Corporate here is a nightmare — had high expectations for this school based on previous student praises and the instructors available upon first starting classes but those instructors have since been fired for petty reasons. Students are expected to weld in unsafe conditions and not entitled to simple liberties like 30 minute lunch breaks. 30 minute lunch breaks were initially in the handbook but corporate decided to remove it (after student enrollment and paying tuition). This school is more worried about maintaining their accreditation than having enough instructors to lead their classes and the wellbeing of students. Corporate pretends to care about student concerns but failed on multiple occasions to take their feedback into consideration. The majority of the instructors ArcLabs does have (and had in the past month) are amazing leaders and worthwhile connections to add to your network. Unfortunately, corporate drives them away or fires them before they get smart enough to leave. ArcLabs could be a great facility for both learning and expanding your network, but they need a massive amount of work on the admin side — they can start by taking student needs into consideration. Be wary of leaving reviews under your real name, because corporate doesn’t like that either. :)

Only structural welding and some pipe, limited at that. No aluminum or fabrication training. Very poor facility and the staff turns over every few months. Good place to practice if you already have a background in welding but if youre just beginning you will get left behind. Arc labs claims they help with job placement which is a bold faced lie. Was happy to have a place to brush up and practice before getting a job though.Edit: they do not certify welders

Very attentive staff that remember your name when you walk through the door. Always friendly. Cleaner than I thought it would be for a welding school.

The school did not call me back. Did not respond to my messages. Midland technical college did return my call.

Im a student here taking the 900 hour course (it takes about 5-6 months), but they offer other a viriety of options. Before I got here, I had very little knowledge about welding but since then, Ive progressed through the ciriculum and am now looking at getting a job making $30+/hr. This is the best investment that Ive made by far. I made the decision to come here because of their option to work at my own pace. If youre thinking about getting into a good trade quickly, this is the place.

Absolutely terrible experience. I was told I cannot enroll in class because I do not have a cosigner. I have no family to ask for help Im 22 years old and just recently came across a great job opportunity i first just need my welders certificate. Arclabs offered no help in finding solutions to help me attend class. Instead of scheduling a meeting with the financial advisor to find a solution for someond in my position (a young man with no family living on his own trying to better his life) Arclabs basically just wiped there hands clean of Me. I feel very dishonored by these people. They are hired to try and help students like me, not just turn there heads because I dont have a mommy and daddy with the cash to pay my way upfront. Thank you Arclabs you guys deserve a nice round of applause for absolutely sucking at your job.
