We found Hawthorn Academy after so many bad experiences with childcare, in home and at established places. From the start we were welcomed with open arms. All of our needs were met for the entire time we were with Hawthorn. I recommend this place highly. We miss you all!

My daughter has been going here for 2.5 years, starting when she was only 6 months old. The staff is wonderful and they all know my daughter by name, even those teachers she has not had in class yet. When you walk in the front door the admin staff greet you and your family, and they know your names, too! My daughter has fun there and I feel so much better knowing she loves it there. She is safe and is always letting me know what she has learned. I could not imagine using any other daycare for our family.

Nothing but compliments for this daycare. We were lucky to find them and our son went there from an infant until 2. We are so sad to leave due to us moving but I would highly recommend to any parents. The management truly cares about creating a safe, organized, and fun environment. All of the teachers have been wonderful to deal with over the past couple years and I attribute our sons development to them and the structured curriculum.

We love Hawthorn! We toured many other child care centers in the area and Hawthorn has the best rates. What we love most about Hawthorn is their amazing teachers and staff. The teachers genuinely care about my child. When every teacher is saying hello to my child (by name) and he is running up and giving teachers hugs I know he is loved and in good hands. It is not a revolving door of new staff which is really great. The teachers do a great job communicating and creating trust with us and our son. The office staff is highly approachable and have always been available to answer any questions or concerns. Our child has been attending Hawthorn for almost 2 years and we really couldnt imagine taking him anywhere else. The teachers and staff are really what makes this center great!

My experience at Hawthorn Academy has been nothing but positive. My now three year old son had been in an in home daycare setting prior to starting at Hawthorn, and my daughter had been struggling with bottles before I returned to work, so I was nervous about the transition to daycare. Both of my children have been well taken care of and are thriving. My son learns so much and impresses me with his new knowledge and skills everyday. He has so much fun and can’t wait to go back to school! My daughter is growing and changing quickly, they have been very supportive during all of her new milestones. There have been minimal concerns on my part, but anything is easily addressed by the teachers and administrative staff that are all kind, professional, and approachable. The staff members love my children and the feeling is mutual from my kids. Hawthorn is competitively priced, has flexible scheduling for part time, and conveniently opens early and stays open late for people that don’t have a traditional 9-5 job. I highly recommend Hawthorn Academy!

Hawthorn is a amazing company they are very family oriented and it is a very beautiful place to work at and to teach your children so come on in everybody and go through this creative beautiful journey of learning I highly recommend this place to everyone great staff great administrators,awesome beautiful and creative kids too.your child will Learn so much and we do all types of different and unique activitiesYou will not be disappointed.

Hawthorn Academy is a great place for learning and fun! My son loves his teachers and classroom, and we love the experience that he gains from the environment. There is a dance class once a week, an indoor gym for rainy days, and great curriculum for the children. Hawthorn is affordable and the staff are awesome. Highly recommend!

Hawthorn Academy has been a great experience for my family. My daughter is treated very well! Jess and Shannon take care of her like she is one of their own. They always answer my questions openly and honestly and give me periodic updates during the day on how she’s doing. I would highly recommend them!

When I was pregnant, the first daycare I checked out, I left crying. Hawthorns wasnt open yet, but Grayson let us tour the place. He was so warm and welcoming. It was refreshing after the first place I went to. Couldnt ask for a better feeling when my child RUNS into school!!! 😍 The amount of pictures I get send home from activities they do is outstanding. The updates they give me when I pick up daily on how his day was, what he needs work on, what he excelled in. The teachers treat your child like they are their own. Indoor and outdoor activities daily. We cant wait for the special events this summer for a VERY small additional fee for the children to experience fun extra things outside of their daily activities. If you need a place to call home, Hawthorns is the place to be!!!

I do not have a google 😂😂😂 but I made one in my daughters name. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS DAYCARE. I have had 0 complaints they teach the kids, they learn so well, they take excellent care, and they are genuinely loving supportive staff. I will never send use another center

We’ve been going to Hawthorn Academy for 3.5 years and we really like it. My kids love the teachers and the few times we’ve had anything we wanted addressed it was done so immediately.

Wonderful child care! When I drop my boys off, I know they are well cared for, happy and safe. The teachers & administrators are all lovely and the new renovations are a nice update to the facility.

We recently had a very poor experience with Hawthorn, and Id strongly advise anyone considering sending their kids here to look elsewhere. Our son was injured (not seriously) while at Hawthorn, and their staff failed to report it. After taking him to our doctor for review, the doctor advised that hed clearly been dragged on the ground by an adult or much older child, and offered to open a case with Child Protective Services to investigate. We immediately withdrew our son from Hawthorn and opened the case. While meeting with Hawthorns owner, he showed absolutely no surprise or remorse that his staff had either neglected to report or caused an incident resulting in an injury to our son. I cant emphasize this strongly enough: stay away from Hawthorn.

My daughter had been going here since they open and my son goes here during the summer. They are great wouldnt send my kids anywhere else.

Our daughter attends this daycare and we LOVE it, LOVE it, LOVE it. I am leaving her here until she can no longer attend, and When & If I have more children they will be attending here. My son was just under 2 and a half when he started. He is diagnosed as autistic. Grayson said they couldnt handle him and I had needed to find a new center to take them. This was in September, most centers had no availability. He texted me on a Sunday saying my son was expelled and was unable to return for pushing a little girl. When I asked for all of my sons records and artwork it supposedly got mailed but was never received. I will never recommend someone to take their child there. This is the worst establisment my son has ever been in.

We could not be happier with the education and care our son is receiving at Hawthorn Academy. Grayson and his staff are exactly what we were looking for in a daycare - communicative, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and passionate about what they do.

Grayson and Shannon and all of the Teachers Are Truly Wonderful ! The love that they have for my children is really Amazing. Grayson has worked with my sons crying morning transition into going to class every morning smiling and now drop offs are great. I just had a baby girl 5 months ago , its so hard for me to leave her going to work but the infant teachers are great , I know my baby is safe when Im working . Even if I call or text a million times to check on my kiddoes (which I do,no doubt)they never get tired of me .They send me pictures to make me smile and days at work go bye fast to get back to my babies ! Thank you Hawthron Academy for being such a Awesome Center !

Phenomenal staff. Ms. Felicia and Lee are amazing. Where should I start? Let me start by saying the building is extremly clean. The owner is a class ACT!!! The young ladies who work at this fine establishment are all professional and friendly.They actually care and interact with the kids in a loving manner. ( Its funny!!! Its like they truly love the kids and not just collecting a pay check) Every time I visit to check on my kids i always see Ms. Felicia and lee doing activites with the kids. Great place to send kids, and the price is very reasonable. . The best thing is my children are learning something new every day. The only down side is theres not more Hawthorn Academies in the Columbus merto area . AWEsomE Place.
