This has been the best experience taking flamenco classes in Miami! Clarita is kind, dedicated, and very professional. She always makes sure that what you are working on is both suited for you and something you are enjoying. I never felt judged or bad for not being a certain level. She loves the practice and is extremely knowledgeable. She is able to mix history with the dance classes so that you understand where the movements and music comes from, making the experience even more valuable. I highly recommend Flamenco Puro!

I been wanting to learn flamenco for the longest and never found anyone that could teach me the basics on real flamenco until I found Clarita... she is amazing! She takes the time to see how I move and corrects me when needed; teaches me the history of the dance and the different type of dances and steps. If you are looking to learn real flamenco, clarita is the way to go!

I took beginner classes with Clarita in 2017, and take private classes with her now. Her studio is about as cozy as it gets. She is incredibly knowledgeable and a largely self-taught dancer. She is very open to molding the class around her students interests. My favorite thing about her classes are her choreographies. They are always beautiful, unique and speak to her in-depth of the art form.

Such a privilege to learn from her. She gives a complete education from history, to music, to of course the actual steps and hand motions. I was embarrassed to start at my age with no experience. She explains and gives you points of reference to help you learn. Most important to me is the fact that I never leave feeling like a klutz or that I cant do it. Flamenco has been a passion of mine throughout my life. I knew I wanted my daughter to take classes when she was old enough. After much research, I chose Clarita at Flamenco Puro for her knowledge, experience, and dedication to the art form throughout her life. Now my 10 year old and I take private classes together at her studio and I couldnt be happier. We both love it because she makes it fun and easy to learn. Clarita is a true master at flamenco and has the duende that only few dancers truly possess.

Ms. Filguieras is dedicated and caring teacher. She conducts one on one classes that not only teach you technique but give you context and history of the ARTE of Flamenco. Clarita is patient and encouraging to her new students. I have been taking classes for less than three months but learning Flamenco has become the highlight of my week! I appreciate that she takes older students. Group classes are available too! If you have always dreamt of learning flamenco but kept putting it off, it isnt to late. You owe it to yourself to take a class. I am SO happy I found my joy.
