I am an ex-employee so I will not state my opinion on their childcare because I would be biased. But I had a wonderful experience working here for over 3 years. The owner is wonderful and so great to work with. They always felt like family to me. If anyone is searching for a wonderful job I 100% recommend.

This is a great place for childcare, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Cat, Leona, and all of the employees are very caring, upbeat, and professional. They know our baby very well, and give us thorough updates on what they did and what her day was like. Our daughter’s face lights up with joy when we take her there in the morning, and that alone tells us what a great job they do here.

So grateful for this place. Being new parents, they couldn’t have helped make the transition of going back to work easier. The flexible hours. The affordable rates. The amazing staff. We absolutely love all of the staff. When your six month old gets excited before you take her in you know it’s all good. Again, we are sooooo grateful for you! All parents deserve the peace of mind you give knowing that our child is safe and loved. Thank you, Kiwi Clubhouse!

My son attended Kiwis Clubhouse from infancy to 3 years. In the beginning, everything seemed fine, but over time, there was a significant decline in quality, though I may have been blind to the problems from the start. Every few months, the daycare and preschool had new caregivers, teachers, front desk staff and even directors. To my knowledge, no one who was there when we started was still there when we left, other than the owner.Once my son moved to the toddler room, and then the juniors room, the staff stopped regularly filling out care sheets, so I rarely knew when diapers were changed, potty training attempted, snacks or meals eaten, etc., despite my repeated pleas. It was common for my sons bag to come home with the same number of diapers I sent him with, which means he sometimes went a whole day without being changed, which is unacceptable. My son was unusually unresponsive to potty training and this was huge a factor (he trained almost immediately after leaving). On many occasions, I would arrive to find his cup completely empty of water. The juniors room, and to an extent, the toddler room, was a madhouse at drop-off most days, with children running around, screaming and throwing things, with little interaction from staff. My son stopped napping entirely in the toddler room and that is certainly a result of the volume of the juniors room is at most hours of the day (he now naps often at his new preschool). Also, the juniors room is mixed ages 3-10, which is somehow legal, but an awful idea.Administratively, it was a revolving door. It was not uncommon to hear a loud and angry phone call taking place in the office. The billing system has never informed us how our money was being spent, and in the last months, they stopped sending invoices and required us to make a separate request for them every month. The staff even forgot to inform preschool parents of their conferences, so we found out weeks later that we missed ours. My son was eventually expelled from the center for occasional, age-appropriate misbehavior, but the staff did not follow our agreed-upon plan for this and when he was kicked out, it came with no warning and left us scrambling to find a new provider, just two months before he was to start at another, more well-established center where he has since never exhibited the bad behavior. The only thing Kiwis had going for it was that they were flexible in terms of hours, and that care was cheap for infants, but their rates dont decline as children age, which is unusual for daycare centers. They rope you in with competitive rates, but you will eventually pay way more than you need to for a place that doesnt provide diapers and isnt even licensed to serve their own meals or even refrigerate or reheat yours. And maybe its to be expected for a daycare running out of a strip mall, but the playground outside is a joke, so most of the exercise your kids are going to get is in room with a high metal ceiling and hard floors, which sounds like an aircraft hangar full of screaming kids of all ages.In hindsight, it was a huge mistake to leave him here for so long, as its clear that children need better care than they are willing to provide. Even worse, weve been told by friends who still attend, that since weve left, it has become increasingly dirty and filled with trash, that soap and toilet paper are not refilled properly, there are recurring incidents of adults screaming in front of kids, and that preschoolers are being given candy and sat in front of a television. They have also repeatedly failed state inspections. Please do not send your children here. Unfortunately, we waited too long to leave and this is no place for a child to thrive. My only hope is that his new care provider can undo some of the damage. They are already doing a phenomenally better job than Kiwis. Please look elsewhere. Also, Elissa, who left the five star review below is the former director. That is so unethical and violates the rules.

One of the best child care centers I have sent my child to. She was safe, happy, and content when leaving. Staff provides excellent communication and updates. Retta, the owner, is very involved and attentive. She takes pride in the center and it is apparent.

This place is awful. I am a teacher and have been for 10 years. Under NO circumstance would I ever leave a child crying for an hour straight and give up or ignore them. I took my daughter here (12 months) to try out. My daughter goes to a sitter everyday with no problems. When I left kiwis, my daughter wasn’t crying. When I picked her up she was laying face down with blood shot eyes and snot pouring down her face. I ran to pick her up (because all three teachers were ignoring her) and the teachers basically just said she didn’t want to play with the other kids so they left her. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I’m sorry but leaving a 12 month old sobbing for an hour is abuse to me. I got no phone call, nothing. It took my daughter 20 minutes to calm down after I picked her up, she was traumatized.

Ive been taking my 2 yr old son since he was 7 months old... Needless to say, I cried more at the first drop off than he did. Its clean, fun, and safe for the little ones. Although we frequent this UA location, my son has been to their other locations, all are great with fantastic staff. Every teacher Ive met has been sweet, its pretty obvious they love their job. The hours are flexible and fees are affordable. I continue to recommend them to friends searching for a care center.

DISAPOINTED FIRST TIME PARENT-Its hard as a working parent to find quality full-time childcare. We have a 17 month old who was biting at Kiwis. The first time it happened the girl at the front desk said they have never had a infant bite & they didnt know what to do. She suggested putting him in a high chair & giving him a toy for 1 minute timeout.Fast forward-months later they called us in to talk about his biting (never left marks) and they didnt have any current incident reports. We did not know this was still an issue. The Manager & Owner did not have a plan-they asked us what we thought they should do? We said hes teething, he rarely has his afternoon nap (per our request) & he might need some extra attention at this time. We brought in a biting book & have started teaching him to sign to communicate, brought in a fruit teether.Every time that next week he bit once they called us to pick him up (left work 3 times) Then that Friday they said he needed a week off. Thats the plan-SUSPENSION for a 17 month old getting a molar. After his suspension, we said he would not be returning there was no-Im sorry this didnt work out from management. They said we will miss your son & love him. (mind you they watched him for over a year). We are very customer service oriented people & felt ashamed for our baby biting. The new daycare has a strategic plan in their handbook & understands that babies bite. Thats customer service.✅Baby-sitting center-not Leaning Center-Our baby would only finger paint for the holidays (they would send home his picture), No other sensory play, No time outside. Lots of plastic toys to play with if your into that.✅Care sheet- rarely kept to our nap schedule. They would leave generic feedback for his day. ...he liked playing with trucks How about whats his mood when he bites-is he hungry, tired, ect,✅$260/week pays for No interactive activities, No food (we brought in a cooler & thermos-they dont fridge rate food or heat food), No diapers provided-wipes though, Loud music played all day.✅The caregivers were nice, but I dont think they were managed or given proper training which is unfortunate.✅There are daycare centers that do provide all of the above & are not that much more expensive ($17/week) We scrambled in a week to find somewhere-we are fortunate we have flexibility with our jobs. Most parents would lose their jobs if they had to leave 3 times in 1 week & not be on site at their job the following week. Could the employees at Kiwis do that? No. Could you?
