I have had my kids at Nur Ul Islam for the past 5 years, now moving on our 6th academic year in this school. It has been a wonderful experience. The teachers, staff, and principal are willing to listen to you and work towards strategies to help your kids development. They are gentle and kind and you get a sense of family in the school. My daughter needed some help in class, they immediately scheduled a meeting with my husband and I (both teacher Sr. Aisha and head of elementary Sr. Judy was present) and we set goals and they were put into action immediately. I was amazed, they truly want all their students to succeed and feel confident. My little one had trouble with speech in lower school. Sr. Maria kindly suggested we do a speech evaluation with a professional, and so we did. She was right, my son needed help and was given help at the perfect time. His speech would not have improved, if Sr. Maria did not step in. I’ve recommended this school many times, and will continue to recommend it! Lower school and Elementary school are amazing. Looking forward to Middle school soon!

This is the worst of all the Schools I have ever seen. Children can’t learn anything here. They are running the School somehow. They have very few good teachers. Their management system is very poor and discriminatory. Arab dominated teachers and stuffs don’t like the non Arabian students and parents. They always prioritize the Arabs and place the non Arabian students on the back seat in the class and in any other activities. The principal is rude and disrespectful. He doesn’t even want to listen to our complaints. I moved my children to a different School, and they are doing much better in there. Their racial/discriminatory actions need to be investigated by the proper authority.

My daughter recently started preschool PK2 and she has learned so much academically and islamically. Within 1 week my daughter was able to recite surah fatihah and her teachers encourage her to pray and make dua. No other preschool would be able to do this. The teachers have been very kind and caring. They are quick to respond to my concerns and give me daily updates.

Nur-ul Islam isnt afraid to ask for help. Nuia sees the future of learning and merges it with the potential of the present. Nur-Ul Islam academy doesnt graduate students with little to no hope for the future. This schoolseparates knowledge, understanding, skills, and competencies and helps students do the same.I was surprised how others people describe Nuia. We must look the good things no just be critical. Best Islamic school. May Allah bless all the parents and teachers (admin) of Nuia.

I was a teacher at the school for more than 13 years, just moved to another state a few months ago. I cant tell you how much I miss the peaceful feeling while working at that school. Excellent school by all mean! Teachers are dedicated, and the administration always strives to cater to the needs of the students. I even miss the delicious food in the cafeteria. I recommend NUIA for any parents who seek the best education while raising their children in a safe Islamic environment

Anyone can be a teacher here. One of the teachers doesnt even teach properly and constantly yells at the students if they made 1 mistake. Any teacher can take his job since its pretty easy. THEY DONT EVEN TEACH PROPERLY. AND THEYRE VERY RUDE AND NOT UNDERSTANDING. That is why everyone should go to a different school since they only want that money $$$$$$not very islamic behavior in this school .

I had to pull my two children from the school in the middle of the semester due to unprofessional behavior of teacher Aisha who discriminate against my children. We had hard time reaching her. We complained to administration many time and got only sweet talks but no action. The teacher has destroyed our kids confidence in them selves. Our children are much happier now in a public school.

Overcrowded classrooms. Donations towards the school do not go to the classrooms. Teachers have to beg parents on the microphone for supplies because of the principal. Cameras never working. Teacher charged with assaulting young girls (which the news video is online to view). Music is haram here in their eyes, so kids become bored and non expressive in school. Lunch is nasty (I have heard from the kids). Tuition rates dropped after the recent mess with the assault of the teacher who then fled to Guyana. Academically the class suffers because of the amount of kids per 1 teacher. Never a full time assistant (always one parent having to hop classes to help....assistant is not a qualified teacher). Aftercare constantly cancelled the day of, which hurts working parents. Some parents leave overseas with their kids a month before school ends, and school still passes them all. Absences do not matter to them as long as you pay $$$$. GO ELSEWHERE!

Salaam alykum, as a Muslim parent I want my kids to be in a Muslim environment and I would like to register them in NUR CENTER. the school is very expensive no any kind of help for the families. the principal has a nasty attitude toward the kids. I just hold my self not to have an argue.as a Muslim we should support each other we have to put all efforts on the new generation but with this kind of attitude we are not going no where. la hawla wala kowat ila billah.
