I had such great hopes for this course, but it was definitely not as advertised. My teen daughter did the CA teen driving course, and it too WAY longer than advertised. There were hundreds and hundreds of pages, which she could read and go through fairly quickly, but what slowed down the whole class were the videos. They were slow and mandatory - you could not skip them, and you couldnt run them faster. It took > 40 hours to slog through all the videos. Once she finished the course, she had to wait 5-12 days for a physical certificate to be mailed to her before she could go to the DMV to take the test. For another $40 we could get it overnight. I dont know what the other options are out there, but anyone taking this course should have the right expectations -- it takes much longer to go through and then an additional 2 weeks to get the certificate. Finally, they say they have phone support, but they have taken the phone number off the site. Communication is only via email, and it takes 2 days for them to respond.

Personally, this course was really easy going and simple for me to complete. I poured a lot of time and focus into the course in order to enrich myself to the best of my abilities. However, I did not feel prepared for my permit test, and even after taking over 20 of the Practice Exams, I still did not feel confident and ended up failing at the DMV. Overall, the course was really cute and fun and educational but I felt like they shouldve prepared me for the written test better than they did.

Update: They actually completed one of the orders within the time frame to help our situation. Without being able to communicate with each other they couldnt provide good customer service to me, even though the action was completed, the service reps were disconnected. Original 1-star review: Ive ordered the same certificate 3 times and their disjointed unprofessional, sloppy operation has failed to complete even one of those orders. Ive spent hours on the phone, sent numerous emails, paid for overnight delivery and even told them how to fill out a shipping label. In each transaction they failed to follow through and failed to follow up on promises. They refused to communicate unless I stayed on the phone for hours, refusing to answer emails that I know they were receiving. Ive written exactly two bad reviews on companies, this is the second, as I know that even the best systems and intentions fail, but to be ignored and have so many issues just FAIL requires a public response to alert other consumers. I dont think this is a real company. It feels like a call center and everything else is outsourced, and outsourced Badly if their shipping vendor is any indication!! This is not your solution. Find a local company who can respond to you as you deserve. No one deserves this much inadequacy on such a simple transaction. Their process failure has translated into significant personal loss for myself and my daughter. And it was completely unnecessary, if only they had communicated with their customer. Take a pass on this company.

Using Aceable got me to learn all about what I need to know for driving. The class was enjoyable and you can take it whenever you want wherever you want. I recommend Aceable for new drivers wanting to learn the rules of the road and safety

Biggest mistake ever.... The program says it takes 6 hours to complete, but here I am 40 hours and over a month later and only at 75%. By the time you get to the end of a section for the assessment, its been so long youve nearly forgotten what was said in the 400 very short pages they only ask you 10 questions about. The fun they talk about is like watching teachers or parents being lame trying to relate to a younger generation. The memes they use are mediocre in quality and most of the time dont even make sense. Never again, I tell you.... Never again......

Thanks Aceable for an engaging and fun drivers ed. I loved the humor and the videos because they kept me really interested in the material. Hopefully Ill be an Aceable driver when I get on the road!
