My grandson, Andre Hunt, Jr is a 2nd grader at Franklin Academy. He has had a great experience here and the teachers and administrators seem to be very cooperative to the needs of the students and their parents. Now that he has to have school virtually because he is an at risk child with SickleCell they work to make sure hes involved as much as possible.

Went there first in 1977 got to step back in it again first in 1999 and again in October 31/2019 It’s amazing how this school has still managed to hold up after all these years it’s still a very beautiful building to look at with its classic Greek/southern design everytime I past it just brings back so many memories of me and childhood friends playing on the playground right next to and me watching the court square towers building going up for the first time and also we buried a time capsule near the staircase on the front near the principals office Mr .sanford was a young principle back then I still can remember where that capsule is buried but then I’m also 50 years old now too !!!🤔🤣
