I chose this dojo because I was so impressed with all the precautions that were being taken to keep things safe for kids during covid. Temp checks, masks (and they will be told to pull them up if they fall below the nose!), hand sanitizer at entry and a very clean facility make me feel super safe. My 6 yo has been going for a few months and always looks forward to the class. Im very impressed with the way Rodger is able to keep a room of young kids so engaged and organized!

Called in and the owner is not the friendliest. I Asked him about the program as I two younger boys. He responds well what do you wanna know? and seemed put out that I had inquiries about his program. Seemed like a bit of a jerk to say the least. He kind of reminded me of John Kleese from Cobra Kai. Because of his attitude we decided to pick a different Dojo!

My son has been attending USA Seibukan for a couple of months and really enjoys the classes. The instructor is well organized, has a great rapport with the students and is taking all the necessary precautions to safely carry out classes during the pandemic. I look forward to my son continuing to train and learn here in the future.

My son(4 years old) has been attending for a few months and LOVES it. They are no nonsense and fun at the same time. Would suggest them to anyone with a young child wanting to learn Karate.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about the dojo and the instructors. Both the karate and the life lessons they teach foster confidence and reasoning skills, and the bond formed between the students within the dojo is quite strong. Having helped mold me into a more confident, more empathetic, and harder working man, I would highly recommend anyone to give this place a shot.

My 9 year old just started Karate at this Dojo (Training Center) and we are already very impressed with the Instructors along with his quick progress. The Instructors are very knowledgeable, experienced, flexible, and patient! In addition, the discipline he is learning has also transferred to our home environment - which is a great bonus!!! My son began karate at this dojo almost two months ago. He enjoys himself immensely and is able to get help from the instructors and even the students when needed. My son feels like part of a family and is provided with help in a way that doesn’t make him feel bad but instead helps him grow.The activities done in class help him to gain control of his body, work on balance, and teach him about karate in a fun way. He truly enjoys coming to karate and I enjoy seeing what he’s learned.

My 9 year daughter has gone here for 3 years now and we couldnt be happier. Its the one thing she has stayed with after trying all the typical child sports (soccer, softball, lacrosse, swimming, ...). Even though groups can sometime get large they find a way too teach to the individual and each child is taught based on how they learn. Kids are allowed to progress at their own pace while always getting challenged to be better. A very positive experience.

My 9 yr old grand daughter enjoys her training here. She is socially shy and was being bullied at school. With Shihan Pyle she has started to come out of her shell and feels more confident. I would recommend training here.

Best sport for my children to learn self-discipline. They have been training at the dojo for more than 6 years. Their confidence, manners and self-awareness are impressive to other parents and commented upon. I wish I could take the credit but Rodger Pyle teaches both body and mind discipline in a way that is easy and straight-forward for children. I highly recommend!

I watched my daughter go all the way through to black belt. I am very proud of her. But this isnt about her, its about me. I love karate. I love where I am (first brown belt), and I love my friends. Theres no better feeling than being a brown belt at 63. I love the mutual respect that training fosters. I love it when my friend Josh comes at me like a locomotive, and I have to defend myself. There is no better feeling than being treated like a person by people that you respect. Thank you, Shihan Rodger Pyle!

The facility, instructors, and overall environment is positive and inclusive. The instruction itself, is direct and fun. My 9 yr old son loves going and focuses well, he says the time flys. My son, and the other kids in the class, are actually enthusiastic about learning.

I have been a student for over four years. My son started a year before me and my daughter when she turned four. I can think of no better place to learn martial arts than at this dojo. I feel welcome when I come to class. If I have had a bad day, I always feel better after a class. I cannot say enough about the benefits the martial arts have on the mind and body. I will be a student until I am unable to physically participate. There is truly something special about USA Seibukan Martial Arts Training Center.
