Our son was in Fusion Columbias inaugural class three years ago and graduated last week. He needed a fresh start for high school and Fusion was described as a place that can reach kids who arent thriving socially or academically in conventional school settings . We were told teachers and administrators do this in part by making each kid feel heard and understood as a person and by designing curriculum with the students interests in mind.We enrolled him and these things happened!Thanks to outstanding teachers and administrators (who also know the kids well), our son became a dedicated and capable student, well-loved and genuinely grateful for his time at Fusion.

I had the pleasure of helping the team at Fusion Academy with creating some custom gear for staff and students. This was such a wonderful experience. Everyone I encountered was so thoughtful and caring. I dont have a student at their school but I can see why you would want to send your child there. The passion they have for ensuring inclusiveness and attention to detail is evident. Cant wait to help them again on future projects.

I have a son who is one of those students who does not fit well in the public school system. He is a good person, but just not a fit for public schools. One issue was the confidence to do well in school. Fusion - Columbia, got his history and worked with him to make him feel like he could do well in school. He has grown so much in the two years he attended. He felt so good about school in general, he is even talking about college after high school which was very far from his mind before Fusion. I am very thankful to Fusion not only for the academic support, but the emotional support as well. Thank you Fusion - Columbia and your wonderful staff!

I am so pleased as a grandparent watching my granddaughter transform to a happy, confident, secure teenager. These changes happened when she entered Fusion Columbia. Before Fusion, she went to both private and public schools, but something wasn’t right. I picked her up from school every Tuesday, often wondering why she looked stressed, a little sad, and even angry. Was any part of the day geared to her needs and individuality? I doubted it. Fortunately, she enrolled at Fusion, and she began to blossom. She was able to shine. My granddaughter is a very capable student who is now in a safe and comfortable environment with capable teachers supporting her and her talents. The school offers so many positives. I now see a sweet, 15 year old reaching her potential, making me smile as she has left a good deal of the stress behind. She is no longer sad and is embracing the welcoming culture and guidance from being at Fusion. Thank you to a devoted team with a shared, clear vision of success for my granddaughter and every student. Not only have you helped to make her happier, you have helped to make her family happier.

4 weeks to graduation, my daughter was so behind, that we got a letter from her school saying that she WILL NOT be able to graduate with the class of 2021. She was heart broken, and I was so disappointed in myself for not been able to help her.I googled for tutors, but most of the ones I found did not have any available teacher. I kept searching and praying for God to send me a helper; well, He did, that helper was Mr. Waters who was assigned to my daughter by Fusion Academy. After my daughter met with him for the first time, she was so happy; they both worked together until my daughter caught up with her work 3 days to graduation. YES! She graduated with confident in those subjects that she was behind in.I am so grateful to God for using Fusion Academy to reinstate confident in my daughter. They sure do have an evidence based methodology that works.When I came in with my husband, everyone were so nice and knowledgeable. My first meeting with the Director and the enrollment staff was very promising.My daughter and I will never forget this school, you will forever be in my prayers. You gave a young girl hope, and made her dream to graduate with her friends come true.We hope to continue working with Mr waters through College. They will have a weekly call to make sure that she is on track. My daughter is very comfortable with him, which is very rare. Devin is my daughters algebra teacher this year at Columbia MD Fusion. Math has always been a source of extreme anxiety for my daughter. Add the virtual learning environment, being a high school freshman, and a new school, and I wasnt sure wed make it past the first session. I could not have asked for a better teacher. Devin is so very friendly and accepting of my daughter and her learning styles. He works with them and encourages her at every turn. He was so proud of her score on one test that he virtually walked her around campus to show her off to everyone who was there! That made her feel really special. Since Devin is going to be a father himself, they have a weekend movie club where my daughter helps Devin preview potential movies for his daughter when she is old enough. Its become a very close relationship, even though its online. My daughter continues to do well in math during this strange academic year because of Devin and Fusion Columbia. In fact, she has exceled in every subject there because of the dynamic and caring teachers and staff. Fusion Columbia brought order and success to the craziest year ever!

Attending this school changed everything for my daughter. The staff and their approach of one-to-one education is fantastic. She formed wonderful friendships with the other students and is excited about attending college this autumn.

Im a teacher/mentor at Fusion Columbia, and it is the most fulfilling job Ive ever had. The administration and staff are wonderful, and I love the students dearly. I would send my own kids here in a heartbeat.

My teen has struggled with school for years due to anxiety and learning differences. He would get behind in classes, become overwhelmed, and then give up. With Fusion, he doesnt get anxious because the classes are one-on-one, so he can go at his own pace, doesnt have to worry about the other kids in class, and when we had to take a break due to a health issue, we were able to pause classes and he picked up where he left off. My kid who used to hate school now has all As and Bs!

Caring, supportive, encouraging, affirming, refreshing, positive, are just some of the words I can use to describe what Ive experienced at Fusion. In the midst of academic struggle, Fusion came in and provided us with support and hope to succesfully cross the 11th grade finish line!

Ashley Pawlowitz was a fantastic help to us in getting Flu Clinics in the schools for the staff. Ashley put us through to the Schools Principles and we had a clinic outdoors of the school. I want to thank you Ashley and Lisa for all your help. We are so happy to work with such a professional person and such a wonderful school!

This is the best money I have ever spent. My son went from a D average and was so stressed out, he felt like he was swimming up streamyear after year day after day. It was heart breaking to watch. He kept saying he just cant do it. The teachers would get angry with him thinking he just wasnt trying, which wasnt true at all. His public school its known for being a 10 ranked school in Howard county and its because a lot of students are very academic and study a lot of their free time. My son is an athlete and very social and an average student. The class would be moving too fast for him to ever fully understand the content. When I stumbled across Fusion online I immediately knew it was the school for him. He needed to see how smart he really is. Fusion teaches from where the student is. They have gotten to know my son so much it brings tears to my eyes. He is now an A student which I knew he could be becuase hes very smart but could never show it or manifest it in his grades. At every turn Im more and more impressed with Fusion and my son has NEVER been this confident. Not only because of his grades but because he is finally being SEEN by people he admires and wants to please. My deepest prayers have been answered and it has forever changed him. Its worth evry penny. I would work ten jobs if I had to to get these results. Thank you Fusion for giving my son the oppurtunity to shine the way every child is meant to.
