We just had our session and he was amazing! He was patience with my young children, even offered to make it right, to come back when the other lady was there if we didn’t like the photos!But he even offered for us to stay longer so he could get better photos of my children! This place was definitely quiet, friendly and very calm environment! I will definitely be coming back and recommending others!

Dave made my son’s Senior photo shoot an awesome experience. He was so professional, so nice and truly has an eye for good photography. The quality of the pictures was outstanding and we have received so many compliments. I would give him 10 stars ifI could.

Another great experience with Dave at Studio 187! After, researching photographers all over the state of Ohio, I chose to hire Dave to do a modeling photoshoot for my daughter. We have made the trip from the Youngstown area, twice, for photoshoots and it has been completely worth it! Daves professionalism and talent in photography are exceptional. Our photographs are beautiful. I would recommend Dave to anyone.

I had so much fun getting my senior pictures taken at Studio 187! The photographer, Dave, made me feel so comfortable and guided me through the entire experience. Not only did he have creative photo ideas he also made it fun and gave me a ton of variety. Not to mention my photos turned out great! They looked natural and true to me, which was really important to me. My sister had her pictures done by Dave too back in 2010 and they were equally as wonderful, he has only improved. Dave was easy to contact and work with at all times I never had trouble contacting him or scheduling sessions. Overall great studio!

I had the most amazing experience working with Dave Aldridge and Studio 187. A novice to getting my picture taken, I wasnt sure what to expect, but once I got there, I was put totally at ease.Dave is the most amazing photographer! Kind, funny, KNOWS HIS STUFF. He knows just the right angles and poses to place you in to get the best lighting and action, so that your photos turn out beautifully. Whats great about the shoot is how varied the photos turn out--its not you in the same pose again and again, you are given great direction so that there is great variety in your pictures.I couldnt be happier with how the pictures turned out! Dave let me and my family take our time selecting which pics we wanted and guided us through the selection process.Overall, I cant say enough nice things about this photographer and studio. If you are looking to get GREAT quality pictures taken in a fun, professional environment with an experienced photographer, then this is the place! If you have any question or doubt in your mind, do it! Youll be so glad you did!

We have used Studio 187 photography for years and we always request that Dave be the photographer for our pictures because we started with him and we want to stay with him. He has a great eye for finding a scenic spot for the photos. He is great at working with our family to find the best shot for the situation. For us, he has done photo sessions for newly adopted kids, young children, elderly family members who are not very mobile, photographed around a wheelchair so you hardly see it, my daughters wedding, senior portraits (multiple), family portraits with multiple generations, shots with pets, shots in the creek, and more. He keeps going until he gets the shot he wants. On our last session he came in to the studio during his own family vacation because our daughter was getting married and we had a lot of family flying in to town. He posts the photos on a private site for you and your family to look at and purchase if you want. He has done our Christmas cards (with photos) several times and we loved them. I cant say enough. I am a business owner and most of the time that I am in the studio it is just him there, so I realize that he is often doing both ends of things - photos and ordering, booking, etc. I am patient waiting for him to handle the admin end of things because I have always been happy with the results. Dave is great to work with. He is thorough and concerned with getting things right, just what you would expect from a professional photographer. He takes the time to explain what is happening and shares ideas so decisions can be made that gets the best result.

I am so thoroughly disgusted in this studio!The photographer didnt seem interested in doing creative photos for my sisters senior photos. We had to request some different poses, to try to shake things up.AFTER having to fill out paperwork that clearly displays what school she goes to, they send her senior photos to the wrong school! Not to mention, they sent the photos AFTER the deadline, too. She WILL NOT be in her school yearbook for her final year in high school - the completion of a long journey, a tradition of having your final photo one of your choosing. Not for Ariana; she wont even be in it.They missed some items we wanted to order for the photos during our intial order, and tried to give some lame story of knocking the price off and letting us buy more - the guy didnt even remember he did the same story at the time of original purchase! Oh and dont even get me started of the shady invoices that dont list the itemized pricing, so you really dont even know what the price was of each item - it displays $0 on each line.There was no apology given, no attempt to rectify the situation and contact the school or yearbook company to try to add her because of their mess up. Nothing. Just the push a sale, and get out of my door. We paid to have her yearbook photo sent in and taken care of for us as part of her photo package - the guy wont even discuss that now that a muck up has occurred.Poor, poor, poor service!If you want to use this place, use extreme caution, major micro managing is required and even then, make sure you have a back up plan in case he messes up for you, too.
