will take full responsibility. But, if the teacher gives another student of their ethnicity NOTHING. That is unfair. This supposed teacher was being disrespectful just because I am of another ethnicity. Other than that, I do suppose the school is acceptable and is a good school. Just make sure, if you are a freshman, remember there will be kids that think they are BETTER than everyone else, but, in reality they are just living a big fantasy. Dont feed them attention because thats what they want. Dont give it to them. If you are being nice to them and they are being mean, its better that way than being mean, and youre putting yourself in every other way more mature and respectful and you are a better person for that fact.

Great programs to get you the skills for real jobs. The best way to advance your life into a great career. It can change your life.

Great location for education

This is a great school the programs and staff are good, I was a student there at the Hvac/r class and my experiences was really good.

Im giving a one star becuase My sister was misinformed with when she will be enrolled in the Dental Assistant Program. She was with the expectations that she was going to begin in the new year. Just so later she will have to be in a waiting list to being in the following year. The consuelers and the staff shouldve taken initiative to inform better the student and not waist there time. Thanks

If you cant go to a University, I suggest this college to get you moving towards a great future. The personnel helps you and guides you to get financial aid, if you need to apply for it. I took some clases with Chandra Kydd, she was a great teacher.

Exciting experience

Do not come to this school you are in a classroom with HIGH SCHOOL loud disruptive kids that you can not even think and do your work and the teacher does not care!! It’s a ghetto school so avoid it by all means!! Oh btw they cram new incoming students so don’t exoect to NOT have a seat sometimes I’m trying to find a way to report this piece of nonsense school such a waste of your money!!! Smh

Horrible, i tried calling them over 10 times and when they finally picked up, the lady was super rude and told me she could not give me any information i would have to come in. if that is the case why have the number on here ? im not wasting gas to go over there and its not what im looking for. Staff needs retraining in the customer service department.

I tried calling and spoke to Emma Delton and she was the rudest most unhelpful person you could speak to about anything that could be beneficial to you. She made me want to consider a different school, if this is how the customer service is being ran then I would assume the school isn’t much better
