I started attending the COBRA defense class in January and have loved every minute of it. The atmosphere, training and camaraderie are excellent. The technical training is very good, makes a lot of sense, and made me much more confident in my ability to react properly and defend myself after just a few weeks. I wish I had known about this sooner. I would not work out on my own, but the training has motivated me to push myself too. I cannot wait to go back. I can see myself go for the next several years , and when my kids are old enough, I plan on them attending too. Thanks Mr Rob!

I have been active in martial arts for over 10 years. This is bar none the best martial arts and self defense school anywhere. My journey with Colleyville Kenpo Karate as both a student and a parent of kids that were privileged to be instructed by Mr. Rob has been life-changing. My daughter & I have been training with Mr. Rob for over 4 years. When we started looking into taking self-defense classes, we checked out several different studios, and felt Mr. Robs school was the best out there. Mr. Rob is extremely knowledgeable in the arts of Kenpo Karate and other marital arts practices. His teaching skills with kids and adults of all ages is outstanding. I leave every class learning something new every time, and always look forward to the next class. The facility is well maintained, and the camaraderie with the fellow classmates makes the classes fun too.

Mr. Rob is very professional in all his classes. I have enjoyed my 9 months training under his tutelage and seeing a different perspective. I have a black belt in a different martial art style and it has been interesting to be able to have a good friendly discussion on the differences of techniques between the systems. I enjoy learning new ways and adding to my martial arts background.

Our son was being bullied and now has been in karate for over 7 years. The staff is very helpful and Mr. Rob makes sure to communicate what is going with the students and the studio. I have been training here for over 10 years. Flexible class schedules, a wealth of instructor experience and knowledge in a open and encouraging environment. The school is always looking for ways to better serve the needs of the students, be if from different training programs, specialty classes, health and fitness, or other programs of self defense. High emphasis is placed on the student understanding not only the how, but also the why.The facility is top notch! Two large classrooms, changing rooms and lobby. Tuition delivers the most bang for the buck without a lot of confusing fees or hidden costs. If you are serious about self defense or just want a good place to train that emphasizes real world, street applicable techniques and approaches, there really is no other place around!

My son has been taking lessons from Mr. Rob for quite awhile. He loves it. Mr. Rob teaches more than just the moves-he also teaches discipline, integrity, and how to handle bullies.Ive seen the Krav Maga classes and am very impressed.I highly recommend this school.

We are fairly new students. Started classes with the new year. The instructors are very nice, classes are run well, and you progress at a fairly quick pace. I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn a martial art or self-defense. Very family and female friendly.

And dont forget, kenpo martial art is very near real street fighting: you learn what opponents in the street do, how body mechanics works, and of course all kind of techniques to respond to an attack.
