I loved my daughters kindergarten teacher, but as a whole this school is a mess. Call for information, the people dont identify themselves, are rude, and not trying to help in any way. I cant believe people would pay money to go to school to help people, but then want nothing to do with actually helping a parent or student. When someone talks about how horrible public school is, this one always pops into mind.

OMG my grandson and I have experienced some of the same problems, when I went to the principal he was non-challant and was told if my grandson didnt hit back it would be just an assult but since he starting fighting back its a fight and of course hes been suspended at least 3 different times in the second grade. The teachers pick and chose who their favorite students are. Ive seen how they look over him when his hand is raised so I raised my hand for him. Oh since January I go to school with my grandson and a lot of the complaints have stopped. My plans are to get him out of this school because he is has been abrused long enough at Watkins.

Watkins is the school my children currently attend. There is a boy in fourth grade that is making death threats to the students. He was found carrying a pocket knife and was not disiplined. My child told me hes been saying his grandpa has lots of guns and that hes going to come to school and shoot everyone. He told one little girl that he is going to find where she lives and kill her entire family. He tells her that he is going to chop off her head and play with her eyeballs. I called the principle on Friday and told him I want the boy out for the remainder of the school year. He didnt seem to care so I told him my children wont be back for the rest of the year. His repose was, well your kids will have several days of unexcused absenses. My response was, at least they will be safe. I then called the police and made a report. Afterwards I called the board of education and they asked for me to give them until Monday to do something. I will be contacting 6 on my side if nothing gets done about this.

I went to this school from k-5th grade. Its not the best elementry but i enjoyed my time there.
