I visited Maize Road Elementary School today. The door was locked, and the kids in the hallway went and brought back a Mr. Dennis to help me. What a nice and great guy. I told him I was delivering a cage to the Special Needs teacher who also works in animal rescue. He walked over and tapped on a classroom window to tell her I was there. She came outside to meet me and unlock her car. Then Mr. Dennis said he would carry the big cage from my car to hers. My only experience was today in the parking lot with the schools congenial, polite, good-natured and helpful Janitor, Mr. Dennis, but I am sure all the students and staff enjoy interacting with this very nice gentleman every day, and I just wanted to comment what a great asset he is to the school.

I really dont understand how this school could have such a low rating. After my child was displaced by another nearby school, without me even knowing it, the principal welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond her duties to get her and us situated and straightened the whole mess out. I wish the other principal was more professional during the situation, but Im VERY EXCITED for my daughter to now be at Maize!!! I will admit I was upset due to seeing the rating, but I can now see that you cant go by them at all.

I go there and I have an amazing teacher Mrs.potts I really dont have problems there and the janitor Mr.Carter is really nice. 💯 awesome school !

I love this school the teachers are nice I wish my others friends didnt have to leave 😔But overall its a pretty good Ive never been bullied by any of the kids the kids are great and so are the teachers.

Im here at this school now and i like playing with the preschools astohton is the best

I love this school i am so sad that i am in 5th casue after this year i will leave. I wish ms. henry was not leaving she was the best principal ever.
