Im currently going here because in all honesty the IT field did interest me. Currently I have a professor that mocks my intelligence, and is somewhat aggressive when I dont know a question he asks. I come here to learn, not to be mocked.

Im a parent who involved in my son education. I spoke to Joseph Spachek Admissions Representative . I was asking for general information and he had sent some information through email. I asked that the information he sent was not complete. He asked what other information I needed. I responded that it would be nice to know the cost $$ of the HVAC course and when do classes start. He said he needed to talk to my son first for a interview and that he was able to give me this information. I made a comment and said that Blinn and CTC put all of information on the web site. Then Joseph Spachek said if he cannot interview my son he wouldnt be attending Vista College. I said thank you have a nice day. Vista College is not transparent and forth coming on general information to be able to make an informed decision and be able to guide my son through the process.

Way over priced $$$ I MEAN WAY OVER PRICED$$$ I paid less Way less at Blinn!!! this is not a college its only run by a college. Its a Trade school. No Hasel Wood Act accepted because its not a State run School. They used to give Polo shirts but now the give cheaper Shirts for part of the uniform. And they will tell you they Upgraded the Uniform.

The teachers in this school, I think have more drama than high school students. Its all about getting someone in trouble or even favoritism. Favoritism is a big thing here. Also they sometimes treat us like we are kids or in high school still, sorry that is not the case. We are all grown adults, at least most of us, (some still havent matured). Not to mention its kinda of pricey. Now the school does have its perks, like the times they have class. Also there are some pretty good teachers here that care about their students and their ability to learn. Along with some helpful staff. But other than that, I hate this school.

My experience with Vista college has been a very positive one. The professors are very knowledgeable in the courses they teach. I have really enjoyed all of my classes here at Vista College. This has been a very good course that I has chosen Vista College as to where I wanted to go to get my Associate Degree in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding (MIBC).I would highly recommend Vista College to other people or students to come to Vista College.

I have been a student here since March of 2016. I really enjoy going to school here. I get challenged everyday from my teachers, so that I am ready for my career. While at Vista, we develop friendship that will last a lifetime.

So To start! Vista does has a select few of good professors and some actually have a passion to see the students succeed but, there are few professors who lack the ability to teach students. I had to move to night classes just to get a proper education because of constant bullying from students and also administrative staff that lacks professionalism. There are Pros and Cons to attending vista and i would definitely attend a couple classes before actually enrolling to the school.

Had no choice but to give this college one star when it deserves not one! I was going to wait to review the school but I have fellow classmates and other students giving me feedback on what they are having to deal with on a daily basis and I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with the same situations we have had to deal with! First of all let me start off by saying maybe 5 staff members there actually care and want you to do better the rest are there for a paycheck and in education I believe the student should better the first priority. The leader Mr.Atkins is not a good leader he will say his door is open etc but make you feel like you do not matter at all! As he say this is a business!I have went in chain of command as they say and still nothing has been done about this unprofessional rude staff they bully there way to try and get the things they want done and its not right. I have even went to the CEO of the school and still nothing has been changed yet they want us to follow the suppose rules when they dont they abuse the fact that they have a little power. When i say we have proof that there is a felon who works there and yet nothing has been done and all the head has to say is i dont talk about employees with the student but is allowed to talk about the student to the employee who has harassed the student multiple occasions is a joke!! I wouldnt want anyone else to deal with it any longer its a shame in order to have a future with a career to have to deal with all the negativity at this campus. I would NEVER reccomend Vista College to any of my family or friends! The stress and harassment just is not worth it! So if you want a great education Vista College College Station is NOT the place to go!!

The smaller classes is what attracted me to come to Vista College. And the times classes are held allow me to still work my job. The teachers are awesome they were always willing to help and encouraging you to do more and better. Annette Bryant

Vista offers small classes which last 5 weeks. It costs roughly the same as going to Blinn for 3 years. I enjoy the classes and how much I can learn from them.

I had the most awful experience at this school. I was told that the school provided tutors, a resource center, and career services for students once they were ready to graduate. There is something fishy going on with the business office. When I enrolled, the financial aid office provided me with a summary statement of how much was payed to the school by FAFSA. However, the business office kept telling me that I owed them money each month, when I should not have. The business manager was fired from Texas A&M University for stealing 25,000 from the school. Lots of students were being told they owed money that they were not told about when applying. The program director pulls students out of class for long periods of time to question us about our attendance, our uniforms, I missed so much class, which they then took points off for. The classes are boring. The teachers are suppose to take us to lab, lecture, and give us class activities. Very few lectured, had no teaching experience, and just sat at their desks while we worked on computer programs from the book. I hardly got to practice my skills in the lab. Only Snell and Heath controlled lab and smell teach capstone and Heath left. There were not enough instructors in the lab to monitor so we basically practiced on each other though we did not know what to do. Students laughed and carried on in the lab so it was hard to learn and the teachers didnt care. Several students when they went out on extern were sent back to the college because we had not been properly taught how to draw blood, take a blood pressure, work with a sterile field, or take an accurate medical history. I passed my certification test but there were some students that did not and there was no extra assistance for those that needed. Less than 50% of the students graduateng from the medical assistant or medical billing and coding programs got a job within 6 months of graduation. the career service staff dont even know how to prepare a resume without misspelling and sent my resume out before I even saw what they put on it.The school is under review and enrollment is so low that most classes are not offered at night anymore. I owe 40000 in debt from student loans and only make 9.75 an hour with no benefits. should gone to Blinn!
