Clean professional environment. Usually no wait. The students are always skilled and theres always a supervisor to make sure they dont mess up. Definitely the highest of standards when it comes to barber colleges. Its basically a real barber shop but a lot bigger and a quarter of the price. Just make sure to tip your barber if you can.

Dont go here. My last two cuts here have been god awful and the cut I got today is the straw that broke the camels back. This place does not know how to cut black hair, please save yourself the headache and go to a professional. Never coming back here.

NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED - TRY IT ON YOUR OWN RISK - GOT CUT ON MY LEFT EAR SO BADLY.Remember at very first place: Your Hairs and Head Area is an Experimental Playground for Urban Barber Students.Now lets come on to the point, So the thing is many of these students dont even know how to hold a trimmer and scissor,Very first I had to wait for more than 30 mins and then the Black Guy who was cutting my hair by trimmer was using trimmer machine SO ROUGHLY in my head, I told him to use trimmer gently but he was just continuing AND WITH THIS HARSH MOVEMENT HE CUT MY LEFT EAR SO BADLY 👂 THAT IT STARTED BLEEDING. Also he took more than an hour to cut my hairs Unevenly and in bad shape.I Called to their two senior student (both fat guy) but everybody was behaving like nothing happened.Dont compromise for few bucks, I would say go for some professional salons.Even in elite service these students only will give you service.Giving this 1 🌟 just for Pricing.

I dont know if its just me but I really like this place Ive been coming here for quite some time now Im not exactly sure why the low ratings first of all these are students that are learning and these are the cheapest haircuts that I have ever seen so Im not exactly sure why people are complaining but I can say this every time that I have gone I have like the service to be honest I cant wait until they reopen as covid-19 closed right now

Its a college. You get cut by students but they are supervised. I took someone there are they like it. I did not have it cut myself but it seem ok. And its very inexpensive and you are helping someone.

They never answer the phone when ever I call I once tested it in the store I called from the inside of their store and the workers just talk how are they even getting paid they do nothing and I’m taking about the people who work cash register. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO MAKE AN ELITE CUT APPOINTMENT IF NO ONE EVER ASWERS THE PHONE GID DANM!!

The phone recording doesnt explain that these people are on lunch between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. . I arrived at 1:10 p.m. and the lady up front explained that the staff, students were on lunch. I told her I drove all the way from San Ramon to the Concord location and this was very upsetting. All she could say was that we all get upset sometimes. What kind of customer service is that?

Had a few bad seeds come to my barber shop from this school but as a hole after visiting urban barber college I like what it’s about and the potential to become a good barber starts wer they r at keep learning pass ur test and get ur license the rest you’ll pick up on the job !!!

Worst service ever. I recently lost my old barber and now Im looking for some place else. At first I went to Jc pennys and that was a mistake. Went there again for fix up, still was bad. I saw urban barber school and I thought Id give them a try. It was no better I paid extra for an experienced barber but I got someone still in training. I felt like I was being watched by everyone as my guy constantly asked for help. Ill probably going to Paul Mittchel for now on

Terrible customer service. Ashley no showed for my appointment and the front desk girl was on her cellphone the entire time while I was trying to check in. The instructor just shrugged her shoulders. No thanks.

The worst customer service and not worth the long wait. These people make mistakes all the time. Dont go here your haircut will be mest up and then you will end up being the one to get blamed on because the staff wants to defend their students which is again HORRIBLE customer service.
