Phenomenal! Megan prepared me for my re audition as vocalist back into my undergrad program after taking years off from a vocal injury! She was extremely knowledgeable and able to work with all ages and skill levels! I learned things I didn’t even learn as a music major on the collegiate level from her that has changed my entire career as a musician!

We have been taking lessons for over a year now and we love it! My son is learning so much and the teachers are very good at communication and accommodating needs for their students.

Our piano lessons with Megan have been wonderful. Megan is a great communicator with my 7-year old daughter, who looks forward to her lessons and to practicing piano. My 9 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Matt P for a little over a year now, and we’ve been so happy with her development. She initially wasn’t thrilled with the idea, but after the first lesson she loved it. The teachers make lessons fun, and my daughter loves to play the piano now! Her favorite is playing for friends and family when they come. I hope she’ll continue her love of music, and Musicologie has definitely helped her start off on the right note.

My daughter and son take virtual piano and drum lessons from Regan and Matt, respectively. The curriculum is laid back and fun. The kids are comprehending a ton during the short lessons, and both teachers are really kind and patient. They really understand how to connect with and motivate the kids. Good stuff all around.

I am an adult student and I’ve been taking vocal and piano lessons for almost 3 years now with Liz, and it has been great! Liz is very knowledgable and she tailors the lesson based on my progress so that I can continue to get better without any frustration, but still provides enough challenges needed to facilitate improvement. Musicologie has wonderful instructors and very flexible lesson times. They can also find a teacher for any instrument you want to learn and therefore the flexibility to try other instruments. I also enjoy the group classes and extra add ons, my kids especially liked learning the art of beatboxing.

This has been an amazing place for music lessons for our 8 and 10 year old daughters for the last couple years. Specifically, the teachers have been the key. He blends the technical with the creative, and has put in countless extra hours for special projects they have worked on together.Nick Terelle - Guitar: his patience with what can be a difficult instrument to get started on for a kid has been so helpful. Our daughter has worked through a couple books but Nick has also helped when she has wanted to learn songs she likes by creating a version she can play. Always putting in extra time and knows how to relate to kids in a mature but fun way.Regan Tackett - Voice: our daughter loves singing but lacked a lot of confidence as she started. Regan has helped not only develop her voice but has instilled belief in her to where she now sings in front of family, friends, and audiences. She challenges her within what she is capable. It’s been great to see!Nate Smith - Bass Guitar: our drummer has just recently had a couple lessons with Nate. Right in line with the other 3 teachers he’s fun and creative. He has been able to find some songs she likes that she was able to learn quickly so now her interest in the instrument is taking off.Overall, the studio is clearly doing something right to get such great teachers!

I have taken voice lessons with Megan Callison for the last year and she is phenomenal! She does a great job of teaching the technical aspects of voice while letting me dive in to different styles of music, especially my favorite folk and acoustic songs. I cant recommend her highly enough! Also, the environment at Musicologie is very positive and encouraging, I finally enjoy performing in recitals and open mic nights. Their app also makes it really easy to cancel and reschedule appointments when necessary. Only wish I had started taking lessons here sooner.

My daughter asked for a violin for Christmas. After nearly a year of having it and continuous begging, we signed her up for string lessons. It was easy to sign-up, easy to schedule, and when her first instructor left, easy to transition to a new instructor. We loved our time; however, the interest is waning and our schedule of activities is ramping up so we are taking a pause. I would highly recommend this location (parking stinks, but its Grandview) and the instructors.

I started taking voice lessons nearly two years ago with Justin and ended up following him to Musicologie a while back. Ive also done a bit of voice with Regan, and have only praise for both teachers! Knowledgeable is the name of the game. Justin has a very scientific, researched approach which I personally like, and which I can only imagine has been a big factor in my improvement!

He plays, writes his own short songs, and calls the piano his instrument. His younger brother had been asking to take lessons too, and has just started on the drums. I am taking beginner piano lessons with Justin Swain. His lessons are always fun yet professional and well adapted to my learning pace and style. I can only afford the 30-minute weekly lesson plan but Justin manages to leverage this short amount of time well and I feel like I am rapidly growing as a musician. The Musicologie app/website also allows you to conveniently schedule and cancel lessons, or set up open play sessions where you can come into the studio and freely practice on their instruments without an instructor (free for students).

Ive taken many lessons last 20 years at several different types of studios and music schools. This one of the best music school for private lessons in Columbus. The twice yearly recitals shows the diverse types of music from guitar, drums, strings, voice and piano and bring the sense of community. My daughter and I both take lessons and the instructors adapt to all skill sets from beginner to advanced.
