Our experience at Brain Balance has far surpassed our expectations! We have recently finished the program with our 6 year old and can honestly say - it’s changed our life! We are sad to not be seeing our Brain Balance family so regularly but are so happy to continue on our journey armed with a better path created by Brain Balance. The people have truly made a difference in our lives and have also made some massive impressions on our hearts! Thank you for helping my kiddo feel more grounded in this world and more comfortable in his skin. We are grateful to you all!

We were referred to brain balance by family that had said they had good results. When we were told of the astronomical cost and the fact that it was going to be a huge commitment driving across town multiple times per week we thought there was no way we could do it. But we decided that it would be worth the money if it helped out 9 year old daughter. We were also told that our satisfaction was guaranteed so at that point I thought what do we have to lose. Over $8,000 later I wish I could say that there was no change in her behavior but there definitely was. Unfortunately it was the wrong direction. When my daughter started there she was the sweetest person I knew but she also was very emotional and her feelings were hurt very easily. Ever since the treatment/therapy sessions she has become an angry person and hurt feelings are the same as always. I wont go into details but the important thing was there was no improvement what so ever and the money we spent apparently gone. The company puts the kids through a series of verbal and mental exercises each week with the results compared to previous weeks. If the child improves in those exercises each week they progress on to the next one and so forth. So it is deemed a success for the child if they eventually can complete all of the exercises. While this might be true it means nothing if it has zero impact on the childs behavior. But it does offer a convenient way of them holding on to your money so they can say that your child progressed as promised. I see other positive testimonies so maybe it will work for your child. Just dont be surprised if you throw away the price of a nice car for nothing in return. I would give them zero stars but the staff were all extremely nice so they push it up to 1 star.

I really cannot say enough about the Brain Balance experience! The staff members are phenomenal! The program is awesome! My child is a different person...more relaxed, more focused and much less impulsive and agressive. Thank you so much for your help!

When we began our journey at Brain Balance it was so refreshing to finally have a team of professionals that had the same dreams for your child as yourself. Debby and Katie really put their whole heart into the children and are so supportive and refreshing to work with. Our daughter has grown so much since we walked in the door that we have found hope that we did not have before. The entire team is so amazing! Everyone is so awesome and supportive every day and it is so refreshing to feel accepted and supported. If you haven’t walked in their door if you have a child struggling I urge you to immediately go! They will not only change your child’s life, but will also help you to better understand and support them. We will always be grateful for our Brain Balance family because we know that our daughter will have a better quality of life. Thank you so very much for what you do please don’t ever stop providing hope and a path!

A good friend recommended Brain Balance to us when I shared with her the struggles my daughter was having in school. We had consulted with her school psychologist who had pushed a doctor and medication, and we really wanted to avoid that for our little girl. She started Brain Balance a year ago and just graduated from the program. We cannot say enough amazing things about Brain Balance - our daughter is a different person: more confident, focused, strong, balanced and brave. Brain Balance has given her the tools she needs to succeed and has in turn given us as parents a road map to helping her achieve her best self. Her grades have skyrocketed this year and her athletic abilities have improved as well. This program has changed our lives and means the world to us - the coaches and staff have treated our little girl like family and we wholeheartedly recommend this program for any child struggling. It is a true comfort to us to know that our daughter has improved so much without any medication at all. We would do this program again in a heartbeat!

We sent one of our kids through the program to help with her ADHD. She did 3 times a week for 5 months. Prior to BB, homework was so stressful for her and for us. She would get so upset and it would literally take hours to complete the simplest of tasks. Her grades were all over the place as well. Since completing BB, she is laser focused and has received solid Ms on every report card since graduating. Our school uses M as meeting the standard. She receives intervention services and since completing BB, she has graduated from the reading fluency portion of the intervention services and is almost up to grade level with the comprehension piece as well. She no longer has to meet with the math intervention specialist like she used to either. She said she remembers what it was like before going through BB and she is so happy that we made the choice to send her through the program.When her sister starting having some trouble with anxiety, we immediately thought of BB and also sent her through the program. She also did 3 times a week for 5 months. The change has been nothing short of miraculous. She has made unbelievable progress.We cannot say enough about Brain Balance. From the customer service, the caring coaches, the amazing results. We didnt look at the cost as an expense but more of an investment in our childrens future. They have both benefitted more than we could have ever imagined and we are beyond happy with our decision.

Brian Balance transforms children’s lives as well as their families. They have a holistic program that helps the child form the brain pathways they need to do better in school, engage socially, read, and more. They really do perform miracles and it’s worth the cost. Highly recommend!

We love the Brain Balance staff and our daughter’s coach. They are all very friendly, positive and encouraging. The program has helped our daughter to become less impulsive, concentrate better, pass her driver’s permit test ( which she couldn’t concentrate to do before) and become a waitress as well! (Which her ADHD aunt said would never be able to happen🙃.) We are half way through the program and have seen some regression, which is likely do to slacking on the home exercises. We are very hopeful about what the second half of the program will bring. BB Columbus, Ohio

This place is BY FAR the most amazing experience we have had with our son. We started here in October 2018 and just finished May 2019 and it was worth every second. There is ups and downs from your child through the program and that is perfectly normal. I highly recommend this if you are like we were and struggling to find something to help your child just be happy and have a happy childhood while dealing with things. He had ODD and anxiety and you wouldnt even know that now. My son never complained about coming here and the staff is ALL so loving, caring, helping and just flat out wonderful.

While the staff we met was very nice and welcoming we simply do not have the means to afford tuition ($5900 for 3 months alone).It would had been nice to know this before paying for the initial testing for testing but I suppose thats my fault for not pressing further during the first call with them.

We are so thankful for this office of such caring, understanding and loving individuals! The staff, coaches, directors and other families we met have all made such a positive impact on our whole family, not just our son who went through the program! To be understood and validated has been such a gift. And, the positive and enthusiastic environment made it easy to acclimate weekly visits there into our calendar.I am grateful we will be able to keep in touch for check-ins in the months and years come.

My daughter was diagnosed with adhd and odd (which you cant medicate) and I didnt want to medicate anyway. I heard about brain balance and thought I would see what they had to offer, it was the best decision I ever made. The only sad part is, is insurance doesnt cover this program instead they would rather medicate. But with help of friends and family my daughter is better not only with her attitude she is happier in life. I recommend brain balance to anybody I know that has problems with their children and even people I do not know.

Brain Balance was able to help my daughter some . She had Lyme PANS PANDAS and now she is 18 and is doing a lot better 🙂 I would recommend brain balance highly !

Brain Balance of Columbus is an amazing place with an amazing staff! I would highly recommend them to any family/child struggling with any type of learning and developmental dissabilities. My 10 year old son recently completed the program and we are beyond grateful for the progress he has made, and for each staff member that has worked with him & supported us through this journey.When we initially took him to Brain Balance we were at our wits end. We didn’t understand why he was struggling to focus and stay on task during class. Year after year we would brainstorm with his teachers and try everything we could think of to help him, but nothing worked. Homework time was an absolute nightmare. Nightly he or I would end up in tears or an argument. He was struggling so hard to get good grades. There were a lot of smaller concerns too such as poor writing, poor coordination, etc.We went into Brain Balance with a lot of questions, very apprehensive, and truly wondering if they could even help. The very first day we went for his assessment, I learned so much about why he was struggling the way he was, what causes it, and how their program works. I was shocked with not only the information I received, but how genuinely kind & compassionate their staff was. When we went back for the results of assessment our eyes were opened even more. We knew without a doubt we were in the right place.Throughout the process it was great to see our son advance and mature. Within 6 weeks of beginning the program his teacher approached me with excitement to tell me about several improvements she had noticed in Aidan since he began the program. The principal even noticed these positive changes when dropping by to observe the class. The changes and progress continued throughout the program and will continue for moths after his completion which we were excited to hear!I cannot thank the Brain Balance staff enough. They were excellent. They were knowledgeable, professional, caring and compassionate. We quickly recognized that they love what they do and are passionate about seeing kids succeed. I appreciated that they always stayed in good communication with us and kept us updated on his progress. They treated us like family.The coaches were wonderful with our son. When he neared his completion of the program he was partially excited, but also partially sad because he knew he was going to miss his coaches greatly. He really enjoyed the time he spent with them each week.The day our son finished the program is a day we will never forget. All the hard work, sacrifice and commitment had paid off. The clap out celebration was so sweet and the way everyone made him feel was so amazing. Always so uplifting and encouraging!We are so thankful that a family member referred us to Brain Balance and wish we had acted on it sooner. Our son has come such a long way and we will be forever grateful for all Brain Balance has done to help him get to where he’s at today!
