Rental beware! I started a rent to own process about 2015 payed on the instrument for about 4 years and thought so myself hmmm how much is a viola? And why have I payed about $1000 for this one? Their response was wow you definitely dont owe us anymore money, you over paid, however we do not offer refunds! Wait what? If you do not pay attention they will just keep taking your money and not give it back. Two stars because at least they were nice about. So now I have an instrument that was way over priced.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. They have taken a great deal of precautions to keep the store safe, following all protocols. The selection of instruments, accessories, sheet music and other paraphernalia is exceptional.

I absolutely love Graner Music. Charlotte Baker, the owner, is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and personable. If I have ever had a less than stellar experience, they were more than stellar in making it right immediately. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the rental of their exceptional recital hall. I am consistently amazed!

I’ll make this short. With what is going on in the world, I believe I need to say it. I am black and I am a veteran. Between Pandemic and the state of racial unrest, I’ve been feeling quite uncomfortable. Music relaxes me and helps with my PTSD. I needed a part for my bass. I went to Graner Music on Barnes. The service was great. I talked to several employees who directed me to Dean. Literally within minutes I was leaving the store. Problem solved.The place is totally following all guidelines dealing with corvid 19, so you feel and you are safe. They also treated me with dignity and respect. I just wanted to let everyone know this is a good business and good people. This is nothing new. This was not my first visit. They have always treated me and all customers as valued customers.Thank you Graner, you made my day

We rented my sons horn for three years. The rental was as easy as the return. Hes moved on to guitar and is able to find whatever he needs at Graner. Love working with Charlotte and her staff. Thankful to have local business that loves my community as much as I do! Thanks Charlotte for loving music and sharing it with all of us! Music makes our kids smarter and soothes our souls.

Being honest, the teacher was not my favorite. I had too many songs to practice, about 6 at a time, every week. I enjoy piano very much, but I like learning only one or two, maybe three songs at a time. I also enjoy learning songs of my choice. Otherwise, the experience wasn’t bad.

Best music store around, they have amazing instruments and awesome prices on new instruments, also best prices in town for repairs or fine tuning instruments. Overall a great music shop with super friendly and helpful people, I would highly recommend coming here first. This is going to be my go to store for anything music

Absolutely wonderful! I have been using Graner School of Music for many years. The staff is knowledgeable. I purchase sheet music from this store and have purchased several pianos from there. Great prices! Most of the piano teachers also use there superb concert hall to hold their recitals. Extremely accommodating to teachers, students, parents, and other visitors. They also have special events with renowned educators. There is instruction available for different instruments that is conducted in private rooms. They have much to offer.

Chelsea with Graner music is the most unprofessional and unreasonable person I have ever dealt with. I would highly encourage you to go with another company and not rent equipment through this one. The principal at my childs school forewarned me about Graner and I wish I would have listened.

I have been going to Graner Music for years for rental instruments, instrument repairs and reeds. The Employees are always friendly and willing to help you find whatever you need. If they do not have what you need then they will see if they can order it for you. I would recommend the Graner Music over any other music store in Colorado Springs.

I know I wont be going here again, I came to get new strings for my violin. Usually I order online but it was a present from my boyfriend so I came into the store. My violin isnt a fantastic violin but its still my violin. The guy kept trying to push a new violin on me by telling me mine wasnt worth even putting new strings on. I know its not fantastic but that is just really rude, I came in for one thing dont try to push something else on me. Usually buying a new instrument is a huge deal and if someone wants a new instrument they will tell you that right away. Most people dont have the money to drop on a 1,000 dollar violin without thinking about it. I finally got new strings on my violin but I was very unstatisfied without I was treated.
