Both of my kids went to Childrens Manor Montessori in Columbia; my younger daughter is still a student there and will be graduating in 2021. We started there in 2013 and have had only positive experience ever since. The teachers are wonderful, and the Director Miss Jeni is beyond amazing! We never had any issues with the school; the communication is always good. We personally recommended the school to several friends and enjoyed their kids company until they graduated.

All 3 of my children have attended Childrens Montessori School. My youngest is still there. The teachers have been wonderful and both of my older kids that have graduated were well prepared for Kindergarten (both are in above grade classes). The field trips were lots of fun and the summer program was excellent. I would recommend the school to anyone.

We have been at Childrens Manor Columbia for the last year and a half. Our son was 12 weeks old when he started. We did several tours before selecting CMMS and this was the only school that the teachers actually seemed comfortable, warm, and outgoing when walking into their classrooms. This continued even after we started school (even the teachers from the other classes would greet us warmly as we came in and out every day). Many of the teachers had been there 10+ years though this changed a bit since the pandemic. However, the new teachers that my son has had have been excellent and he loves them. I also appreciate that they are now sending out daily reports with pictures of what they are doing in class that day. Both my husband and I are essential frontline workers and the school has been open throughout the pandemic with exception of about 3 weeks. These teachers put their health and safety on the line to care for my child and I have the upmost respect for their professionalism and dedication.

My children (ages 3 and 6) have been attending CMMS for 3 years. We are so happy here. The staff are so caring and its obvious they love what they do. My kids have learned and grown so much in the time they have been at CMMS. Not only do they focus on developing reading and math skills, they also study other cultures, history, activities of daily living, science, etc. CMMS provides a safe and nurturing environment and a well-rounded curriculum for young children.

We have sent all 3 of our children to Childrens Manor Montessori - and could not be happier with our experience. It is truly a unique, nurturing environment - and our kids were all well-prepared to enter Kindergarten. I would highly recommend CMMS to anyone looking for a safe, dependable place for their kids.

I researched daycares all over the area and am SO grateful we found CMMS Columbia. Ms. Jeni is amazing as well as all the teachers. There is very low (if any) staff turnover and my child thrives here.

Our children love this school! The director and all the teachers they have had over the years have been wonderful! My daughter looks forward to going to school each day and I believe they are the reason she loves learning. Both kids are very happy when I pick them. We love the school!

I love Childrens Manor Montessori. The love and support the director (Mrs Jenny) and faculty have towards the children and families is truly unique and very special. CMMS is one of the best decisions I have made for my children. Our journey with CMMS started 13 years ago. We were new to the area and wanted the best educational start for our children. (we moved to Howard county for the schools.) After meeting with Mrs Jenny, the decision was made and we enrolled our two little nuggets into the program. Both my children started Kindergarten well prepared. They could read, complete math problems, etc. Without a doubt, their educational foundation was established at CMMS. Education aside, what makes CMMS the best option is the amazing faculty.. I had a third child a decade later... He will be graduating from CMMS and entering Kindergarten this fall. What is amazing about this situation, his teachers have been the same teachers that taught my older two children a decade ago. They all remember his older brother and sister and everyone is excited when they visit. This place will treat you like family...

My son had been associated with this school for about 3 years (Full-time, 5 full days). From the time he had been enrolled and while I write this review, I did not had any single regret for choosing this school. Indeed I feel very proud that I have taken the very right decision of placing him in this school (Childrens Manor Montessori School, Columbia) since then when he turned 2 years. The teachers are very amenable, humble, and so much caring that my son had been well-trained not only in academics but also well groomed personally as a growing and ever improving child ready to take his next step to Kindergarten - I am confident that he has become Kindergarten ready. Having said that, while I write this review I also feel deeply saddened to see him say goodbye in the next couple of months to his School Director, all his teachers, and fellow friends because his time at this school is going to be cherished as a once in a lifetime experience when he will leave school to start his next journey in his life. I will speak to him about this school and his experience at the school when he grows up so he is able to recollect and speak to his early childhood days education. He had a fantastic time in his Pre-Primary (2- 3.5 years) and Primary (3.5 -5 years) class programs which had tamed him to understand and gain solid hands-on foundational knowledge in Language Arts, Mathematics counting and numbers, Letters and Words, and no doubt in his Social-Emotional Well being as a growing child. What makes this school so special in my heart (based on my understanding and interaction) is the School Directors humbleness, her efforts in leading the school staff and children in a composed manner, the way parents request are handled in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, teachers sense of caring/ individualized attention for the children who need additional care and help when needed and that I have seen built some level of self-confidence and independent thinking in my child, and imparting Montessori method of teaching and quality education in all their activities at school. The level of effort that went into putting together distance learning home assignments and activities by the school teachers was much appreciable and a commendable hard work during the Covid-19 pandemic disease crisis. My sincere thanks to all the Teachers at the school and the School Director and Distance Education team for making this happen while my son was at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. There was equality to all students without any discrimination, regardless of their capabilities and disabilities. Surely, I will recommend Childrens Manor Montessori School - Columbia location for future parents to consider for their children Pre-K programs (Pre-primary and Primary) and also to consider their infant/ toddler program which I havent had a chance to try as my son started this school only when he was 2 years old. Lastly, the monthly tuition rate charged was very reasonable when compared to other schools that I have inquired and heard about. So, no second thoughts comes to my mind in recommending this school to future parents/ their children as there are no negative areas that I could think that would take this school off from my mind. Thank you to the School Director (CMMS, Columbia) and her teachers for making my sons experience a memorable and a positive childhood experience at school. Great Job and Teamwork - On a scale of 5 points, I give this school a 5 points. Keep up your good work.
