Clean place, friendly staff that will love your little ones like their own. The Staff adjust their teaching style to your childs needs and abilities making for a fun and memorable experience. Be sure to communicate your comfort level to your teacher to ensure a fluid understanding of how you feel the lessons should go. Ex: Are they water safe? Is that your end goal? Do you want to see them swim professionally later on? Is there a beach trip in the future? Do you want your child pushed to meet your vacation date so you can relax a bit more? You can let your instructor know your expectations. 🙂

Both of my children have attended 1:1 lessons at Little Fins GoG with Chelsea. She is wonderful with both my 3 year old and my 1 year old. The initial emphasis is on teaching water survival (especially the back float)

We love Little Fins! We started survival lessons when my daughter was 7 months old because I wanted her to be water safe. We havent stopped going as she fell in love with it! She is learning the backstroke and diving at 4 years old!Mrs. Kory is an amazing teacher! She is so patient, especially when my daughter isnt in the mood to listen. But shes also playful which helps my daughter, especially at this age, learn so much more than if she was just being dictated to.I highly recommend this place and specifically this teacher if you are looking for someone to teach your kids water safety and/or how to swim.

We LOVE swim lessons at Little Fins with Ms. Kory!!! She is working so well with our 4 year old son and he is progressing more all of the time. It’s apparent how much she cares for her little swimmers, as she encourages and pushes them just enough and then becomes their BIGGEST cheerleader once they accomplish something. The simple fact that these instructors first goal is water safety and surviving a fall in the water, means the world to anxious parents like myself, as we want to ensure that no matter what, our child will know what to do if he comes in contact with water if we are not within reach. Ms. Kory is lively, friendly and lots of fun. She is always working on goals and tailoring lessons based on the child’s needs and comfort. She’s the BEST!!!

We have been taking our 3 year old (now 4) here for about 8-10 weeks. She absolutely loves this place. Her first instructor (Ms.Jeanie) was wonderful and made her feel absolutely comfortable with everything my daughter was doing. Unfortunately, Ms.Jeanie left the school recently.Now we have transfered over to Ms.Chelsea and WOW! We loved her last teacher and thought we were spoiled but it seems that all the teachers here are amazing! Our daughter cant wait for her weekly sessions and is doing so well! Floating on her own and nearly swimming, we couldnt be happier with our experience.Thank you so much Ms.Chelsea! You have done so much for our daughter and are a great teacher.

We absolutely love Little Fins Swim School! Kory is truly amazing at what she does. My 2yo is now water safe and loves jumping in the pool. He asks “ swim, “Kowy”?!” almost every day. My older girls also have had several lessons over the summer. She was great at making it fun but also making sure they learn the skills they were working on.

Our son loves this place. Hes 6 and loves the water. His teacher is Ms. Chelsea who has the most patience with my sons mild ADHD. Weve had about 8 lessons, with no stopping any time soon. The classes are fantastic in which they ensure water safety first by showing him how to float then moved on to more complex movements. Weve already recommended Little Finns to our friends.

Koryn Baker a/k/a Miss Kory has been teaching my grandkids for a little over a year and the progress that both of them have made has been nothing short of incredible!!! She has so much patience and is an excellent instructor. I am so impressed by what she has been able to get a 3 and 5 year-old to do!!! I highly recommend her and Little Fins!!

I have been to a few of the birthday parties at Little Fins and have really enjoyed them. The staff was amazing with the kids. I even tried to use a mermaid tail (not that easy), but such a great experience. My niece and nephew loved the mermaid and the pirate parties, and all the guests had a great time. I would highly recommend the birthday parties at this location!

Little Fins at Mermaid Cove is the best place for littles to learn how to be safe in the water while having fun at the same time! My son is 8 months old and can fall in and float all on his own! I am so grateful for everything Little fins has done for me and my family! I’ve also attended multiple mermaid parties that are great priced and they provide everything you need! Including a Pirate party host and Mermaid in the pool!Highly recommend!

Since their acquisition, The owners/operators/instructors/staff at Little Fins Swim School have done an amazing and impressive amount of improvement to this facility, both aesthetically AND to the services provided at The Garden of The Gods Mermaid Cove location. The hard work and elbow grease they have put into these improvements is clearly evident when you walk through the doors. The best part, is knowing that your children will become water safe in a fun and progressive environment taught by caring and attentive instructors. Everyone at Little Fins/Mermaid Cove puts their all into every aspect of their job.

This place is great! My kids did not know how to swim and now they do. Swimming is one of their favorite things to do now! We tried another Swim School previously and it just did not work out. The hands on lessons were fantastic and experience the teachers had was obvious. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to teach their kiddos to swim.

Such an amazing facility! All the workers are so patient and kind with the children. The workers definitely seem to love what they do, and care about every single child they work with! Ciara worked with my kiddo and she was absolutely wonderful! She is amazing at what she does and makes her work fun!

This place is a amazing! Ms. Mel is a great teacher and patient. The other teachers are great as well. They will teach your children to float and swim.

All three of our children have learned to swim through Little Fins and we absolutely love the program. One of our kids was extremely fearful of the water and not only worked through her fears (with the help of coach Cori) but she went on to make a swim team! The Mermaid Cove location is very clean and we recommend it to all of our friends!

Wonderful place with a great staff! The pool is a warm salt water pool surrounded by underwater scenery and kids learn great water safety techniques as well as competitive swimming techniques. Not to mention birthday parties here are a blast!

Really rude staff asked us to leave when we were waiting for a family in the main building. I have a little girl who wont be going to this over priced pretentious school. Response: safety of children. Do you have children? Are you saying youre staff sees me as a threat? I am a potential customer. Youre saying that just by looking at me I am a safety concern? I am a parent, a tax paying American, and a community member. What discrimination concern do these people have? Look at their response to me, they even write like pretentiously.

My daughter has been a student here for a good 3 years now and its amazing to watch her swim and her skills in swimming developed. Ren and the rest of the staff are nice and know each students need.

While Mermaid Cove is a new swim school, the instructor there is not. She has taught my children at other schools and she is simply amazing! If youre looking for a great swim instructor, contact Ren at Mermaid Cove! She is an extremely strong swimmer, very patient with the kids, and an awesome instructor! My kids just adore her and are so excited to go. We tried other places around town with group lessons and even other private instructors and the kids would cry that they didnt want to go. With Ren, my girls beg to go. Mom to a 14, 7, and 4 year old. Check it out; you wont be disappointed!

We held my daughters birthday there and got the top package and added on the mermaid. It was a 2 hour party that included one hour in the party room and one hour of swimming for $300 and an additional $50 for the mermaid. NOT WORTH IT. When we scheduled the party, the lady said we didnt need to bring ANYTHING except swim suits and towels. She said they took care of entertainment in the party room, food, cake and the mermaid tails for the swimming. The added mermaid was SUPPOSED to teach the girls how to swim with the mermaid tails as well. The entire hour in the party room, the host just stood by the food table. The ONLY thing she did was serve the food. The kids sat there for the whole hour bored out of their minds because there was no games or entertainment besides a room full of toddler toys. For 5-10yr old kids, thats not entertainment. I asked if the kids could start swimming early since they were so bored and she said yes. Then 15 mins later when I said we should start swimming, she said we couldnt swim early. They brought the kids upstairs to change into swim gear at the time they were supposed to start swimming. Which took 10 mins to get 10 kids changed. Then, continued to cut into the hour of swim time by helping the kids pick out the mermaid tails they wanted to use and explain the rules of the pool, which took another 13 mins. So they were left with less then 40 mins to swim and play! They should have done all of that BEFORE the swim time started. Then, to top it all off, the mermaid didnt teach them how to swim in the tails! She just swam around the pool the whole time. I did call and talk to the manager and she only offered me $100 refund. When really we should have paid for the cake and pizza and maybe $50 to be able to swim in the pool! COMPLETELY disappointed and COMPLETE waste of money!! Never will I ever return or recommend this place again!REPLY TO OWNER: im.not going to do a huge back and forth. I told you on the phone that, yes, my daughter had fun swimming but the rest of the time, no she did not. Of course she had swimming! She LOVES swimming. Almost every party shes had, has been a swimming party. But even after the refund, I paid $250 for pizza, cake, and 40 mins of swimming with mermaid tails! Thats ridiculous. The party was not anywhere NEAR what it was supposed to be. Point blank period. Its not the childrens job, or the parents to guide the party when there is a host. The only child playing in the play room was my 18 month old! That should tell you something! Your package and yourself should not state that there is an hour of swim time but part of it is not in the water! Amd there was NO extra swim time. We asked for it and were denied after she had already told us yes we could do that. We were less then 40 mins in the pool!! So like I said... COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. To say you wish you would have more time to talk to me about it when I called... whos fault is it that you didnt have more time!?! You were completely unprofessional when I tried to speak with you. You asked me what happened and 2 I ins into me telling you, you said you had a call on hold and had to call me back. Then, when it was time for you to call back, you TEXTED me and said you couldnt, and that you had to call me back in about 3 hours after your meeting. Who texts someone thats calling to make a complaint? Im not your friend, I was a client. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
