Had a minor billing issue but besides that everyone is pretty awesome, and very helpful and resourceful staff. The ladies in career services are very nice I didn’t end up doing crane ops for work, I went back to turbo wrenches and they call me all the time with opportunities that just don’t match my current pay so maybe in time. Thanks for all you guys do.

This College Tops All Man!! Best Crane Operator School You Could Ever Attend. They Welcome You Instead Of Reject You!!

This school will force you to take dirt classes (level 1&2) although you may have no interest in the dirt work.If you want crane training and that is all, be sure and push the issue until they cave. They will cave eventually and this includes Lattice.Call corporate in NV if needed. They use up your $ with that trick and will tell you dirt is mandatory. It is not...Most students only want the crane training and without students in the dirt classes the school or I should say the investors would suffer so they lie to you.

I was in the very first year of training when this college started. It was called Georgia school of construction. I am so grateful for all I learned here. The education has led me to a very successful career in water utilities. If I didn’t live in pa I would love to stop in and see it. This is an amazing trade to learn.

The plus size is a lot of seat time. The negatives far outweigh it though. Instructor doesnt know basic math, Ralph seemed more interested in talking with his friends than teaching anybody, the little class time we got didnt prepare us for the final. I cannot recommend, and I will not be taking any other classes.

I did Heavy equipment levels 1 & 2 and enjoyed every day of my time. Learned a lot from the basics to advanced. I also learned a lot from the instructors Kenneth and Ralph who have real world experience and if you’re willing to learn they will help you. Every one at the Heavy Equipment College of America Georgia campus was incredibly helpful from start to finish. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to become a heavy equipment operator even if they don’t have any experience in this industry. I will be going back to get my crane certification some time in 2020.

EXCELLENT School all around; the instructors were patient, safety oriented, quite amusing and very easy to work with. The school campus is not the biggest, however, the employees there have a very genuine, family-like vibe and it reflects onto the students they teach. Although traveling from NY was no small effort, I went for all 3 levels (3/7/2016 - 5/7/2016) and will definitely be going back to this campus for Lattice Crane Training. This is a highly veteran populated school (at-least 75% +) and they are understanding to the needs that we may have; if there are any appointments you need to attend during training, let someone there know and they will work with you!

I traveled from NC I originally tried to find something in NC or SC because of the distance the one place in the Carolinas I found had very old broken machinery and teachers that never operated before so i kept looking I had given up hope and then came across this place and it was worth the trip . the instructors were highly experienced and went above and beyond to teach and help me feel comfortable and all the equipment was brand new.

School is very safety oriented and educational. Instructors show you once then let you operate the equipment. Spend as much time operating as you can.
