So my daughter (15months) is a quarantine baby born march, 2020 so you can imagine how spoiled she is having two full time parents jump to her every need. Not only does she already let the teachers hold her(her 5 aunties can NOT hold her or she screams, they give her back to me every time) when I came to pick her up, she finished sipping her drink b4 reaching her arms out for me. Honestly Im getting jealous but safe to say the school is amazing, the staff is sweet and very responsive. Also you can see into the crawlers room but I dont recommend if you want you baby to be comfortable without you. Also the 1st day she came home saying ouuuuu wowwww (lol) and 1st week, she sleeps more independently and she copes herself b4 I can even get to her when she cries. They are doing just amazing.... happy tears....

I see a few recent negative reviews, let me clear those up right now. I’ve had my daughter in several daycares in the area and not going to lie, I’m hard to please when it comes to the safety of my daughter.This has been the best experience I have had and I do not plan on moving anytime soon. Teachers are amazing and communicative. Both the director and assistant director are amazing and really care for the children under their care.They use class dojo and provide a paper recapping daily things your child does. Plus they have a ton of themed events. My child has brought home more arts n crafts than any other school she’s been in. That combined with a nice sized playground, makes for a fun day.Also the price is amazing compared to others, some day cares I’ve paid over 1100 a month for and got terrible care that didn’t even include food! This daycare gives you the option to include a healthy meal plan or bring your own, they do not allow unhealthy options in the menu either. I won’t tell you the exact price, but I can tell you it’s significantly better priced than most daycares in the area.To summarize, stop searching and just call them for a tour. Best care, best price, and gives you peace of mind that your kids having fun.

I was intrested in sending my four-year-old to VPK at the Sherwood Academy. We were so excited we dropped him off and 2 hours later we came back to pick him up. As my husband entered the school director couldnt run fast enough to grab my child and and escort him out of the building... My husband asked how his day was the school director replied hes not a good fit for this school. I contacted the school when my husband got home he told me the horrifying story that they told him hes not a good fit as well because he wouldnt sit down while the teacher was giving a lesson. How do you judge a child whos never been to any type of schooling? How do you judge him in only 2 hours? I felt like the school was extremely unprofessional and I would never recommend this to any parent.

I love Sherwood Academy I feel so comfortable dropping my daughters off there every single day... they treat all their students as if they were their own Im one of those crazy moms who didnt trust anyone with my girls... I love all the fun activities they do with the kids and even parents ...I would highly recommend this school, you will not be disappointed and your child will be in a place full of love and learning!! Whats better then that!!

I absolutely LOVE Sherwood Academy!! Within 6 months of attending, my 2 year-old, who has never been in school before, was learning her colors, numbers, animals and their sounds, interacting with other children, shes learning to use the potty, shes even learning Spanish! I love how every week theres a learning curriculum and daily schedule posted for the parents. Healthy hot lunches, the children are always happy, ALL the teachers & staff are loving & trustful, and Clean! Clean! Clean!

My Daughter loves this school. I find the teachers are very kind, helpful and always looking out for the children. I have seen my daughters skills in writing, speaking, and overall now reading improve dramatically since her first start .The teachers always seem to take a personal interest in the development of every child. The Director Miss Adriana and her support personnel Christina are also second to none. I strongly recommend Sherwood.

Wonderful. Very caring and loving. Excellent VPK. Very willing to work with you and be flexible with scheduling as needed. Ms. Erika does an amazing job with the decorations. The Christmas show was so well done. Ms. Adriana is really warm and funny if you take the time to get to know her. The lunch program is healthy and affordable.

I have had a very negative experience with the Director of this school. Last week as my husband went to pick up my son he was handed a refund check and was told my son could no longer come back. No other explanation! We had received reports about incidents that had happened while playing in the playground but never did the director asked for a meeting or offered us any type of advise or plan to work around the situation. I trusted this daycare to help with my son during my work hours and the moment my son needed a little extra attention, the director, decided to have the receptionist give my husband a check refund and expell my son from the school. This is so unprofessional even my pediatrician had never heard of such things and was outraged to see that instead of helping families in our situation they would just expeled children who need more structure and attention. Not once did the director organized any type of meeting with us to discuss the situation, they definitely lack support structure and I would never recommend this school to anybody!

Excellent pre-school. My daughter loves it. The teachers are very caring and bilingual (which I appreciate). The program is very educational, and includes lots of activities. My daughter has learned so much since she started year and a half ago.

I would recommend this school a 100% Im one of those moms who is terrified to put my daughter in school because of this nasty world.... but when i tell you i picked the perfect school for both of my daughters I mean it!!!!... Mrs. domi the Pre-k teacher is Absolutely an amazing teacher, my daughter has learned so much being there with her.. But not only that miss domi has taught my daughter About health and I think thats so important... my daughters go to food is salad and water because its healthy mommy every food shes like is this healthy mommy its adorable. All of the kids are so well behaved she teaches them spanish also. MRS. Domi is amazing.. also Ms.Francie for 2 year old is also amazing she truly loves her students and has so much patience i love all the teachers there the director Adrianna is also so helpful so loving, i feel like its one big family...definently recommend

Mh daughter loves her teachers and I always pick her up happy.She was previous daycare that i was in love with but due to finances could not keep her their and I was extremely bummed. After a couple weeks at Sherwood amd seeing my daughter blosom like she has I am glad we made the move. Definatley recommend!

I cant say enough about the teachers and the directors at Sherwood Academy! Everyone is always so pleasnt, the school is immacualtely clean, their ideas and crafts are out of this world fantastic and their learing plans for all the kids are top notch! My son is a better person from being a part of your school and we have enjoyed the 2 years we have been able to share.We will miss you guys next year!!

I am extremely happy with this Daycare, grateful to Mrs. Adriana for being so attentive and sweet to us, also to Sol, thanks to Mrs. Francy and Mrs. Mirla because I could not imagine some better teachers for my daughter, she is happy and I am very pleased that after so much searching for a good daycare that meets all my needs as a mom, I have found Sherwood Academy. The best choice, always with very good communication, are always honest, and I love that my daughter can grow with people who share my culture, values ​​and language.

I do not recommend it, we had a bad experience with my grandson, they lack vocation, professionalism, ethics, above all a lot of love and wisdom; the Director Mrs. Adriana says she is a Christian lady and of the love of GOD she has nothing. MY son-in-law complained that the boy was being beaten and from there the frequent calls for attention began. Lack of professionalism because my grandson was fired and he was not even able to call the Director or send a statement, but instead delegated the work to a subordinate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
