Oak Grove is a really good school with good students and good staff. People say its a bad school because there are a lot of hispanics, but that doesnt change the way teachers teach. The school being mostly hispanic doesnt mean that just because of that the students arent smart or there is more violence or anything like that. If a child is gonna use drugs or fight or not try in school, they will do it in any school not just Oak Grove. I had the best three years there and had great friends, so if youre asking, yes its a good school.

Good morning school I thought it was a very responsible person teachers but the last days my son has been suffering from bullying of a colleague I already reported it to the ladies of the school antier the child pledged me of the school says that the child keeps bothering him I would like to know what I can do for school for my son

I have an 11 year old daughter and this was her first year of what we thought would be a fun and exciting year at Oak Grove Middle School. In my daughters opinion, as well as in my own opinion, this has been her worst experience for the past 5 months. In my opinion as a parent it has been hell! In talking to other parents who have had children that attended Oak Grove Middle School, they also have shared some of the same experiences. Prior to my child being enrolled I had no knowledge of the low test scores (over all lowest in the district) or that the overall behavior of the children that go to the school.I never thought these things would raise concern for me personally as a parent. The school is overly populated with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders with extreme disciplinary issues displaying disrespectful and violent behavior not excluding: racial slurs, bullying, and no regard for adult authority. My child witness violent fights and was threaten after helping a friend. There has been frequent visits by the police who have had to physically remove students from the campus due to the students violent behavior towards another student. My child personally has experience some of the the things mentioned above, as well as be violated in the girls restroom. These things mentioned is only covering just a few of the unresolved issues. If you are a parent I strongly urge you to visit this school before sending your child to Oak Grove Middle School. I personally would not recommend this school to any one. There is no regard to my childs safety and a middle of the school transfer is a long frustrating process!

2014 My son was bullied by 3 students and had physical injuries. Heads of the school didnt do anything about the incident to settle and was still continued. We decided to move to another school.
