My son has been attending Ladybird Academy for about 2 months now. I couldn’t be happier. His vocabulary has exploded. They have cameras in the classrooms, send updates throughout the day and provide nutritious meals. The Director, Amanda is lovely. Ms. Carla, in the two’s room is every parent’s dream. She is kind, nurturing and so engaging with the kids. My son talks about her all the time.

I am so lucky that I cross paths with this school. My son wasnt able to speak in full sentences ( although he was going to speech therapy twice a week ) until he joined Ms. Jackie and Mrs. Neeshas class. This school has well prepared my son for kindergarten and I am forever grateful for their hardwork, dedication and compassion for Michael. If youre looking for a professional establishment for your little ones, this is the only daycare I would recommend! The administrators Amanda and Martha are warm and on top of everything! They know all the parents by name! Highly recommended!

My son started at Ladybird when he was just 3 months old, now hes 2 1/2. He loves going to school and we love it too. He is learning so much at such a young age. He comes home everyday happy and is excited each morning to go back to school. We couldnt be more pleased with our decision to choose Ladybird Coral Springs over the many options of Daycare in the area. The experience overall is more enriching than I ever anticipated. Our son started school at Ladybird Academy at 10 weeks old! Starting him so young I was amazed to feel so comfortable immediately with all the teachers and staff. I fully trust them and all the curriculum they teach. He does art every day, learns sign language and is far ahead of what I expected at each month evaluation. It’s not just a school when we are all included in activities and invited to holiday parties/other events it’s more like friends and family at this point! Love them all!

We came across Ladybird as a recommendation from a friend. When we took a tour of the school, we were pleased with how clean and secure the place was, and how engaged the kids were. Our son joined in the summer of 2017, soon after he turned 1. Though it was rough at first, he soon adjusted and we knew he was in good hands. He started in the Grasshoppers class where he began learning colors, shapes and sign-language, and reciting songs he sang in the class. Before his 2nd birthday, he was moved over to the Bumblebees room, where he kept on learning. By age 2, our son was saying his ABCs, counting to 10, not just in English, but in Spanish as well. We love that we get daily, almost hourly, updates on how his day is going while at the school, such as what activities he is engaged in, what hes ate (breakfast, snack, lunch), which also includes pictures. Additionally, we also love that we can open one of the apps and see him (live) in the classroom to see how he is doing. The staff at the school has been pleasurable to deal with, always keeping us informed. We have had such as great experience with our son, that we have now enrolled our youngest daughter, who is now attending also, as she just turned 1. We would definitely recommend this school to any parent.

We’ve attended since 2015. It was the best decision for our family for education and care of our young children who both started at 3 months of age. Not only is it a brand new facility there are many extras such as an on site chef and cafeteria (yay for not having to pack lunches), an offering of different extra curricular programs (sports, dance, soccer, gymnastics) offered that are both convenient and rewarding, parents night out, and snow cone days. The teachers and staff are the bread and butter of the school. The relationships the children and parents have with the teachers are priceless. With any daycare you are going to have turnover (both staff and students), sick kids, etc. I feel the staff truly cares about my children and they all take the time to get to know our family even outside their assigned classroom. All of my concerns/requests have always been handled quickly.

His teachers, Ms. Janet and Ms. Neesha are fabulous. What my son has learned over the past year has been nothing less than amazing. He can read, he knows his numbers, he can tell time and understands currency. He is more than prepared for Kindergarten and he will have great success because of these wonderful ladies. I know I wasnt crazy! I can completely vouch for you Stacey. This place is a joke. I thought my child was going to get an awesome learning experience being that they had such great reviews from up north, ha! I too only saw 5 minutes worth of curriculum during the designated 15min circle time in the 2 year old room. The class has no certified lead teacher so there was no curriculum or structure. The kids entertained themselves ALL DAY by running around and doing whatever they like. The only thing they did religiously was go outside on time. Lunch is at noon and they were ready to eat at 11 because there was nothing else going on. The teachers stand around and socialize while the kids push and wrestle each other. I too observed on the cameras one of the teachers grabbing toys from students and grabbing someone by the arm but what else is the poor child to do when theres nothing else to do. What really ground my gears is that I would pick up my little one and their hands would be black from not washing it all day. You would think the least they could do was engage the children in hand washing. It is part of their daily schedule. My baby was constantly sick and Im sure this was one of the reasons why. After 10 months at the school enough was enough. My child is now engaged in a class where he is being academically stimulated daily. Dont be fooled by the bells and whistles they try to sell.

Although nicely located and superficially well groomed and clean, the lack of teaching and passion overweighs anything else. I watched my son through out the day for 3 weeks and most of the time he was sitting and counting by himself on his fingers. Entertaining himself which is fine but that would go on everyday, with no learning or enthusiasm to teach and learn. They run around or sit. Go to lunch earlier everyday and have 30 min outside. Thats what he did everyday.I saw a 5 min story time and that was about it. I was disappointed to say the least. The lack of warmth from the teachers are felt as well. I witnessed a very unhappy looking teacher who all she did was bark at the kids, dont touch that, dont do that, and everytime my son came in crying (because it was his first few days, it wasnt easy on either one of us) the ladys reaction was to roll her eyes. How can you work with kids if you visibly dont seem to even like them? Just thought Id fill some parents in because in this case, a prime example is: dont judge a book by its covers.

I started my little one there last year. I chose them over St. Gregorys because of the curriculum. I did not see me paying St. gs to teach my son what he already knew. By his 1st b-day we had the alphabet down, 1-10, shapes, colors, even zoo animals, not just the little farm animals. LBA was the only place I found that was on par with his progress. I do not regret them or the money spent. My 4 year can add, pen down all his letters and the numbers. A lot of parents think it is just pay the school and that is that. No there is a major commitment to be held on the part of the parents as well. Fortunately for me i am a former educator, so I know this first-hand. I cannot wait to send him back this year and watch his progress :)

My family and I attended Ladybird Academy about 2 years ago. We withdrew due to lack of consistency and it just seemed to need some time to develop. I had been hearing for about 7 months that the school is absolutely turned around and the management and staff are educated and extremely loving. I came and did a tour with Mrs Amanda about 4 months ago now and not only did I see a 100% difference but at the end of the tour she introduced me to the director and the director took it over from there giving me all the information I could possible need as well as putting me at ease with my children possibly returning to the center. I must say this was the best decision. This facility is filled with love and you immediately feel like youve been coming there for years and like family. I know people often leave bad reviews if something didnt go the way they wanted or had a conflict but the truth is when people are happy we dont typically take the time out to write and acknowledge the greatness in a business or anything for that manner, we do it more when something upsets us or we get discouraged. I will attest and will also write a private letter to corporate to let them know how impressed I am with Ladybird and I will continue to bring anyone and everyone I know to this facility.

My husband and I toured the school about 6 weeks ago. The school was on a waiting list for just about every class. Despite the fact that we needed care ASAP we loved the school so much that we paid the fee to get on the waiting list. The director called us a week later to update us that a spot had opened. We were beyond excited and I must say this school has really brought my daughter out of her shell. She literally fights me to go home in the evenings to the point where I have to bribe her with items on an almost daily basis to leave. I was more heartbroken that my daughter didnt miss me and would rather be at school. I give a big KOODOS to the teachers and management for making this experience a wonderful one.

I currently have a child enrolled in what appears to be a state of the art facility with all the bells and whistles that make you say “ohhhh ahhhh” and that’s about it for the nice things I have to say. In the 7 or so months my daughter has been in this school she has had two head teachers (their turn is unreal) the children sit at their desk and virtually do nothing - they had a class of 3year olds listening to an Audiobook.....an audiobook!?!? and I can’t fault her teacher she’s great but she’s completely overwhelmed as she’s well over state regulated ratio. Essentially that poor woman was set up for failure. My daughter has come home with cuts and bruises and no incident report is filed. She comes home bouncing off the walls cause she was made to sit all day nothing about her day is memoriable or exciting. We used to be able to watch her but suddenly despite paying for the service our WatchMeGrow app isn’t working- naturallyThe administration of that school is a joke! Go to them with a concern or complaint and you can barely get a word out because the director is full of answers and starved when it comes to actual action. I can’t say how many times I just want to tell her to “be quiet and listen” she might actually get better at her job if she just took a moment to listen rather than hearing until she can give you some bs answer. We have had several different meetings and it changes for a period but overall this woman is not appropriate for the role we have had issues with our accounts issues with policy not being properly dictated BUT the worst is how crappy they make us feel with their snide remarks- things like “we have been doing you a favor” ....yea like that. I dread walking into the building literally dread it. I just now at Work got a call from a debt collector for a debt with the school I didn’t even have! I’m on the phone with coporate more than I am with my husband they should put me on the payroll as a consultant. It’s completely ridiculous- I work full time I don’t have time to continuously catch their mistakes and unsafe classroom situations- I expect as the professional THEY KNOW !My husband and I make a lot of sacrifices to send our daughter to a school we thought we catapulte her in her pending educational journey and I’m ok with admitting we made a mistake yes it’s beautiful but the school is fundamentally broken. That blame I put entirely on the schools administration and coporate for not removing and ineffective Director. We will be having a serious discussion in the coming weeks about moving forward unfortunately our daughter has made friends and we don’t want to move her again but at this point we have no more options and I know this is going to make my little girl sad she has made some good buddies. Please, spare yourself this headache and avoid this “school” like the plague and look anywhere else but here....literally anywhere!

Well now that my son is no longer in this school i feel it necessary to bestow some advice and possible warnings to any parent seeking to place there child in this school.1. This is a corporate driven make as much money as possible school. Any complaints or issues you have with corporate will fall on deaf ears. You may get a representative like i did to calm your nerves of major issues you have with the school such as your kid has an accident and you watch as they place him to sit on a chair while your child has a change of clothes in his cuby but staff refuse to check the cuby so you are forced to leave your JOB! to come to the school to show them there are clothes in the cuby. You tell corporate. falls on deaf years.2. This school has had 4 directors and it is not the directors fault but staff at the school is a revolving door. Your child never knows there teachers name. Some staff were allowed to work at Ladybird for years with toxic and aggressive attitudes. I walked up on Ms. Alex complaining about her hours and days off as well as state I aint doing sh@#. Tell corporate, falls on deaf ears.3. With the exception of Ms. B, Ms. Judy, Ms. Amanda, and Ms. Janet which were the best under the circumstances. The entire staff are way under paid and the kid to teacher ratio is not correct. One teacher will have 21 kids. Of course they are exhausted and quit. Tell Corporate, falls on deaf ears.4. We were told in 2017 the rate for our child was going up $10 due to ensuring quality standards this did nothing to improve anything but put money in corporate pocket.5. Other parents that pulled there children out have told me they learned there child went without eating the entire day or being given water when outside during the brutal heat of summer. They reported the school to DCF.6. I stopped reporting any issues due to the complete corporate neglect and fear of any recourse being taken out on my child by the staff.7. Other parents that have left the school advised ladybird will continue to charge you once you leave the school. My advice have that account at zero if you dont want to get into a back and fourth about reimbursements for when your child was no longer at the school and being charged for it.Its a shame. This school has such potential to be more and it is not. Lastly Ms. B is a shining star in that school. She took my child under her wing and made sure he was okay to the best of her ability. i will always be grateful for that.

I will start by saying the school itself is absolutely gorgeous! When you walk in you really are impressed and think this is it! My son came over for summer camp to be with some friends after attending another school in the local area for five years. After the first week I could not believe how disappointing this school turned out to be. While we really like the teachers in his room (the Veterans class – Ms. Litrelle and Ms. Janet) the overall management of the school was horrendous. The field trips were very poorly planned, the communication to the parents was outrageous even to the point where we would find out that the kids we out on field trips that the parents were unaware of and did not authorize. Half way through summer, the corporate team got rid of the school Director and brought on a new Director named Veronica who is showing mass improvements in the school. She improved the field trip schedule to more local trips and not constantly sending the kids to Miami, kept the parents informed and really is starting to show the parents she is trying to make a difference. However, there is still one major problem in that school, there is a teacher who is slated to be a VPK teacher, Ms. Alex who is unfit to be in a school. She is a bully to the students but will put a smile on her face when she sees you. She talks about parents in front of the kids, and the kids will come home and tell you Ms. Alex was talking about you. She does not report incidents only to find out about things from your children when they get home at night. She has been reported to corporate numerous times and yet the school keeps her on where she should not there. In the middle of the summer, she was either fired or quit went to another school and then came back. When your 5 year old tells you, she is not nice when other teachers are there, but when she is alone with us she yells at everyone, there is a problem. Ladybird corporate does nothing to intervene and this is a problem for anyone looking to place their child in a good environment. If this person was not in this school, along with the new Director’s improvements this school may have a chance to thrive. Since Alex is still there my son or daughter will never step foot back in that school. Do you research and check other schools, there are better options!

I had such high hopes for this place for my infant son and I was so disappointed. The director stopped returning my emails once I went and signed up for the waiting list and left my deposit. No one returned my phone calls or voicemails for months. I ended up enrolling him elsewhere because I could never get in touch with anyone. Then out of the blue I get a phone call saying my son can start the next week. When I asked why no one had returned my calls, I was spoken to rudely and told theyve been calling me weekly to update (I never received one call, voicemail, email, nothing). I asked to speak with the director who said she was on leave and thats why she hadnt returned the emails (these were to the general email account-not her personal one-whatever). I asked to have my deposit back since this was completely their fault, and she agreed and said itd be in the mail within a week. That was 2 months ago, still nothing. Since then I have met one mom who put her 3 month old there and saw them put him in time out in a bumbo in the corner facing the wall on the web cam. A 3 month old!!!! Needless to say she pulled him out. Ive also interviewed a previous employee of theirs who said she had left due to being the only teacher in a class of 22 toddlers! I started my son at Ladybird back in Aug 2015 in the 3 year old room. I had high hopes as it was a new school, it was clean and one of other parents spoke highly of it. After about 1 month I was questioning my decision. His teacher seemed totally disengaged and exhausted. Probably because they had like 23 kids in a room with 2 teachers. I guess you can call it 2 when one is the room for a few minutes and then is constantly moving around. I think they have it this was so they can say its 2 to get through the state requirement but its 1. I even watched what was going on on the video cam. The school will tell you they are all about curriculum. What an absolute joke! I saw 5 minutes worth of curriculum and the rest of the day the kids were running around with no organization. Pure chaos. I also witnessed one of the PreK teacher grabbing a little girl by the arm really roughly and yelling in her face. Terrible!!! I would pick my son up and he would just be standing there outside, crying, without a single teacher addressing it. Just standing there ignoring it.I think in a span of 9 months he had 4 different teachers!I finally talked to Carrie with Corporate and she said it would be better. Well, it didnt. The director Michelle ( I guess now the Assistant Director) is rude at best. She was incredibly difficult to deal with. They told me they were getting a playground in Oct. Well, its April and no playground, juts a climbing igloo and a teeter-totter. They are so disorganized its unbelievablePLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not be fooled by the shiny, new school. This place is a nightmare. They need a major overhaul and get their stuff together or people are going to leave. I guarantee it! I am so glad I did. My son is now at another school is West Boca off Yamato and 441. Little more expensive, but worth every penny. Night and day difference. He has been there one week and hes happiest I have seen him in months.

I removed my four year old from another pre-k program in November of last year for I was afraid she would not be academically prepared for kindergarten. Unfortunately she did not recognize many letters of the alphabet or even numbers and had been in the school from the age of 2.I am however proud to say I have not regretted that decision one bit; for I have only seen great things from my child ever since. She has done nothing but thrive there. I remember her coming home after just one month at Ladybird eager to learn and wanting to write on everything she could get her hands on, lol. She is now reading, doing addition and subtraction, and she hasnt even entered kindergarten yet. Not to mention they put on the most beautiful pre-k graduation I have ever been to.I have even enrolled her in their summer camp where she gets to go on trips like a big girl at the age of 4, and just love how the older kids look out for the rookies.I will not deny there is still much room for improvement. Keeping their computer labs up and running, having a dedicated Spanish teacher, and having an advanced pre k class like they said they would would, would help. They could definitely use an extra hand in each of their pre k classes and maybe pay better so that there teacher turnover rates are not as high. There are definitely still some kinks they must work through just as any other school within their first year of operation would.Special mention to some the hardest working teachers I have seen in a very long time...and I come from a family of dedicated educators: Ms. Janet, Alex, and Nisha are true gems. I look forward to them teaching my 1yr old who is also there and has already learned a ton and is moving up into the bumblebees😊 this year.
