Intentional mispriced items to mislead customers ( proof )Bad practice of mispricing items in an effort to sell higher priced items by not displaying the price up front and making customers assume the price is lower....On this specific image we see coffee containers in a special store display, showing a large bold (99 cents) in front of the display, while hiding the actual of price of ($2.99)...this can easily confuse customers into adding this item into their cart without bothering looking in the back of the box and accidently purchasing the item at the register and unfortunately finding out at home.....other examples are having the main corporate making changes to current 99 cent items and not making repricing the items on the product....purchased El Pato Enchilada sauce which was priced 99 cents on the shelf and then ranged up $1.49 at the register and Cashier did not easily want to make good on, I was lucky to catch it and not pay the higher price accidently.....so basically suggestion to Corporate is to get your act together with your stores and avoid tricking customers.

Ill share my experience from a local ones I shop at periodically (francisco &hacienda)and on durffee rd s. El monte.Many years Ive shoped at those store.I assumed that ALL ITEMS I REPEAT ALL ITEMS at any 99 ONLY STORES WERE 99¢ . Each sign that I see on all the stores says 99 cent only I assume that all items in that store are 99 cent and not 199 299 399 499 and 599 theres a lot of people upset about this through the years I think that store that company owes a lot of people a lot of money we can either get an attorney or the company the company should have an explanation about this because Im a little upset myself if anybody wants to talk about this go ahead its an open market for conversation on this website

Appointment was at 4pm but got there at 330pm. Guard took my number down and called me about an hour later. Environment is chaotic but controlled. Its tight space but you can make it work. Took two hours to unload me. Take Indiana St to the actual location.

God owful place, this is a distribution center, they are illegally blocking a public street, even fencing it off, seems as if safety is not even in their mind, their yadd drivers drive like maniacs and you can tell by the condition of their equipment, employees seem friendly but that doesnt make up for the way this facility is setup, or run.

Its a 99c distribution center. I been there for toiletries delivery. I a congested place and they dont have parking for truck .But staff and security guards are friendly. They have drivers basic need Restroom and sitting area.

For Semi trailers. When coming in take exit 2 (S Indiana) off I60 Pomona Frwy(if youre coming 710/5N still take S Indiana exit if possible)... head straight, pass Union Pacific... Indiana ends, turn left and the guard shack is right there for 99c/Bargain ... I suggest you park on S Indiana first and walk up to check in. Its a bit tight around these parts to turn around and its heavy truck & car traffic in day. As for parking in docks... just make sure you set up properly to get. Its really docks 1-6that are quite tricky and youll probably have to jackknife it to get in because of the concrete barrier in front of em. Friendly and helpful staff.

Was in the store in Fresno o Bullard and First....its 100 degrees outside and 100 degrees inside . I said something about it being suffocating hot and the poor clerk was all red faced..she said corporate office wont let them turn on the air conditioner.....ARE YOU KIDDING ME...my belly was turning just trying to pay and get out of the store as quick as I can, but those poor clerks working for hours in the heat sucks.....the corporate officers need to bring their butts out of their air conditioned offices and work for even 4 hours in the heat....

As a truck driver the other reviews for this place almost scared me away from taking a load here. I was pleasantly surprised though with the speed at which they got me unloaded. I arrived at 2140 for a 2200 appointment and was empty and out the gate by 2230. I think what helped was the 2200 appointment. Thats when they close for the evening so they were in a hurry to get me empty. Backing wasnt as tight as others described. It was easily doable with a 53-foot trailer and a sleeper tractor.

Actually not bad at all, unloaded quick, got into a dock door quick. The backing can be tight if you get a door near that concrete barrier. But other than that, not a bad place to deliver to.

These are the images I see every day from my bedroom. 99 Cent Store will not keep there area clean. Today the homeless woman cleaned up the area. shame on 99 Cent Store (Avalon and University). Several calls have been made to the store manager and nothing was done. Guest even the homeless got tired of the nasty mess the store leaves. Really would like to rate negative stars.

I have now tried 6 times to get in contact with robert in human resources. No one wants to deal with the problem. One of my best customer service employees was fired. I had to find out through your produce employee. He says. He should have never been let go. He said all he can say is the store manager had it out for him. He said this is not the first time either. If they dont like someone then they lie to cover it up so the employee cant get unemployment. Shame on you 99. You know what you did was wrong. You keep the ones you can control. The ones that are experienced you throw away.

Truckers: this is the way I took. 5N, 710N, 60W, exit Indiana Ave, head South, all the way past Union Pacific, street ends turns left, check in, theyll call you when they have a door. You can pull in all the way by the docks and make a U-turn to come back out to wait for the call. Good luck if you got a sleeper cab and get a door in front of the cement barrier

Good store to get stuff for cheap just dont expect it to last a long time but still worth it

If youre delivering to this address be aware that most streets have a no truck sign the beat and only place to drive is Indiana St and you go south dont make a left on pacific union continue to go straight and park on the right shoulder and go to the office.... Also be sure to be on time for your appointment cause if youre late they will ask you to re schedule and that takes about a week or two.

If you are a semi truck driver you will hate coming here. It just chaotic here and not very organized. There’s adequate room to back to dock once you get inside, but parking on street outside waiting can be tough. Busy facility with trucks exiting and entering off of same back alley road. Not ideal! I came down Indiana St. after reading other reviews and that was good and found a spot off to side to park. Then walked to security guard check-in with my Bills. Jovanny was nice and helpful and he called me when dock door assigned. Just drive slow and be careful and you won’t have a problem.

I think I cannot check in at the gate because I am Asian. I was the only truck there at the time. It took me a long time to turn back, but I saw another driver check in at the same location. I lived in Los Angeles for 7 years and met this kind of guard for the first time. I will not come back here to deliver for 99 cents again.

April 2017 I was sold a bag of Jasmine rice with a BBD (best before date) of 2013. When I pulled the bag of rice from my cupboard to make dinner there was bugs crawling around in the completely closed bag. I was absolutely disgusted! I have never experienced such a thing in my life. When I called customer service all they wanted to offer me was an apology, a promise to inform the manufacturer and a $3 coupon for the 99 cent store. Absolutely ridiculous! I will never shop there again!

Im writing in concern to an employee that was fired from your store at #166. I came in to store, as I always do. A spanish man named luis was stocking your deli. I asked where Taylor was. I was told he was let go do to store manager mistreating him. I asked what do you mean. He said ART his new store manager had it out for him. I asked him if he told anyone. He said nobody would listen. Well listen up. I have known Taylor the year he worked at your store. Your store manager even said he is the best worker he has had. I tried to talk to others. They claim they where threatened to be fired. Called your number. Lady had no clue who to transfer me to. Sounds to me wrongfully terminated employee.

Great parking not a dirty place. Still see rats and cats some of the times at least 1 time a week. You will never pick up as much as you want to get a great check due to the limiter on the Bluetooth devices per each individual.

This review is for the apple valley Cali store off bear Valley and apple valley Rd. Its absolutely disgusting and is a fire hazard. I cant even move around the fridge department because they allow women and men to block it while they wait for stockers to load them up. Boxes blocking isles. I have children so it makes it more difficult to move around there store with baskets and kids. Its a shame nothing has been done to fix it. Fruit and vegetable are rotten, and bread was molded, its a poor disgrace of a store. Ive told manager my concern and they looked at me like I was stupid.I literally left with nothing and was disappointed when I couldnt even look in the fridge department because of people blocking it, and standing around by it. Misleading name...be careful when shopping and pay attention to prices, apparently one would imagine that shopping at a dollar store, everything is one dollar....even with a name that confirms it ( 99 Cent ONLY)....well you will see many more items priced at $1.99, $2.99, $3.99 and more every month.... apparently corporate has been tinkering with a successful chain that is changing gradually before your eyes....they tried high shelves but it seems they went back to the traditional store....my suggestion is that its time to change the name, now that the dollar store model has been ruined and its not a dollar store anymore....the gold mine with the name is gone....its not 99 ONLY anymore and whatever excuses the owners might have is childish excuses....like giving excuses to children....well...its this way, we have higher priced items and they are a great value or look we play humor....see our slogan Open 9 Days a Week....bla bla bla.....change the name or find a better model...gotta go, going to Wal Mart Only....

Its a mad house 2 back in 2 a dock door I recommend after backing into a door driver should unhook tractor to make it easier for others to back in Ive seen too many incidents with doors being ripped off drivers backing into other truck especially when its dark very early in the morning Ive been driving for 16 years and that is one of the hardest places to back into a dock door thats my recommendation

If you drive a semi and are doing a delivery beware there is a dot officer stopping trucks giving tickets and putting trucks out of service. If you have a 53 ft trailer with a conventional sleeper your are over 65ft in total length and are legally to long to be on the streets towards that location

Out of all the stress Ive been to, The Dallas/ Frankford ,Marsh location is the worst, and the Koren Supervisor has no customer service skills, the employees are great though. They have one price at the shelf and another price at the check out. I picked an item shelf tag said .59c and when the item was rung up came$1.00. The check out person will not listen to my complaint and said if I want to buy that item I must pay$1.00 I walked out not buying. I have taken a picture of this item with the shelf tag.

Horrible customer service at the Glendale Az store was told by a supervisor named Carlos that he will not give me corporate number he also literally left me in an isle and ran away from. Me and then I found him again and I was like seriously your denying me corporate number he said yes.I was like your job as a supervisor is to make sure the customer is happy and I wasnt and I asked him to help and instead he repeatedly told me he wont help me and that noone at his store knew english.

Here in Las Vegas NV the 99 cents stores user fake advertisements by keeping the same sign but charging up to 10 dollars items when the sign claims everything is 99 cents! The management are rude and not helpful this is was at the location on w. Craig rd in north Las Vegas.
