Our experience at Aquatech was amazing in every aspect. Even with the pandemic, we felt safe with the precautions that were in place. The staff was always so welcoming and friendly. As for our instructor, Ava was awesome. She bonded well with our daughter, and showed patience and expertise for our tadpole class. I would highly recommend Ava and aquatech to anyone interested.

Clean facilities, friendly environment, and helpful staff. I found this place great for instruction of my young child (Tadpole level)! The instructor Ava was absolutely amazing!!! She was our first swim teacher, and she made us feel welcome and also gave us so much exceptional training and fun. Her exercises, her timing of the class, her inclusion of all students were truly above and beyond--much better than I can imagine a swim instructor could be. We are moving to Aquatech Alameda because we were able to get a new class closer to our home. Thank you, Ava! We will really miss you!

My 20-month old toddler got severely ill with a cyrpto bacterial infection (103F fever, diarrhea, and dehydration) and a chlorine rash, after attending a class here on Oct. 2nd that sent him to urgent care. We have been members since August, and when I called to let them know, I was told by the manager, Leah that the pool is clean because theres chlorine, and that she didnt know what my question was. Even though, I had tried to ask in several ways if the facility followed or had any protocol in these situations. I was STUNNED by the rude dismissive tone Leah took in response to a TODDLER becoming severely ill after attending class there. Leah told me that the issue would be looked into, and that someone would call me back. Instead, I find a partial refund credited to my card, a drop from the class on my account (even though I didnt request that, as I was initially going to wait for the results from the Environmental Health Department), and no follow-up whatsoever. I understand that some risk is associated with public classes, however, I would expect a business that advertises services for BABIES to want to assure parents that their pool is not only safe but there are protocols in place when incidents like this occur. If youre okay with risking the health of your child at a business that could care less about whether or not your child gets ill in their care, this is the swim school for your family. If not, avoid this place like the plague. There are other swim schools in the area that value the health of the children in their classes. Ive never in my life been more disgusted with a business. Shame on you Aquatech Concord!

We just love this place! Chill workers, easy process to sign up, and we have the best teacher ever, teacher Garrett! He is the most patient, loving and fun swimming instructor a family could ask for! Thanks for everything!

The price might be cheaper than other swim schools, but theres a reason. This place is run like an enterprise - all about efficiency and time slots. Unfortunately this doesnt work out well for the swimmers -- the swim instructors are invariably different between lessons, and the student to teacher ratio can be as high as 5:1.The facilities are nice - ample lockers, big changing rooms for the kids, bleachers for parents to watch the lessons (multiple lessons run in parallel in segments of the pool), and theres a play/tv area for other waiting siblings.Overall, though, better to pay a bit more elsewhere and have a better outcome. Elsewhere would work out better on a teacher:student time ratio, and thus a better outcome. At least that was the case for me.

Horrible place policy changes on a whim with no notice according to one agent I spoke with today. They will not email a list of classes so I could consult with my wife making scheduling classes is a huge hassle based on what I was told. I have used other similar style businesses that offer lessons and they have automated class scheduling which all i had to do was create an acct, sign in pay for the lessons/package I wanted then schedule the class as it is all available online, which here i must talk to someone. Management seems to not know what they are doing or just does not care the employees even less. Save your money because this is a joke save the $95 for a swim lesson. Could not get the information I needed to actually signup tomorrow will not call them back.

Wed highly recommend sending your child here to learn the joy of swimming. The staff are mostly teens, but are highly motivated, trained, and dedicated to giving your child the best experience possible. They also have family swim times for an additional fee, plus other services. Prices are affordable for your average upper middle class family, the facility is modern and clean, and good parking (though can get tight during peak class times since it shares a lot with Diablo Rock Gym.

Bought a Groupon special and its been the most difficult experience to get my son, nephew and niece enrolled. Theyre (Concord location) horrible with getting back to potential customers via phone and with email it seems to take them a day/two to get back to you. Im seriously looking into getting a refund and just going with another swimming service if I cant get them enrolled in a class this week.

Nice people and clean place. Easy parking and decent price. The swimming classes are indoor so can be done year around without sunburn or being too cold. Cons: no wi fi, pool smells chlorine very bad - indoors, no ventilation, one out of two times I come I cannot find a parking spot right away and I lose lots of time.

Aquatech has been a great swim experience for my son who is now 3. Weve been going since he was maybe 20 months. After a bit over a year there I can say that the instructors are great with the kids, the staff is helpful and good at scheduling. Overall things run like a pretty well oiled machine there. We have found that in our case, for our son, we had to do two classes back to back for him to excel and stay focused. The first class just warmed him up and the second one he does great in.Aquatech has levels for all ages, but any children under 3 pretty much will be in the water with their children (which is great by the way). Once they are 3 the kids can be with an instructor and the ratio of kids to instructor stays low for young kids and slowly goes up as the kids get older. Our son is confident in the water, has a good time, is learning to trust others and gets great exercise.

This place looked promising but after taking my boys here for a couple of months. I noticed that they have rules for parents not to leave their belongings in the changing stalls before the kids get out of the pool. But always 10mins before class ends you have about 6 or 7 parents already reserving the changing stalls. Some of their kids arent out of the water yet and other parents are having to wait until a changing stall is available, which isnt fair to the kids who are done and cold. Spoke to management and staff and nothing is being done. Some of the parents are ridiculous and dont care about the other kids who are waiting. Im in the process of looking for another swim school.

The classes are awesome but the whole system with scheduling make-ups is ridiuclous and hard. first of all you only have 30 days within which you can do the make up classes. If you are on vacation for 3 weeks that leaves you with not a lot of wiggle room. second, you can only book within the next 7 days. lots of times I couldnt because classes were full. I was to call a week later. most likely it is booked out again. and then the 30 days are over. and it is extremely difficult to get someone on the phone or called back for that matter. this time I had to try 10 times over two days to get a hold of someone. the classes get a 5 star from me and the scheduling get a 1 star from me. Im very frustrated with the inflexibility of scheduling make-ups. I have two swimmers in different classes and work part time (so half the week is not available for us). almost impossible and Aquatech def. doesnt make it easier. I was about to cancel the classes altoghether but I really want my kids to know how to swim. and the swim teachers are great and friendly.

So I went a couple of times and my first experience was great but then I went again and the staff was beyond rude!I went for the open adult swim and It seemed as if I was a burden to be helped. The manager ignored us and when we finally were helped nothing but attitude. The pool was very dirty including a huge nasty used bandaid that was floating around and when we told the manager he rolled his eyes and made someone else clean it.I wont be coming back because the pool is tiny and very dirty and with the terrible staff no thanks I will pass!
