This is a great little swim school. I went to watch my friends son practice, and enjoyed the environment. The people were friendly. The kids enjoyed their lessons, and enjoy working with the coaches/instructors. They have adult classes true, and Im definitely going to look into them.

Macher Swim School has one of the best pools for learning to swim in the area. It may look humble from the outside, but the warm water and appealing paintings in and above the pool are exceptionally helpful to young swimmers. In addition, the years of teaching knowledge that Joanne and the other staff possess are unparalleled. A first rate place to swim.

Great instructors and economical price

This was the worst/ unacceptable experience I have ever had with my daughter. The woman in charge asked me if my daughter was adopted or a foster child I’m assuming because she is Bi Racial. Then she told me that she is not able to listen and maybe she should be in another class after only 3 min of working with her. My daughter is only 3 years old !!! The facility was unorganized and dirty. I will NEVER go back.

Great Place. Staff are wonderful!

Our whole family has trusted and appreciated how the proper way swimming is taught. (Over 20 years). All the instructors are well trained. If you want your kid to start of with proper technique and be a safe swimmer, there is no better place for lessons!

They taught my 17 mouth old son how to swim in about 8 lessons! Hey can swim under water and hold his breath for what seems to be a long time for me as a parent, but he does hold his breath until he hits the service while kicking and pulling his arm forward. They also taught him that if he fells in the pool how to get to the edge and pull him self up out of danger. They have just turned him into a little fish now, he loves going every time. would recommend them to anyone wanting to teach there child how to swim.

Our kids have improved thier swimming immensely since we started with Macher. Great coaches, friendly and effective teachers. Take your kids here to learn how to swim!!

Super sad that I didnt get to experience Macher with my daughter. I took lessons growing up and wanted my daughter to do the same. Unfortunately I couldnt sign her up because they would not answer their phone during posted business hours. I tried 5 different times and left 2 messages. Very unprofessional. Looks like I will be taking my business to the arc.

My kids and I are taking swim lessons at Machers. I have really enjoyed my lessons. Before I was afraid to put my head under water, and now I like to swim underwater. I am also working on diving into the water. If you or your kids dont know how to swim or even if they do, I know that everyone will learning something new. The Staff is very knowledgeable, and helpful to demonstrate different swimming techniques that you can use at your leisure, excersize, for sport, or as a profession.

Machers swimming method really works!

Would not recommend. Had a terrible experience and pulled my child mid lesson as I was concerned for his safety. I was refunded the money for the lesson.

Customer service isnt great. But the instructors are quite good. Pool could use updating.

Great staff for teaching young children to swim

These folks do a great job

Daughter went through her school. Was allowed to sink to the bottom (her words) because the boy (instructor) wasnt watching her. Now shes deathly scared of swimming. Macher wouldnt refund and only offered credit towards future lessons (not helpful since daughter is petrified of the water now). Bottom line, sent her to lessons with Macher and now she hates swimming and panics near pools.

Margie is an excellent teacher helping my wife in water aerobics she has arthritis in both hips helps with her pain
