My son was enrolled here for a little over a year (age 3-4) and overall it was a nice establishment. They always did a ton of fun activities and during the summertime, they had even extra things for them to do. I’d say the establishment also stayed pretty clean and organized. They send you photos of your child throughout the day along with a report at the end of the day listing what they did, when they did it, down to naps and even what food they were served. They also have cameras and you can pay extra to have access to the live video surveillance which I liked. From what I observed the younger children (babies-2yo) were well taken care of too. The babies were always smiling and happy when I’d see them around or outside with the staff. My son’s pre-k1 teacher was Ms. Eileen who I cannot speak highly enough of. She is a super hero of a teacher, having up to 14 toddlers to herself and she cared for all of them with compassion and respect. However after my son turned 4, he was scheduled to move to the next class (pre-k2) with Ms. Liza which I simply was not willing to put my son through. For the last year, I could hear her yelling at her students from down the building and that was pretty much a constant. I made it very clear when I brought my son back (after I returned to work during the pandemic) that regardless of the fact that my son has recently turned 4, I was not going to have him return unless he stayed in Ms. Eileen’s classroom. Fast forward to just before I pulled him from COA, the director/staff started “transitioning” my son into Ms. Liza’s classroom (pk-2) without my knowledge or consent. I found out from my son after he was having meltdowns first thing in the morning when he was told he had school that day. When I brought it to Ms. Stephanie’s (director) attention, she tried to play it off as a miscommunication and that she didn’t know I was not comfortable with my son switching classrooms, which was simply not true.Bottom line, the center is decent. I chose it because they accepted title 20. It’s not exceptional nor is the curriculum, however I believe your children will be cared for UNLESS they are going to be in Ms. Liza’s classroom (age 4)She is harsh, strict and yells constantly at the children. Which I just couldn’t make my son endure so I pulled him from the center and have since enrolled him elsewhere. Hope this review helps for those searching for a new center.

Sceduled a virtual tour, they canceled it, saying that they had training that day. They promised to reschedule and call me. Never got a call. Very unproffesional. Will not take my kid there. Glad that they showed their disorganization before I took my kid there.

Children Of America is the best child care I’ve ever can across in my 3 years of being a parent. There is no doubt about my children’s safety while I’m away. The teachers and staff are extremely friendly and they get to know each child. My children has only been there for almost a month and every morning, since the first day, there’s a warm and welcoming “Good Morning” waiting on us! I love everything about Children Of America. I don’t believe I could’ve made a better choice. Children Of America IS THE BEST CHOICE!

Children of America Columbus has been a God-send for my family! There is no other center like this out there. You can tell the difference between this center in others just by walking in the door. The children here are some of the happiest and that is just a sign of how good these teachers and management are. Im so happy I heard about COA!

I was working here as an employer and at the same time enrolled my child as well. the experience i had here was just horrible i don’t know what else to explain it. i can go all day explaining but one warning i will give to parents is that when your touring around don’t be fooled by all the welcomes because that’s what exactly happened with me. on the first day my son wasn’t fed lunch at all until i came in to ask how he was doing then they remembered which is pretty horrible for the first day. i’m glad to have worked here because if i didn’t i don’t know what else would have happened to my son. as a parent when i addresses the issue with trish i was told directly to my face that i don’t have a right which really surprised me. all the neat place and welcoming staff members won’t do anything if your child and yourself aren’t valued as you should be. when you bring your children you want them to feel at home but it was a different case for me. i would advice the parents who are still willing to enroll their children to at least watch the cameras closely because it sure aren’t sweet and happy endings. the director of the center got such an attitude that any parent wouldn’t even trust their child with her.

We love the summer camp program! Both the field trips and on-site activities are engaging, fun, and educational. Daily updates often provide great details along with snapshots and videos of our sons day. He looks forward to spending time with terrific friends, teachers, and staff at CoA.

He is excited to go to school every morning and he talks about his friends and teachers all the time! I really feel that the teachers care about my son as an individual and want to see him grow and learn. He is always learning new things and telling me about the fun activities he does at school. My daughter has been going here for either before/after school care or their summer program for two years. I am very happy with the communication I receive from the school (a daily summary of meals and activities, usually with pics/viedo).The staff is great, very friendly, and LOW LOW turnover. Director and co-director are kind. The summer program is great. Each year has a theme, and educational activities are geared towards the theme. They also go on a ton of field trips - weekly movie, ice skating, roller skating, the zoo, cavern, picnics at the park. My daughter has a blast, and I love that she is able to do activities and experience different things.

This daycare is high quality for a manageable price. They have a great director who makes me feel as though she knows everything about my child even though she is not her teacher. She also really makes sure that the teachers are always kept mindful of how they can be keep things tip top.My toddler is potty training and I felt so relieved to have her teachers on board with this process and on the same page. This facility has a wonderful security program that allows you as the parent to watch security cameras in your childs classroom room if you pay. The presence of a parent connected security system adds a lot of accountability, and whether you pay for it or not it is nice to know it is there. It is FREE during your childs first month at the center. This was such a great way to build trust for me when my toddler started.Meals are included in your fees. I thought this added to the affordability. The meals are balanced and are ALWAYS pork free. This was important to us. For vegetarian families they also have vegetarian meals available. The socialization of a daycare is irreplaceable. Their curriculum is sound and prepares your child to excel when they start school. They have plenty of fun activities that keep kids excited. They also have an amazing multi-purpose room for the kids to play in on rainy or cold days. This special room is called City Place. It is equipped with a ball pit and play houses. It is big and really gives the kids room to burn off some energy. We have been to other daycares and tried the babysitter route. Children of America is the best choice for our family that gives me peace of mind and gives my baby a safe fun place to be during the days.

My daughters been going here since she was about 5 months old, and is 2 years old now. Shes moved up through four classrooms and in each one Shes had amazing experiences. Ive watched her grow and learn so much during this time, I couldnt be happier with the care that this location provides. My husband and I both work long hours and Im in school full time. Our obligations would not be as easy to handle if we werent entirely sure that our daughter is in good hands while we arent with her. All of the teachers and staff know her name and let her greet them with hugs when she comes in the building. The reports that we get at the end of the day about the things that she does each day are amazing. I would highly recommend this school!

COA Columbus is the best! I cant thank all the team there enough on how well they take care of my little girl. She was a tiny 11-week baby when she started and they worked and are still working in a ways that Im sure she is in great care, learning a lot, and really happy. Now, 1 year later, she celebrates when we get to the parking lot and barely says goodbye to me when I leave. That shows how well she is there. Thank you one more time COA Columbus family, you rock!

My daughter is now almost 3 and she has been with COA since she was just a few weeks old. We are currently moving and are so sad that she will no longer be attending COA. I cannot say enough good things about this place- we have watched our daughter grow, learn and thrive under the patient, loving and wonderful environment provided by the teachers and staff of Children of America. Our daughter truly loves every second she spends at COA and I am constantly amazed and impressed with all that she learns each day. We will truly miss this establishment and everyone who works there. Special shout out to Miss Lisa who has been with our daughter since the very beginning, Miss JoJo and Miss Sarah who both helped her during her adventurous (and sometimes naughty) toddler/ twos, Miss Eli who almost single handedly potty trained her, and Miss Trish who runs this amazing place. We are so thankful for all COA has done for our little girl. Thank you!!

I would like to say I have been using this daycare since my 13 year old was 4. Even though teachers and Directors has change since then I still entrust COA with the care of my children.Let me first tell you that the teachers are awesome with the kids. Each teacher is fit to what age group that they will teach and the interactions with my children and teachers are great. My 11 month old has been here since she was 4 months and she loves the teachers (maybe a little too much ;) ) makes me feel comfortable to have her with them. My son loves everyone. The director as well as her assistants are great they jump to your concern within the matter of seconds. Truthfully the director Ms. Tish is the best person to over see a child care facility. From day one she has been awesome and her passion and dedication for her position is none like no other. If you are looking for a place for your child COA is the place. They have cameras that you can see your child for new moms or parents that have never had their children in daycare. On top of that COA is excess able via phone app, it gives you reports on your child, updates on whats going on, and my favorite part is the pictures you get so you do not miss a moment of your little one. They transport your children to school and back to the daycare. During Summers Camp WOW keeps your child excited to talk about their day with all the trips they go on. Tuition is reasonable and those who have title 20 they accept that here as well. Its worth the tour. This is an all around daycare. 10 Plus Stars high recommended in my book. and do add I am a very pleased COA mom who enjoys my children being here.
